We ordered online a beef birria bowl, and the most important part of the meal (BEEF) was missing from our bowl. For this reason, I don't think I'd ever recommend this place to anybody!

First experience at Loqui and really enjoyed it. Enjoyed how menu isn't overwhelming and restaurant provided good customer service. Ordered the Beef Birria Bowl and had simple ingredients that were fresh and not over flavored (or full of preservatives and etc). I really appreciate bowl came with your choice a chips, flour or corn tortillas. Went with the flour and were good; nice treat and accompaniment to the bowl. Enjoyed healthy flavorful options Loqui offered and would recommend.

Loqui had really good customer service and really good food. I forgot to take pictures of the chicken tacos before my review. But trust that it was good!!

Dropped by this place for a quick meal and drink and was impressed by the quality of the food. My boyfriend and friend got a couple of the tacos and the quality and flavor of the meats was amazing. They were all heavily seasoned and incredibly flavorful. I will say I docked down a star for the price as I feel $8+ per taco is a bit excessive and not super reasonable for the amount of food you get For $20. While the tacos are bigger than a typical taco you'd get, $16+ for tacos is a bit high in my opinion. The margaritas were okay, we thought they tasted good but were quite sweet and lacking in tequila. My hibiscus one mainly tasted like a juice and not a margarita, I'm also assuming They were canned cocktails for $12 which again feels really high as it's a small cup with a lot Of ice. I got their kids meal which comes with a small cup of guac, chips and a quesadilla. The quesadilla was simple as expected but I enjoyed the chips and guac. It was overall a yummy place but the price makes me hesitant to come back as I feel your money doesn't go very far here. I agree with other reviews that I would love more options for variety here, and think it'd be cool if they had a base price where you could pick and choose what you wanted in the items rather than only the few prefixed tacos and bowls. If it was more affordable I would def see myself coming frequently as the tacos were really good.

We wanted something fast-casual that still felt healthy, thoughtful, and genuinely delicious. Vibe / Space: Located in a shared space with other shops and eateries, it's airy and relaxed with plenty of indoor seating plus a large patio. Easygoing, neighborhood-friendly energy. Order / Standouts: The mushroom bowl is a standout. It's earthy, satisfying, and perfect with all the sides (beans, rice, guacamole). Don't skip the seasonal cantaloupe drink--refreshing, lightly sweet, and clearly made with care. Service: 10/10. Warm, kind, and generous without feeling rushed. Good For: A quick, casual bite when you want something nourishing and high quality. Price / Value: Expect ~$20+ per person for a bowl and a drink, which feels fair given the freshness and execution. Parking: Paid lot across the street (first hour free) plus free street parking nearby. The area feels safe and walkable if you need to park a bit farther. What It's Known For / Buzz: Loqui has a loyal following for its produce-forward bowls, house-made tortillas, and rotating seasonal beverage. Pro Tip Always ask about the seasonal drink--it's worth it.

The eloquence. The locquaciousness. The absence of locust. It's all irrelevant as it regards finding groovy Mexican food. LOQUI brings it. We had a couple of BOWLS: Chicken and pulled pork. The meat was well-seasoned and reasonably tender. Nice combo of guac, onions, that cojita cheese often found on Mexican dishes, plus tasty pinto beans. The CHIPS are killer; crunchy and hot. I had to kinda look for this joint; craftily tucked away into a corner of the Market area - just south of the theater. When presented with paper bowls, plastic forks and chuck-it-yourself serving trays, I tend to shy away. I didn't prejudge it though and was glad I didn't...this was a good, quick and quality meal for a decent price. Factor in that they offer a couple of options of BOTTLED ICE COLD BEER and this was a winner.

Yum! Loqui is a cute Mexican restaurant located in the busy Runway Playa Vista. Its aesthetic is very modern with bold accents. I love the bright orange marigolds strung around the restaurant. Their menu is pretty straight forward offering tacos, bowls, sides, chips and beverages. Even though the menu is straight forward, they do offer some unique types of tacos and bowls. They have an achiote chicken, mushroom, pork conchita and more! I got the achiote chicken taco and a pork conchita taco. The tacos are big, stuffed with goodness. Both tacos were delicious; full of flavor and fresh ingredients. I would come back to try their spicy garlic shrimp taco and their beef birria taco.

This place is alright! It's inside of a food hall, that's part of a plaza that has restaurants, shops, a movie theatre, a grocery store, and medical offices. The entire area is nice, but be warned that the parking is quite expensive in the attached structure, with not many options to validate. The food is good quality, but not that flavorful. It's on the pricier side, and I wouldn't rush to return, but I'd say check it out if you're already there. :)

Love Loqui. Fresh ingredients, food's always made and seasoned right. Love their agua frescas. One of my go-to spots in Playa Vista.

We were attracted by the bigger than average size tacos on Google and decided to give it a try. We ordered four kinds of tacos including: - pork cochinata (very spicy) - beef birria (a bit spicy) - achiote chicken - spicy garlic shrimp (a bit spicy) Overall I like the shrimp most followed by the chicken. They are not as moist as beef or pork but I likes crisp and clean flavor complimented by shredded veggies. The other two meats are full of juice and can be greasy if you are not into fat. The portion size is ok. $7 per taco is definitely in the expensive side but hey this is playa vista. The flavors are a modern take on the taco. If you are looking for legit down to earth traditional tacos, this place is not for you.

Would you consider putting the breakfast tacos on the all day menu so we can still order it but it doesn't extend the hours so there isn't additional overhead? I'm really sad they are gone 😭

As much as we would like to it would just complicate things during the lunch and dinner rush. On Friday we added a new veggie taco and 'hopefully' can add shrimp 7 days a week which is still pushing it for our team.…

Is it true there are no more breakfast tacos? I will cry

That is correct;( Unfortunately we just weren't selling enough for it to make sense to keep doing.

    Are there gluten free options?

Yes, as long as you don't order flour tortillas.

It is a small space, but well appointed, candy to the eye, very high up there in summer ambiance, a cool breeze, toe tapping music and the relax vibe. It is difficult to imagine that you are actually in the Los Angeles area. I came here for their 4-course $35 Dine LA Lunch menu. Always looking for something different, I started with the Papas Al Mole. It was overdosed with Crema and Queso Fresco, burying the papas. Less of Mole, thats okay, yet this concoction sogged up the whole top layer of fries and made them worthless. Why do eateries do that? For the second course, Aguachile De Sandia Y Tomate. The star here were the wedges of heirloom tomatoes. They blended well with the watermelon cubes and light touch of Aguachile (not too acidic). Exactly my style, a superb dish. Perfecto. For the main (a hand held choice), for me, the Carne Asada Taco. The Arrachera marinated flank steak pieces were soft, tender, juicy and bursting with flavor. Think dissolution on the taste buds. A well orchestrated combination of a few condiments to highlight the meat (as it should be), all housed in a fresh, lightly toasted tortilla shell that was both crisp and soft. Though a very simple presentation, this taco was a masterpiece in culinary construction and prowess. For the final and fourth course, a no brainer, Churros with chocolate sauce. They could have ended on a high note but did not. Why? The 3 small churro cylinders were cute and ideal, but they were accompanied with a chocolate paste (not a sauce, as per the menu). Thus, taking away the thrill and viscous liquid pleasure of chocolate. As it transpired, this was the last restaurant on my Dine LA "To Do List". And I knew I would pay a price for it, in terms of travel. Getting there, the parking, and the slow, choking traffic crawl back to the SFV, more than lived up to its expectations. The whole round trip, with dining, took almost 4 hours. And yes, the Butterfly was worth it. A fitting finale, for new discoveries and creative eating, during these 2 fantastic weeks of Dine LA. If only they could modify the first and last courses. Oh well.
