Honestly the service is a good enough reason to not come here. Besides the fact that when you walk it's almost like you're walking into a dirty motel, the food is at best average but is not served warm at all. Sat at dirty and sticky tables and did not get serviced at all. Did not get checked on or anything. I'm a server myself and would never treat a table the way they treated their tables at this location. One of the worst dining experiences. The staffing does not seem to how to server their customers. We were told one dish would take 45 minutes (So two members of our party changed their orders to something already made as we had a small child in the party as well. Server had to come back and confirm our order (did you not just wright it down) 45 mins later 3 family's served same food we had ordered. When asked about the time waitresses very rudely expressed we were told it would take 45 mins (no we weren't that's why two of our members changed their order) they forgot about our order. Horrible customer service. My friends & I drove from Boston to try this restaurant.. but we were told that it was going to take more than an hour to get our food. Restaurant was pretty much empty, waitress told us that they have received bunch of mobile orders. We asked our waitress if we could order some appetizers while we wait for our food and she said that it was going to take more than an hour for appetizers as well. There is no way it takes more than an hour to put some hummus and bread on the plate. The grilled meats, kibbeh, and whole chicken are particularly excellent: the marinades are spot on (especially for the shish tawook/chicken skewers), and the cinnamon- and seven spice-heavy rub on the whole chicken is delectable. I was craving lamb, so we found this place and decided to go. We walked in, there was no one working outside. It was open because there werE two other customers eating. So we waiting for upto 5min before someone came out and told us to sit anywhere we want. He then came back 5min later asking if we were ready to order. We told him we did not get the menus yet! Once we got the menus and were ready to order, he said they don't have schwarma, this eliminated 1/3rd of the menu. At which point my husband ordered fried chicken and I ordered lamb with rice. My husbands fried chicken was definitely microwaved, as it was cold inside!! Then they start drilling very loudly and banging at the back! Sure would like to know what the food is like. For 3 weekends (Friday and Saturday) each weekend, we have tried to order from this place. We have called the two provided numbers multiple times, with one number the phone ringing forever with no answer or a busy signal and other number going to voicemail. The first weekend we called, kept getting no answer, busy signal or voicemail so just went over, but we were told, about 7 pm, they weren't taking orders because they were backed up, try again in an hour. We left. We tried again the next day but the same with no answer, busyness voicemail. We ordered elsewhere. The next weekend, same thing...tried Friday and Saturday by phone, couldn't talk to anyone. This third weekend. Last night they said they were all out of lamb shwarma meat when we called about 4 p.m. (shwarma meat seems fundamental and was surprised they had none). This after several tries to get through. We just called again today, Saturday, about 4:30, had to call several times with the same ringing with no answer, busy or voicemail. After 8 attempts got through and was told there was neither chicken or lamb shwarma meat. I feel pretty done with this place without ever having eaten there. read more

Let me start out by saying the food we ended up with was amazing. However, we wish we had researched more before eating there. We went for our anniversary on a Saturday night. We called to make reservations but they said if we came at 6pm it would be fine. We were seated right away. We sat in the non-smoking area which wasn't non-smoking at all - there was a party of about 8 men next to us that were playing cards with hookahs. This doesn't bother us, but it might bother others (even though it *is* a hookah joint). The server looked to be in his young teens. It took about 15 minutes until he took our order. Then they were out of just about everything we tried to order, and some items he would just say aren't good. ??? Kinda weird. So we went with what was available and also ordered a couple of sodas and a hummus plate to start. Then he disappeared. About 45 minutes after ordering, we tracked him down and asked if we could at least get our sodas. 15 minutes later, he brought them. A few minutes after that he brought the hummus but no small plates to eat on, no napkins, no silverware - just the plate of really delicious hummus and pita. We grabbed a box of Kleenex from a nearby table to use instead. As it was just about 2 hours since we ordered, we asked if we could just get the food to-go since I couldn't imagine needing to ask him for anything during the meal since we'd only glimpse him once every 30 minutes or so. We brought the meal home and as I said before, the food was divine. After chatting with other people who have been there, we learned the drill - Order way ahead of time, don't expect good service, and eat great food.
