best carne asada tacos in the valley (super flavorful meat and they crisp the outside corn tortilla perfectly). Delicious salsas and substantial burritos. Very friendly service, on of the very best spots for takeout Mexican food. Great prices too. Big fan!~

The breakfast burrito from EL JR Tacos is outstanding! Wrapped perfectly in a warm tortilla, it is absolutely packed with fresh, flavorful ingredients like eggs, potatoes, and savory meats. Every bite offers the perfect balance of textures and authentic taste. It is an incredibly filling, delicious, and satisfying breakfast option that keeps you coming back for more.

DAAAAANGGGG THIS PLACE IS SO GOOD!!! I am in trouble working near this place from now on! Was leaving the area and wanted a nice burrito and this places popped up, I always appreciate an oddly located restaurant. Well I got the carne asada burrito to go and ate it in my car and MAN IT WAS SO GOOD! First off this is was BIG heavy and beautiful, the tortilla was crisped up perfectly on the griddle and it picked up some crispy cheese cause I had some surprise cheese crust bites. The meat was tasty the cheese was PERFECT the beans and onion and cilantro. I mean my god this is a perfect burrito. My only regret was eating while driving and not trying their salsa, next time! I ended up spilling my entire water bottle in my lap while driving and drove an hour and a half soaking wet and was still so dang happy because that burrito. COME HERE!

We went El Jr Tacos based on reviewes. It is in a quiet part of town, very nice and clean. It is inside of a very nice liquor store that is very well stocked. You go in and place your order, then pay at the liquor store counter. We ordered bean and cheese burritos, I was told many years ago, if a place can't make a good bean and cheese then it probably can't make much of anything else and these folks make a killer bean and cheese burrito! Very large and tasty their salsas are also really good! We can't wait to try more of what they have to offer! The place is really nice, clean and cute. Jr. and his wife? Are super nice and told us about other things like the farmers market on Thursdays to do in the area. We will definitely be back! Also the burrito was even better the next day!!

After a quick Yelp search, we found this spot. Once we arrived, finding street parking was tricky but not impossible! We had a reservation and were seated almost immediately. Definitely get a reservation if you are planning to go here. They have indoor and outdoor patio seating. We decided to sit inside. Being a vegetarian, I'm always on the lookout for interesting innovative food items. They had a vegan tamale and a veggie enchilada, stuffed with interesting list of vegetables. I decided to give those a shot. The tamales came out relatively quickly. The presentation was 10/10. The flavor profile was amazing. It was interesting to see the choice of vegetables. Overall, I loved the dish. The enchiladas came out quickly too. Again, the presentation was 10/10. It also came with a side of rice. The rice was surprisingly flavorful and tasty. The enchiladas were stuffed with delicious vegetables. I did request the cheese on side. Overall, we loved both the dishes. To celebrate our anniversary, they brought out a coconut cream ice cream. It was delicious and topped with fresh berries ! I highly recommend checking out this restaurant , you won't be disappointed!

We honestly felt like we paid full size prices for kid size meals and left still hungry. We had another appointment immediately afterward, so we didn't have time to order anything else, which made it even more disappointing. We've been to the Azusa location, and the difference in portion sizes is surprising! The servings there are easily 2-3 times the amount. For what we paid in Palm Springs, we definitely expected more. The food itself was enjoyable, but the value and portion sizes really missed the mark for us.

We stopped by around 3 p.m. on a Wednesday and sat at the bar. It wasn't too busy, which made for a relaxing experience. They definitely don't skimp on the portions. Everything is generously sized and perfect for sharing. I especially loved the salsa that came with the taquitos dorados, and the birria was incredibly tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The birria tacos and taquito dorados were easily my favorite and something I'd absolutely order again. Of course, I had to try a few of their margaritas! I sampled the Classic Felipe, Jamaica, and Guava margaritas. The guava margarita was hands down my favorite. Overall, it's a great spot with delicious food, refreshing drinks, generous portions, and excellent happy hour deals. Be sure to check out their happy hour menu, you won't be disappointed!

We tipped him based on his service, not the server's lack of it. What crossed the line was the manager coming out after the bill was paid to ask for more money for the server who didn't lift a finger for our table. The only positive is the decor,it's nice and has a cool Polynesian/mid-century vibe. That's where anything good ends. The service was terrible. We asked about specials as first-time customers, and our waitress conveniently failed to mention the Taco Tuesday deal. Instead, she rushed us to order. We later realized we ordered multiple taco plates that should have qualified for the special, but she never said a word. The food was even worse. I ordered fajitas, and what I was served was completely unacceptable,no vegetables, no resemblance to fajitas, just chopped chicken covered in chorizo and tomato sauce. It was disgusting. I took one bite and couldn't eat it. I planned to send it back, but the waitress disappeared and never came back to the table. I was stuck with it and only ate the sides, which tasted like reheated frozen vegetables and a small cup of beans. Despite barely touching the food and not receiving what I ordered, I was still charged as if everything was fine, about $22 for a plate I couldn't eat. When I finally addressed it, she insisted it was "fajitas," which is honestly ridiculous. To top it off, when my husband asked for a box, the waitress came back after handling cash and used her bare hands, with long acrylic nails,to grab his taco and put it in the container. That is completely unsanitary and unacceptable. Bad service, disgusting food, and poor hygiene. I will not be returning and will be reporting this place to the health department. Avoid this place. Warning Positive reviews are obviously coming from ownership friends.
