The flavors here are so amazing! There's a very large variety and you can try everything! There's also a lot of Vegas and season flavors too which is nice!! Ice cream itself tastes very handmade and with fresh ingredients. Outside is cute with some yellow chairs and stools to eat at! Very cute at night with lights!! Service is very friendly and quick too!! Definitely a hidden gem as it's not super obvious it's ice cream! No parking except the street, but it's not too hard to find a spot! read more

A local recommended this ice cream spot and I must say, the ice cream certainly was divine. I was able to sample a lot of tasty flavors, but the Lavender Honeycomb stood out the most at the time. The lavender flavor was very strong and tasty. In addition, the honeycomb bits added a welcomed crunchy texture. I got a one scoop and wow the portion is huge. It was $8.50, so the portion size makes sense. However, it was definitely a bit too much ice cream for one sitting, so I definitely recommend getting a child's scoop or sharing the one scoop. read more

I don't come to the west side often but when I do, I must try places I haven't been to before. I had another place in mind but my friends said I had to try Ginger's and they were right!! The location is so cute. There's string lights hanging outside and the building looks like a little bungalow. I got to sample many flavors and they have a large variety of dairy free options (pretty much an entire case). Fortunately I am not lactose intolerant so I got a kids scoop of their signature billionaires brownie. The kids scoop is actually 2 scoops and you can split them for an additional 50¢. It's more than enough for me. It was $8.50 I believe which is a little steep for a "kids scoop" but hey.. it's LA read more

Divine ice cream indeed. They have an entire row of yummy vegan ice cream flavors (that aren't just sorbets). Small interior with limited seating, but also very bright and lively. Wonderful customer service. The only thing that I would keep in mind is that they are completely cashless, so only contactless payments are allowed :(. Everything else was amazing. read more

Glad I tried Ginger's when there was no line because I was able to sample alot of the chocolate options. The flavors were all really good. I ended up going with the best seller chocolate and peanut butter. I enjoyed it at first but there were too many chunks of reeses for me. I prefer ice cream over toppings, but I'm sure most of their customers love the big reeses chunks. I like that they had a kid scoop too. Cute seating outside. Terrible parking. read more

As someone who doesn't like chocolate ice cream, the dark chocolate s'mores looked really really good so I tired it and wow it knocked my socks off! I got a kid scoop and it was even better. It was so rich and decadent. It had these soft marshmallow fluff swirls mixed in. I love love loved. The prices are bit higher than I would like but it's a nice treat. Some seriously delicious ice cream served by polite staff. They have multiple locations around LA and each of the ones that I've been to has a giant selection of flavor options. They really do have a lot of great flavors to choose from which is one of my favorite parts of this place. The portion sizes are also gigantic so you can honestly get one scoop and be happy, two scoops is almost too much. Parking is fairly easy here, we were able to find a free street spot in the neighborhood behind. Inside is pretty small, they don't have any tables to dine in so this will be a to go spot. They do have plenty of chairs outside and we saw many people sitting at them so that is a nice second option. For this visit I chose the Burnt Sugar Vanilla and Lavender Honeycomb and loved both. Overall, some really great ice cream and I would suggest to anyone searching for a sweet treat. read more

Sorry Ginger's, but your ice cream and service just isn't what it used to be. I've been going to Ginger's since this was the only location. I remember what the original ice cream tastes like. Service used to be friendly and accommodating, making those long lines worth it. Now? Nope. I got a few of my go-tos last time, including Farmer's Market Strawberry. It was a joke-an icy mess that tasted way more mass produced, than small batch. And the service? Rude and short. They have always been great about doing a fresh scoop from the back (I'm sorry, you have a giant sign stating let us know about allergies) but the person who helped me was literally trying to just not do their job. Didn't want to go to the back because (their words) "it would take 40 minutes to defrost a tub." Like what? The kids who worked here in the past (some of which were my husband's students-we are VERY local) would never. Two stars for nostalgia and that my winter wonderland was fine (again, not the same as past years, also icy) last month. read more

Okay I see what the hype is all about! Damn! This ice cream place is awesome! I'm going to be coming back here more and more They got a huge vegan selection. It can get pretty packed after dinner so have patience. It's worth it. There are couples tables in front of the shop you can sit at. You can also get some pre-pre-packed ice cream to go. read more

I loved that this place is close, has outside seating for a more backyard feel and bomb flavors and ice cream. We got the boo! Flavor but even flavors like the pomegranate and vanilla based flavors were so rich and creamy! The only con was the service. It felt like the girl helping us out that night was being rude as she made us feel hurried and even walked away from us before we finished paying. She said they were closinng by soon but we got there at 8:30 and online it says they closed at 10pm and there were still people coming in and hanging out outside, so not sure what that was about. Overall, I would go again and try different flavors! Definitely worth the trip and money for the quality of the place and ice cream! read more

Cute little ice cream shop in Culver! Service was excellent. We were able to try the various vegan and GF flavors, and then picked our two favorites - pink guava and coffee ice cream which was absolutely delish (not too sweet, just perfectly flavorful). Wish the cookies - chocolate chip & snickerdoodle - for the ice cream sandwich were vegan/GF (they were unfortunately neither). So many flavors to choose from, I was overwhelmed but was happy they gave me unlimited samples! I got to try alot and ended up getting the chocolate coma and cold brew in a single split, a little on the expensive side. The other samples I tried did not really stand out to me and was just okay. 4 stars because I would not go out of my way to come back again but if i was in the area, then maybe, no IT factor about this place in my opinion. read more

After my second time here I don't think I'll be back. Each time we came in and there were 2 employees, 1 is friendly to the group ahead of us, telling them "you can try as many flavors as you like!" but we end up with the unfriendly guy. Neither time was it busy, no one was waiting behind us. The first time I got the chocolate covered marzipan and it was good, thankfully, because the guy didn't offer any samples. Today a different guy did let me try a couple flavors but he didn't even say a word to me. I got the milk and cereal and it was gross - my sample must've missed the cereal part because it absolutely ruined the ice cream, gummy pieces of flavorless cereal in milk ice cream. There are too many good ice cream places in LA to give this place a third try. read more

3 stars for the customer service! I was so excited to come here because they have so many vegan flavors - I asked the guy if I could sample two flavors, and he seemed so annoyed. The ice cream itself tastes great, but I'm super hesitant to come back because if I'm going to spend $30 on two ice creams, I'd expect the staff to be a little more welcoming. We love Ginger's. It's certainly a pricey scoop of ice cream, but I've never a bad scoop yet! The servers are always pleasant and my daughter loves this place. Woah, what a treat. This $8 single scoop of lychee pomegranate sherbet was Devine. A unique flavor I have not had before. I was tempted to buy a $30 quart but was afraid it would melt on the way home. Definitely brining a cooler next time. Ginger's is on the higher end of hand made ice cream but definitely worth the scoop. Treat yourself...and make sure you sample a few flavors. Street parking is a bit limited and I had to feed the meter. There is plenty of seating outside. We enjoyed our scoops on some comfy chairs and the weather was perfect. Enjoy! read more

I swear I tried like 20 flavors before I could make a decision; I felt so bad for the person helping me out but she was very nice and provided some recommendations based on the flavors I was sampling.I ended up getting a single scoop of the calamansi yuzu, which was an awesome, refreshing sorbet to have after dinner. My friend and I were thinking of getting a scoop each, but as soon as she scooped my one, we decided to share because it was such a large portion. I think I would've opted for the kids size if I knew how high they were going to load it up with ice cream! They have lots of seating outside for you to sit and enjoy your sweet treat. read more

One of our favorite ice cream places in LA. They have an amazing and ever-changing array of inventive flavors, and the scoops are very generous. The ice cream has a great mouth feel to it - creamy without being too dense. Some of my favorite flavors are the cherry chocolate brownie, raspberry panna cotta, and pickled strawberry and blueberry pie (it's not sour). My husband loves the lavender honeycomb, and my daughter loves the pink grapefruit pink peppercorn EVOO sorbet, to give you a sense of how interesting their flavors are. This place is simply amazing but Parking can be a nightmare. I thought this was just another bougie ice cream place. And while still bougie, the service and flavors set them apart. They have gluten free options and all healthy options to choose from. But if you're having ice cream, just have the real thing. I tried their Vietnamese coffee and brown sugar bourbon. It was heaven! They have sugar cones and waffle cones. Also cookies and brownies. The place is small so with a few people it may feel crowded but they have sitting area outside. Great for families. read more

My boyfriend and I found this place driving from a nearby park. We're both fans of a good ice cream scoop. ICE CREAM & WAFFLE: good taste over all. There's so many unique flavors and almost too many to make the best choice. It's good though, plenty of variety. The waffle cone had vanilla bean in it, pretty good. HOWEVER, it is too too sweet I mean too sweet. Everything else is good, but we won't go back since it's much too sweet. SERVICE: a redhead man was helping us. He was friendly but not very customer service oriented. No complaints though, I understand they're tired. I had no idea there was a location in Culver City. We just recently discovered the El Segundo place and were craving some vegan ice cream. Yelp showed this location so we headed over there. I love the outdoor seating located on the side of the building in a quiet neighborhood. The employee was so kind and gave nice suggestions along with sweet samples! This place is great! They have a lot of vegan options beyond just wherever like so many other places that claim to have vegan options. You also get big scoops! This just might become our go-to ice cream place. read more

Are you kidding me? The ice cream here is Michelin star worthy. Incredible! Fantastic! Delicious! I went in finally, after driving by a few times and googling the flavors they offer. I live in Redondo Beach, so the plan was to bring home pints. Banana chip. Say no more. My absolute favorite ice cream is banana. But it must taste like actual banana. Not syrupy pretend banana. REAL banana. No lies sold here. Handcrafted ice cream at its finest. I am not a vegan, but peanut butter is my second favorite. They have a vegan dark chocolate peanut butter cup. Again, say no more. Vegan "ice cream" usually just tastes like an icee. Not this one. Wow! It is chocolatey And creamy with lots of peanut butter swirled in. My husband is a mint chip fan. I like that it wasn't green in color. Perfect amount of mint flavor. He loved it. Very cute shop. I only tried the three flavors I purchased. Will definitely be back to try and buy more. Very expensive for pints, but if the quality is there, I do not mind spending the money. Totally worth it. I got a total of 3 pints that came in cute glass jars and they gave me a little "To Go" cold bag for the ride home. So cool! They also have cookies for ice cream sandwiches and plenty of pre packed pints in the freezers. Staff was super sweet and helpful. Can't wait to try more flavors next time. read more

Bonus because it sits better for those with lactose intolerance. I loved that you can sample flavours before deciding which one to buy. Shout out to their service for being so patient with people who are sampling. Lots to taste and everything is amazing! came here around 10:30pm on a Saturday night and it wasn't too busy (probably because it was a cold night), but the staff was soooo nice! They let me sample as many ice creams as I wanted and the selection of vegan flavors was amazing! Ended up getting a split scoop of billionaire brownie and milk and cookies and it was soooooo good! The scoops here are huge, so I could see myself sharing if I just needed a small treat to cap off the night! Parking wasn't so bad, but it is street parking so keep your eyes peeled! They also have plenty of outdoor seating around the corner to hangout if you want! read more

My lavender and honeycomb ice cream is delicious. I ordered a regular size and despite it was pricey, the portion was big. Beware of the honeycomb sticking hard to your teeth though. It is crunchy like cookie. Overall, this is a place I'd recommend friends to try. The cons are there isn't any parking. You can park in the Beverly Grove area though. Street parking is hard to find. The shop is also tiny and don't have enough places to sit. read more

All flavors are superb at Ginger's! Although the priciest of micro creameries, I truly believe they are the best. They use real chunks of honeycomb, brownies and berries in creamy churned bases of dairy or coconut milks. I usually get a pint and share, but this time this indulgence is just for me. This is a really cute handcrafted ice cream shop. There are a ton of very unique flavors and if I remember correctly, there is a very large selection of gluten free choices. I ordered through the app and was bummed to see a flavor sold out in pint form, but we decided to call and they were incredibly accommodating--they offered to pack fresh scoops into a pint for us. The Key Lime Pie flavor was very tart but delicious. The Lavender Honeycomb was one of the best lavender-honey ice creams we've ever had, with a wonderful crunch of honey throughout. Established in 2017.

Ginger and her supporters have been working to transform a classic Culver City house into a temple for ice cream for almost 3 years. We wanted to provide a home for not only great scoops, but unique pops, and the best cookies in the world ( we think so) .We are finally open and the joint is rocking. The owners, and their staff all live just a few blocks away. We hope you like our home, and our desserts as much as we do.

I have always loved to cook and bake and was born at heart a foodie. I owned a successful small clothing business for many years with my husband, and we both decided it was time to do what we really loved, making desserts that made children and adults really really happy. We planned and labored for three years to open an ice cream store in our hood, Culver City. We converted a classic Culver City home into an ice cream shop. We wanted to be different by providing ice cream and Divine Pops made on the premises. Also we offer great Vegan ice cream also.I want to build a local community, one scoop at a time.

We've tried the mango stinky rice sundae (must order), Thai tea lemonade- basically cha manaow (can skip), mango sticky rice drink (pretty good if you're looking for drink version of the sundae but can be off putting texture to some), Thai tea shaved ice (melted so fast so wasn't very enjoyable), pandan toast (a lil dry but good w gelato), & gelatos: mango (good staple), coconut milk butterfly pea (yummy/creamy perfect w mango sorbet), jasmine matcha (good choice), pandan milk (strong flavor creamy yummy), earl grey Thai tea (top 3), hojicha crunch (#1), & Thai tea coffee (eh ok just coffee). All the gelatos were shining stars it just depends on preference; very thick, flavorful, & creamy. I've tried 3x in the past 2 months but will be back for more~

This is the best matcha I've had in a long time. And that's saying a lot, because I've had matcha…read moreeverywhere. Earthy, rich, and not too sweet with an equally not too sweet foam to top off the drink was my Damo Hojicha latte. I rarely want to drink more when I've finished my matcha drink but this wasn't the case with my Damo drink. It's really delicious and I didn't want my experience to end. I might have to visit once more before heading home!

Matcha wasn't that good and neither was my latte. They weren't friendly at all and didn't feel very…read morewelcomed there either. The minimalistic decor was cool but I wouldn't go back there again. I also got two pastries that looked like little loafs but they were super dense and hard. Don't recommend.
