    Huevos Rancheros and Tacos.

By far my go to since I've lived here in Denver. Took me a while to write a review so this is long overdue. Located in Commerce City, this place is a staple within the community. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is always hopping especially on the weekend because the vibe is that good.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Full bar with excellent menu choices for food. Wonderful staff and very efficient with the service. I will always recommend this place to anyone and everyone when they visit Denver. Enjoy!

A Mess of Hot Sauce on my Take Out Container, which I haven't eaten yet

I really wish you'd get some different takeout containers because the Styrofoam ones leak so today when I went in and I got my chimichanga and you put it into a plastic bag which I appreciated the container leaked out into the plastic bag so I'm losing some delicious part of my food into a plastic bag. Your food is delicious. Your hostesses and waitresses are wonderful. You are a fabulous restaurant for Mexican food, but please please please change your takeout containers so you don't end up having customers leaking their food into the plastic bag.

Really good Mexican food! The fried chili rolenos were great and the green chili was near perfect. Service was prompt and friendly. I'll definitely be back.

Stopped into El Jardin looking for some good, not fancy, Mexican food. And we found it! Very friendly host greeted us and seated us immediately, even though the parking lot was full. I had the small combination of cheese enchilada, bean tostado, then requested a side of beans instead of the taco that normally comes with it. Husband had the Santa Fe Chicken Skillet -- who declared it should be illegal it was so good. Ate every bite of it. Definitely will be returning to try some of their other offerings.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance - 5 very pretty and excellent music[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Pozole - 4 personal preference, the meat was chopped really small and I like chunks. I also wish there was more caldo. I wanted some salsa for the pozole and they were going to charge me extra, so I passed. Otherwise, reasonable pricing. Service - 5 super fast and attentive

This is out of our way, but we make a trip to come here every so often. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We love the ambiance of thelis place it is home and spacious doesn't feel like you are sitting right in top of the next table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service is always great from when you walk in to the servers. The food let's just say I haven't had anything I haven't loved. One of my guests always gets a stuffed sopapilla with pulled pork which is smoked she loves it, my other guest goes for a chicken burrito he loves them so much sometimes he orders 2, I have had the pork carnitas burrito, the supreme burrito, and I have had my all-time favorite bacon breakfast burrito. The salsa and chips are always great I feel the chips are always fresh. Strawberry margaritas are a go to for me. We will be back time and time again as long as you keep up the great work.

    Steak and fries

Yummy and tasteful! Parking lot available on site but it might get full. Friendly hosts and they sat our party of six quickly. We also went around 12PM on a Friday. I got a steak and fries. Steak was cooked to my liking and I thought was tasty! I got two sides and I chose fries for both. Fries were crispy and seasoned well! I'd never had a sopapilla till now so I was glad I got to try it hot and fresh! So light weight and fluffy! Drizzling honey on top was so yummy! I want to go back just for the sopapillas!

Actual receipt of green chile charged at $3.25 for a melted margarine packet.

Reclaimed metal sheet walls, concrete floor, a nice looking bar and good 80s/90s music piping in. The menu offers many taco options, which you purchase a la carte. I took a risk and got the ahi tuna taco, and a steak fajita taco. Both were good - but I was most impressed with the Ahi. It was better than the sushi I have had at a sushi restaurant since moving here to CO. Nice Asian sauce with sesame seeds throughout. Super good. It's light, though. It is in a butter lettuce "taco shell", but honestly I think putting it in a true corn or flour tortilla just would not mesh well. The service was very very pleasant and attentive. We even had to move a couple times because our party number kept changing, and she was as pleasant as can be. I look forward to heading back and trying something else. Co-workers tell me you really can't have a bad taco there, and I think I might challenge that notion and find out for myself! Cheers!

A Denver Gem: State House (Commerce City) If you find…read moreyourself near the northern edge of Denver, State House in Commerce City is an absolute must-visit. It has that perfect "rustic-chic" Colorado vibe--warm, wood-accented, and welcoming--making it just as good for a casual lunch as it is for a weekend dinner. The Burger Battle * Bison Burger: This was the star of the show. It's lean but incredibly juicy, with a deep, rich flavor that puts standard beef to shame. * Pro Tip: Pairing it with the tomato bisque instead of fries was a game-changer. The soup was creamy, vibrant, and had a slight sweetness that cut through the richness of the bison perfectly. * Pub Burger: A classic done right. Two patties, perfectly seared, with a side dijonnaise that adds just the right amount of kick. It's everything a pub burger should be--messy in the best way possible. The side garden salad was surprisingly fresh and crisp, providing a nice light balance to the heavy-hitter burger. The Atmosphere & Service The space is beautiful--modern design meets local charm. We were particularly impressed by the service; the staff was attentive without being overbearing, and you can tell they take pride in the locally sourced ingredients they're serving. The Verdict Whether you're a fan of wild game like the bison or you just want a solid, high-quality cheeseburger, State House hits the mark. It's rare to find a place where the "side" soup is just as memorable as the main course, but that tomato bisque is worth the trip alone. I'll definitely be back for another round of that bison burger!
