Delicious traditional food. Great service. Perfect, that's all I needed for a quiet Sunday evening.

    Rice for 4

Normally i wouldnt do this but im sick of having to throw away money at places like this! Ya weve been going here for years . Love the food but the other day i orderd extra extra beans and rice for 11$ the waitress said she put an extra order of bean and rice , but she didn't! So i called and said something but they didnt believe me when i said it was short an order and for 11-12$ for beans and rice i expect the order to be right and the took the waitresses word . We've been long time customers and here's the pics of what they said was for 4 people. Thats 23$ of bean and rice ? Naw! Theyve kinda pulled stuff like this before. We stopped going there because they pulled shaddy shit before but the ffoid is great but if i wanted to give that money away it wouldnt be to them . Needless to say they didnt make good on it ! Ive also asked over and over for extra salsa and the owner wouldnt do it even when i offerd to pay for it over and over . Todays dinner was 82$ i got a carne asda my wife a dinner plate tilly killies and two sde orders for 4 people .i got only one order and they believed the waitress. Who didnt even go in the back to prepair the plates . So they said the waitress put double portion in the container thats wasn't true u can decide for urself would u pay 23$ for that? ! Naw ! Im done supporting them ! Sick of people taking advantage of people!does that look like enough salsa for 4 people?ive offerd to pay extra but they wont give it to u! Weird ! Ill never go back there again ! Bummer because i love the food ! Just sick of getting ripped off!

First try today and it did not disappoint. The food was incredibly tasty, filling. salsas were good. They took their time cooking it. Super friendly server. Vibes were so chill on a Wednesday afternoon. Love the Spanish music in the background. Clean. Definitely coming back monthly.

I ordered menudo from this place for take out. It was my first time trying it here and it was okay. I thought it was unusual that they put chickpeas/garbanzo beans in the stew instead of hominy. I've tried menudo in many other restaurants throughout the US (LA, El Paso, even in Hot Springs) and in Mexico and it has always been hominy. I was missing the the texture that hominy brings to the soup, the chickpeas made it more creamy/ starchy. The flavor of the broth could have been a little richer. As for the toppings, I love that they included fresh jalapeños, onions, and cilantro, but it was missing the dry oregano. Lastly when did menudo get so pricey?!?? My bill came out to $19. I would give this place another try because the other dishes they have look good.

Did I read that correctly or is it a typo that on Monday and Tuesday the restaurant closes at 4pm but is open until 9pm the rest of the week?

The restaurant was decorated for the Fourth of July, creating a festive atmosphere, and everything from the décor to the aromas felt genuine and welcoming. The staff was attentive, personable, and made the experience even better. I ordered a chicken and steak burrito with rice, beans, and cheese, and it was outstanding. The shredded chicken in mole sauce was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, while the steak was cooked perfectly and complemented the burrito beautifully. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and I'll definitely be coming back!

We loved the old-school vibe immediately. We arrived around 4:45 and waited only 5-10 minutes. Then we saw the fresh tortillas being made and thought, "This could be good!" The atmosphere was relaxed, with full table service and great chips and salsa. We ordered a plate of fajitas to share and a shredded beef taco. Funny enough, I thought I was ordering a taco platter, but one lonely taco arrived on a bed of shredduce. Thankfully, it was excellent. A good shredded beef taco is surprisingly hard to find, and this was my favorite part of the meal. Overall, the food, service and atmosphere were all great. I'll definitely return. I found a parking spot behind the restaurant that felt a little sketchy, but it worked. I'll probably look for street parking next time. 4.5 stars

Did not like the Al Chile! as much. Very sweet and not much spice. The service was a little slow sometimes. He came by to ask about dessert and we said we needed a few minutes and then he never came back. We ended up having to get up to ask for our check. There is limited street parking. Pricey but I decided to try them: Chicken taco: weakest of the bunch, not very enjoyable flavor in the marinade. Carne asada: good. Tender steak, good flavor. Barbacoa: the best of the three, served with what was their salsa verde, paired nicely. No parking. Small, cramped interior.

The tacos come with a tub freshly made tomato salsa and another tub of fresh chopped jalapeños in another tub. You mix the two for your preferred heat.
