I love Salt and straw! I love trying their different and unique flavors! We tried the taco ice cream and it was great! I love the taste to it and the chocolate outside. Get the app to get points!

Came here after dinner because I'm a huge fan of Salt & Straw. We stopped by around 10pm and there were still tons of people lined up for ice cream. One thing that disappointed me a little was the seasonal flavor selection. Compared to some other Salt & Straw locations I've visited, this one only had one seasonal flavor available that night. I was hoping to try something new, so that was a bit of a letdown. One thing I do appreciate is that they let you sample as many flavors as you want. Unfortunately, I've already worked my way through most of the regular menu over the years, so there weren't many surprises left for me. I ended up getting the Olive Oil ice cream on a cone. It was delicious as always. Rich, creamy, and one of my favorite flavors they offer. Overall, it's still Salt & Straw, which means the ice cream is excellent. I just wish there had been more seasonal options available during my visit. I'll definitely be back, but hopefully next time there are a few more new flavors to try.

I had trouble figuring out my 70th birthday free double scoop Salt and Straw app. When I arrived in Culver City to pick up my cone, cashier Leslie said there was no record of my order. She very graciously and sweetly helped me figure out the app. Young people nowadays! I offered to tip her for her help, but she declined. I'll always remember her sweet personality and kindness!

I do think that Salt & Straw is the superior LA ice cream vendor. Especially in July when they have the birthday cake and blackberries flavor ( my favorite of all time). Service is quick, they encourage sampling, and the flavors taste so pure. There is no seating inside, but plenty outside in the promenade.

My go to OG flavor is the Salted, Malted chocolate chip! I saw they have a collab with Taco Bell for the limited time Choco Taco and I'm obsessed!!!!! So good. Must try!

I love Salt & Straw. We are fortunate enough to have a few locations back home in Arizona. I stumbled upon this location while driving through Culver City. Salt & Straw is a Portland based ice cream company that has really made a name for itself since its inception in 2011. Salt & Straw is known for their exotic ice cream flavors like Pear & Blue Cheese, Arbequina Olive Oil and Strawberry Honey Balsamic w/ Black Pepper. They are partially owned by film star and wrestler The Rock. Salt & Straw has their regular menu flavors, but also feature rotating ones throughout the year. I enjoyed coming here because Salt & Straw has flavors that are found only on the West Coast. I got to sample a couple new flavors while here. One thing that I have always enjoyed about Salt & Straw is that their stores are always clean and the customer service is great. They let you sample flavors if you can't decide on what to get. You can also grab a pint to go if you want to enjoy an evening on the couch with some Salt & Straw ice cream. I have tried a number of flavors now and have enjoyed each one of them. You can't go wrong with their signature Sea Salt w/ Caramel Ribbons. I grabbed a drink over at Philz Coffee next door to this store. Their coffee and my Wild-Foraged Berry Slab Pie Salt & Straw ice cream were the perfect combo.

Making a comeback to this favorite place as they came up with seasonal chocolate theme flavors. I went for the recommended top two by the attendant, Chocolate Gold Almond Bar and Cake Batter Chocolate Fudge. Both were so good in their own way, the first one was more caramelly while the later while certainly let the cake batter flavor shined. So creamy and delectable, as how Salt and Straw always has been! Thanks to the patient attendant, dealing with my dilemma and letting me trying different flavors before making up my mind. PS, they now offer brownie waffle, which honestly smelled so so so good and I would come back for.

i visited during weekday lunch hours, and it surprisingly wasn't busy (especially since it's been super hot!). i love that they allow samples, and their flavor ranges are so unique. i will say that the prices can be a little unreasonable, especially for ice cream, but it's nice to treat yourself once in a while. the shop itself has lots of space inside, and they have a few benches outside for seating. great option for ice cream in culver city!!

First time at Salt & Straw. Not the last time at Salt & Straw! Was having drinks after dinner and saw someone walking down the street with a cone. Decided that was the next stop in the night. I loved that S&S was open until 11p. Having a sweet treat spot that you can go to that late was awesome. Usually when I see this place the one is always long and now I know that's because the product is so good. Admittedly I didn't know the wide range of flavor options because I am pretty much a four flavor ice cream guy. I loved being able to sample all of the ice cream. The workers were very helpful and patient making suggestions based on what I usually like. I needed up going with the double vanilla and salted malted chocolate chip cookie dough double scoop in a cup. DELICIOUS. What a cool spot that I will be coming back to when it is actually hot outside next time.

I love visiting salt and straw at this location because the employees are always so accommodating with providing samples and they are so patient while I make up my mind about what I want. This location is very clean and the service is very quick. The ice cream is always delicious at salt and straw. Some of the flavors sound wild and out of the ordinary, but I'm never disappointed by my ice cream flavor choices. They know how to meld the flavors well to make delicious and unique flavors. The single scoop is generous and very filling, but my favorite is a split scoop because you get a generous portion of two flavors if you can't decide on just one.

Split flavored Cinnamon Snickerdoodle Apple and Cheddar Cinnamon Rolls really good!!

Thanks to Giovanni at salt and straw for recommending. Tried the Apple Cinnamon Snickerdoodle and Apples & Cheddar Cinnamon Roll flavors--both were incredibly creamy and full of fall flavor. The Apple Cinnamon Snickerdoodle had warm spice notes and chewy cookie bits that balanced perfectly with the rich ice cream base. The Apples & Cheddar Cinnamon Roll was surprisingly delicious--sweet, savory, and buttery with real chunks of cinnamon roll and a hint of sharp cheddar that actually worked! Salt & Straw always nails those creative combos. Definitely a must-try for the season!

Salt & Straw is a popular ice cream chain that offers unique and seasonal ice cream flavors. I have visited other locations in the past, but this was my first time visiting the downtown Culver City one. Came here on a Friday evening with a friend and there were people but no line. We were not greeted upon entering, but a staff member helped us pretty quickly. We were able to sample several flavors (mostly the seasonal ones) before we ordered. I ordered a small split scoop in a cup with Jack O' Lantern Pumpkin Bread and Cinnamon Snickerdoodle. The Pumpkin Bread had a good pumpkin flavor with chunks of pumpkin bread it in. It is a good choice if looking for a fall flavor. The Cinnamon Snickerdoodle tasted like the cookie in ice cream form. It was pretty sweet, but there was a good cinnamon flavor. Texture of both ice creams were smooth and creamy. Overall, giving Salt & Straw a 4/5. It's a good spot for getting some unique ice cream flavors, but it is on the pricey side. There aren't any tables inside, so it is a grab-and-go situation. However, it is located in a plaza with several seating options. Would come back to try other flavors in the future.

Every time I come here the workers are nice and patient when taking my order because sometimes I try new flavors and take a little longer to decide. But my favorite is definitely the Honeycomb! I love the combination of all its flavors. The creamy ice cream paired with the rich peanut butter, delicious brownie pieces, and sweet honeycomb creates the perfect bite. The peanut butter adds such a rich, smooth flavor, while the brownie gives you those decadent chocolatey bites, and the honeycomb adds a fun sweetness and texture. It's seriously so good that I usually take some to go. The Culver City location is small, but I actually like that it feels more like a quick, casual stop. They have a little seating area outside where you can sit down and enjoy your ice cream. I usually sit there with my doggie Lola. Afterward, you can walk around and do some shopping at the really cool stores surrounding the shop, which makes it a fun little outing rather than just grabbing ice cream and leaving. Parking is also pretty convenient. There's a parking structure right across the street, and it's usually around $2 to park, which is a nice bonus for the area

This is not to say I dislike the Salt & Straw's and Wanderlust's of the world, but they don't hold a candle to the well-rounded experience ice cream-goers are provided with at Ginger's Divine Ice Creams in Culver City. First, the ice cream. Every time I visit with my brother and order my usual (shout-out to the Butterscotch Oreos and Fudge!), I am ALWAYS provided the most generous of scoops, often more than enough to have leftovers for days following. The rich, smooth, and creamy texture paired with the familiar yet refined flavor profiles never fails to leave me satisfied and smiling :) However, my affinity for the sweet treats served at this establishment means NOTHING without the team-members that make Ginger's what it is. The team here is consistently warm and welcoming, never failing to ensure every visit is equal parts helpful and hospitable. Like I wrote above, I often come here with my brother, but it's the team and their positive vibes that make it feel like home. In closing, this parlor is WITHOUT A SHADOW OF A DOUBT the best in the West (Los Angeles area), and I won't hesitate to continue supporting this quality establishment

And while everyone is just now discovering Salt & Straw (which btw, I've been on since the Abbot Kinney opening days lol)...Ginger's is one of those spots that just feels way more like a neighborhood favorite. I've gone through phases with the flavors too. Billionaire Brownie is a great place to start, but once you become a regular like me, you start getting creative My personal move right now is vanilla with almonds + caramel on top, with a warmed-up brownie on the side. And if I'm taking a break from the brownie...SHEESH. The chocolate chip cookie is so good!! But the biggest thing for me is the staff. Every time I walk through the doors, it genuinely feels like I'm seeing friends. Everybody says what's up, remembers you, jokes around with you..it just feels good being there. Shoutout to Malaika for making my order today!! Got to hear about what she's studying in college too, and I'm genuinely bummed she's leaving in a month And Jeffrey deserves a shoutout too because that dude is hilarious. He's always cracking me up whenever I roll through. The whole team is so dope that I've literally dropped off complimentary Equinox passes for them before and will absolutely do it again. If I REALLY had to nitpick, my only request would be some music around the outdoor seating area. That's literally it. Anyway, I've been here way too many times to not finally leave a review Ginger's is a real gem.
