It wasn't the typical warm spicy green sauce. It was a red, more oily like sauce. It was good but not what I expected. On the menu it also said that they had cheese with it, which is typically like a bread cheese and all the other restaurants I've ever had this at do, but they did not have any at this one even though it was on the menu. They did give you plenty of quail in it. The beans that came with it were awesome and they give you a whole bowl not a tiny cup. So we were full when But I didn't care for the sausage either or the cuts of meat so all in all I probably wouldn't order the molcajete from here again but their chips and salsa are good. They're guacamole was great and you can't beat the service. Plus they have free ice cream when you're done and they flavor it vanilla and strawberry, which was awesome.
