This was a fun little stop! I went twice during the week, so that should say something. Both visits the team was super helpful and the service was great. I ordered at the counter and grabbed a seat the first day. I got an asada burrito. It was cooked well and full of meat. The salsa options put it over the top. I got to bounce back and forth between hot and cool. The decor inside is pretty cool, the tables are perfect for the venue. On the second visit I got a taco plate and it was done before I sat down! Pork and beef, both were awesome! I also got a margarita, they need to highlight these on the menu, they were just what a guy needed! Great food, great service, great location!

Had some pretty casual Mexican food. Invicto is another one of these such restaurants in Naperville. Basically you order at the counter. Kind of overpriced. They also have limited options for vegetarians it seems. Coming in here it kind of looks like a chain. It's just got a pretty corporate feel to it. This is apparently one location of a few in the suburbs. At least the food comes out fast. Has only a few tables. Basically why most orders are carryout. It's about $8 for a margarita. Comes in a regular pop cup. Fuck no. Also not that impressive of a flavor. Maybe not worthy of a glass. Basically people come here for the food. It's about $12 for the Taco Plate. Choose fillings. We got ours with the vegetables. Comes with beans and rice. Said the fried avocados have milk, so we didn't get those. Okay but basic. The rest of the menu has chicken and quesadillas. Got to say it's not worth the charges. It's located in Freedom Commons amongst the chain restaurants. There's a few things for vegans and vegetarians.

Ambiance - clean, modern, love the vintage Coca Coca decorations + machine Service - order food by the kiosks, find your own table, our food was ready within 15 min Food - love the quesabirria tacos (so much flavor), meixcan hot chicken is a must get (ck was so juicy and had a good kick)

My husband and I have heard mixed reviews of invicto and finally decided to try it out for ourselves. This fast casual spot offers tacos, burritos, milkshakes, fries, etc. I would say it's a more upscale version of chipotle. The vibe is definitely of a taqueria. My concern though was I couldn't tell if chairs and tables were made to look rough or if the place was dirty. I'd say it was a mix of both. Service was fast - there are 2 kiosks where customers are able to put in an order. There is not a front counter with someone taking orders. After ordering, our food was ready within 3-5 mins. We both ordered the 1 taco and 1 quesadilla entree that comes with rice and beans. A cheese quesadilla and a chicken quesadilla cost the exact same. In my opinion, even if you don't want chicken you might as well get it and pick it off to give it to whoever you're with instead haha. Quality wise it was decent but not at the price point it's at. 1 steak taco is $6 (without a side).

The food has so much flavor and the prices make it very affordable. Good portions l, cheap drinks AND a salsa bar! My new go to!! This location has outside seating. Very cool atmosphere. People are nice. Very affordable AND great taste!!

I was totally disappointed about this place I was truly looking forward to this hype All over the internet specially the one on oakbrook bit o was very disappointed!!!!! The food was not good at all I had 2 tacos and a chocolate shake it was the worse shake I ever had my son order a cemita chiken I don't know why they even make restraints like this to bring Mexican food down. The salsas were so horrible and I don't mean to be so negative about this place but not only was the food tasteless but the Prices were extremely pricey I did not even finish my shake and trust me I am A chocoholic but the shake was so horrible I did ask for a churro it was ok The service it was like you order on a laptop and you go pick up your own food A fast service kind of thing The ambiance very authentic of a Poor FONDA in Mexiconot my kind of place not coming back

The food was excellent, the staff was welcoming, and the whole place had a great vibe - clean and comfortable. The corn and the chicken al pastor were the standouts for me. I'll definitely be coming back.

Here at Invicto you walk in and feel like you have traveled across the world to a little Hispanic town, where all the locals go for a good meal! The hanging plants, the tile-work, and the colors welcome you in for an experience that will bring you back time and time again! The food is made fresh and very flavorful! You cannot go wrong on this menu. Ordering is easy on the kiosk and for every meal Invicta sells, they donate a meal for a child in school in a developing country. So yes the menu is a little pricier, but when you know the extra few dollars go to better the world, it makes it worth it! Be sure to stop in and plan to spend a little bit of time in this little time-warp.

Invicto continues to be a favorite suburban mexican spot of mine. Their menu can be a tad pricey but everything is fresh and made to order. They have a wide variety of meat and vegetarian protein options for all food offerings. I loved the new addition of the salsa bar that was self serve. Also, don't skip out on the churro milkshakes! Tip: there is no one to take orders. They have kiosk computers in the corner that one orders at. The top of the screen will have the food categories. Once one selects: you choose your protein type, if you want it grilled or not, and sometimes what sides you'd like. It is the last screen where you can customize your order to exclude toppings. This took me a bit to find.

First off when I walked in. No hello. We waited to get our order taken patiently just to be yelled at: "Go over there. The screen." So we did. I have one rule for a restaurant: when I walk in and don't smell the food AND I am not greeted at all by anyone I walk out. I should've stuck to that. When you walk in you can't smell food and the ambience is dead. We ordered asada quesadillas with rice and fries and it came with chips. We also got asada nachos. Portions generous. Steak pretty much seasoned well. Chips so salty and so thick I almost broke a front teeth. Wouldn't have been so hard if they were fresh however the nachos chips were made out of a thick tortilla to begin with. Salsa bar is amazing every sauce was banging! Cheese for quesadillas so low quality. We didn't even finish them. The people that work here are mean. Got part of our order wrong and was reluctant to change it. I mean.. ugly stares and rolled eyes and all. Not worth it for overpriced subpar food. My boyfriend said we were better off at chipotle and he didn't lie. That sums this review up.

I come here past 3 years straight for my lunch and its been the best taco place ever. High quality. Always maintained fresh. The manager Fabi is the best, she is super friendly. And provides the best service to every customer. They never lack quality and taste. 10 out of 10

OMG - first bite was deliciousness exploding in my mouth. This was good. I had a Pollo Asado Taco, Mulas with Chicken, and Jamaica agua Fresca. Let's just say this exceeded my expectations since I'm from San Diego where we have some of the best Mexican eateries. This place's ambience is "happy" - like "fiesta!" with the music playing. They also have a salsa bar. I might come back for dinner tomorrow... I actually want another Mulas...but I'm so full. All of this for $16 - reasonable prices I must say. Now I want a churro (which they also have).

On yelp, it labels this place as Halal. Has anyone confirmed any of the meat is halal?

    It is not.

What on your menu is vegan or can be made vegan? Thank you!

They have fried avocados ( they are so good!) - you could do a salad or corn tortilla taco with and beans and pico. I would confirm with the owner there are no animal by products in the dressing, shells, or the fried avocado.

BIEN HERE BEFORE As…read morepart of the Bien Trucha restaurant family, Quiubo serves some familiar flavors in downtown Naperville. The Water St area has a great variety of restaurants including Vasili's (modern Greek), Blue Sake (sushi), SixtyFour Wine Bar and Quiubo (modern Mexican).  Technically I ate from here once - takeout during covid - but it was so long ago it might as well not count.  Most recently, my wife and I came here for dinner on a Friday in late June and sat outside. The sangria ($14) was strong, I appreciated the extra touches like apple bitters and a float of bourbon.  My wife loved the Pa'Dentro ($15), a cocktail with tequila, passion fruit, and orange liqueur.  The mango habanero margarita ($15) was also mixed perfectly.  5/5 The guacamole ($11) was fresh and flavorful: avocado, tomatillo, onion, cilantro, serrano and lime.  My wife found it a bit too spicy (diced serrano adds more heat than a traditional jalapeno) but I enjoyed it despite a small-ish portion.  4/5 We also got a queso fundido de camaron ($16): melted chihuahua cheese, red onion and pan seared shrimp, with tortillas and cilantro-serrano sauce.  Pan searing the shrimp instead of grilling them is certainly a choice....but not one I'd make again.  2/5 Esquites ($8.50), on the other hand, were awesome: grilled corn, epazote butter, lemon aioli, cotija cheese, tajin.  One of the best we've tried in a long time, but for $9 we expected a lot more elote!  5/5 The birria tacos (2 for $11) were very good; my wife was right to point out they should've come with a cup of birria juice on the side.  The tacos al pastor (2 for $10) were delicious: marinated pork with pineapple, cilantro, onion and salsa morita.  Next time, more tacos!  4.5/5 For dessert we got flan ($10), a creamy vanilla custard with caramel, rompope and cookie crumbs.  It was a denser style of flan and tasted amazing, but I don't know how I feel about that random pile of cookie dust.  4/5 Bread = 4.5 Circuses = 3.5 It took way too long for a server to come over and take our order at the beginning.  Thankfully the food came out FAST!  The bar, on the other hand, was lagging big time.  We were more than halfway finished with dinner by the time our cocktails showed up. Also important note for cheapskates like me: they do not serve free chips & salsa.  Quiubo isn't that kind of place, so if you want salsa with chips, you'll have to pay for it. * TL;DR * Rest assured you can get the same high quality tacos and cocktails from the Bien Trucha group. We were really impressed with a couple items like the esquites/elotes and al pastor tacos, as well as the atmosphere inside.  The vibes outside were solid and even though service was slow at first, we'd love to come back.  I'd recommend Quiubo for sure.
