Came in for a girls dinner. The burrata was AMAZING. Possibly one of the best we've ever had! Everything else was decent. My steak was a good size but had a tendon down the middle which made it a little hard to cut. Overall I'd come back again!

Wow! We LOVED this new spot!!! I brought my family and literally we all walked out saying how we can't wait to come back! My teenagers can be picky, but Thermia hit on every level for them! First - it's so easy to get to and with a huge parking lot - which is always a plus in PVD! The exterior is modern industrial and upscale. The inside is intimate without being intimidating. The service was attentive, super friendly, and funny! Now let's talk about the food! We started with the rib corn. This was different but really good! I wasn't exactly sure how to eat it until I realized it was like a rib! Lol! I thought I could cut into it - but no, you eat it with your hands! We all got the OG chicken - my children got the truffle fries, while we had the roasted potatoes. Wow! This was anything but basic! Perfectly roasted chicken and potatoes, and apparently perfect truffle fries! (I know I'm the only non-fan of truffle fries on the planet - so I can't say for sure! LOL) For sides we got the carrots and zucchini! The carrots - again - WOW - so fun with the hazelnuts - we all raved about these!!!! We like the zucchini but weren't overly jazzed with the sauce - but still enjoyed them. Despite having eaten so much good stuff - we made room for the Dubai cookie! It was chock full of kadif - which my daughter was so happy about! All and all - everyone gave it 5/5 stars! We will be back!!! And thank you for such a great Yelp experience!!

Saw Thermia on Instagram and decided to give it a try with my Mom and Sis....Being a Yelper, I went with the OG Chicken, Calamari as an Appetizer and Sticky Toffee Dessert. All the food was tasty but the standout to me was Dessert and I'm NOT a Dessert Guy. The Decor was Hip and the Service was friendly. I give it a 4.3 overall, definitely worth your time! Check out Thermia when you have a chance...

Seeing a menu heavily revolving around rotisserie chicken inherently scares me. Like a lot. Nightmares of dry, overcooked chicken being masticated beyond what my jaw is capable of handling is haunting. Typically avoided. Let me be clear, that is not the case here. In fact, you could argue that this is the most moist, deeply flavored rotisserie chicken you or I have ever had. Or might ever have. And I mean that. They brine and air chill these puppies (chickens) for 48-72 hours. And something during that process creates a chicken experience you didn't know you needed to have. I won't spoil how incredibly awesome it was, but you need to try it for yourself. The truffle chicken was one of the most amazing pieces of fowl I've ever had. Actually, there isn't a bad thing on the menu, and I had quite a few items. From the roasted potatoes, to the brussel sprouts (should be illegal how good they are), to the corn ribs and shrimp, to the toffee pudding, you can't go wrong. There's no combination of food you'll regret. The only regret I have is knowing they make that toffee pudding in house and I now know the location of where to get it. The service is phenomenal and the vibe speaks quietly sophisticated, but laid back. On another note, it's often hard for me to find a place to go out to eat being a competitive body builder. This spot, on top of being an insatiable haunt, actually meets a lot of the health and macro /food requirements I have when I go out. I didn't feel any panic or indecisiveness on decisions because the food is all clean (okay the dessert was a cheat, but you wouldn't be able to resist either). Worth the time to stop in and have a meal. You're severely missing out if you don't.

My plus one and I, about to enjoy our date night: Thermia x Yelp
    Helga M.

Thermia + Yelp Date Night: What a treat this entire experience was. Love the location--Rising Sun Mills. The place has a charming and classy vibe, the service was attentive and very friendly (the servers all seem happy to be there), the menu is divine, the drink selections are well curated, uniquely crafted in the case of cocktails, and ample. Now the taste test...wow. Each dish is scrumptious and really flavorful yet presented and plated in a delectable manner. Nothing overdone here or overflowing. We especially appreciated the generosity in what our date night included. We relished the experience much that we opted to order shared dessert and coffee. That dessert--Sticky Toffee Pudding--is bomb. Absolutely worth its weight in calories. Are we coming back? That is for certain! I already told 10 friends how amazing this place is.

5 stars all the way around!! Tons of parking, service was great, the establishment itself is beautiful inside. The tomato bread was out of this world. Prosecco spritz and machine gun drink were yummy. We got the steak frites and au poivre chicken. Oh my goodness so delicious. The steak was a little overcooked but still delicious! Brussels sprouts were indescribable! We will 100% be back!

Loved Thermia! I visited on a Thursday night for a friend's birthday - we reserved for 8 PM and were seated right away. The restaurant ambiance itself is very cozy and intimate. Loved the lighting and artwork on the walls. They unfortunately ran out of their speciality rotisserie chicken for the night, so we ordered their branzino & caesar salad. Both were delicious! Fresh anchovies on the caesar. The branzino was deboned - not too salty and the olives and red peppers complimented it very well. We finished the meal off with their dubai chocolate mochi dessert - super good. Staff was super friendly. Their other menu entree dishes also sounded divine. I'd definitely return!

Absolutely unreal. 10/10 on all fronts. Can't wait to come back!!! There's easy parking, the food is amazing, service is fabulous, decor makes it the cutest little restaurant. I am already booking when to come back with friends. We got the OG chicken and I can't wait to try the others next time. These may have been the best brussel sprouts in the state. You guys rock.

Service & ambiance 10/10. Food was good. Dessert was good too. My family loved the Dubai chocolate dessert.

We had a really impressive dinner at Thermia. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive, ready for questions and happy to provide suggestions. We started with a glass of red (the Rioja) and the Strawberry Collins. For appetizers we did the calamari and the grilled octopus. The octopus was incredibly tender and paired well with the couscous/sauce that it was served on. For our main we split the OG chicken with roasted potatoes and a side of brussels. The brussels sprouts were delicious - a great roasted char to them and tossed in a really nice sauce/dressing with a great kick, flavorful but not overpowering. The chicken was juicy and flavorful and the roasted potatoes were crispy and flavorful, served in the juices/gravy of the chicken. Would highly recommend Thermia for dinner and will definitely be returning.

Came here as a guest for the Yelp Elite Date Night event. Recently opened, and Thermia came through. The truffle dijon chicken was excellent, though I might have preferred just a little more sauce on the dish. HIGHLY recommended is the machine gun cocktail. It was seriously one of the best cocktails I've had in a long time. The staff was super attentive and you can tell that they take a lot of pride in their work. Definitely check out this new addition to the Providence food scene

We were immediately greeted when we entered and seated. We went during the middle of the day so we're actually the only ones in the restaurant which felt very special honestly. For drinks my fiancé ordered an Irish coffee which was perfectly made and not too sweet and I ordered an expresso martini which I really enjoyed. For starters I ordered oysters which tasted so crisp and refreshing! I loved the garnishes as well! The mignonette was a delicious, with tons of flavor. It was tangy, citrusy and sweet while the horseradish + hot sauce carried a powerful kick. I truly loved the flavor profile! For our meals he ordered the clam chowder which was pretty yummy and the steak and eggs which was pretty decent he enjoyed the potatoes most. I kept my New England vibe going pretty strong and ordered a lobster roll with a side of fries. I will say I wasn't the biggest fan one the unfortunately. The fries were very crunchy almost like cooked in old oil and the lobster roll was a little too buttery for my liking. Our waiter was excellent and really made sure to check on us several times throughout our meal. Given, the overall ambiance and the delicious oysters and drinks I'd say this would be a nice restaurant to stop by for afternoon drinks or maybe even dinner. We were looking forward to trying the crab cakes but only available during dinner time.

There are quite a few parks and places to sit outside for free. DePasquale Square is a nice place to hang out, even if you're not eating at one of the restaurants. There is a lot of outdoor art work, like murals and sculptures to look at. Overall, a great place to visit while in Providence.

The Federal Hill Commerce Association welcomes sponsors and vendors for the festival. There is live entertainment in various locations along the avenue and vendors from Federal Hill and from neighboring towns. Also, on Saturdays in the summer from 5 p.m.-12 a.m., restaurant seating expands onto the street called Al Fresco on the Hill. I also did the Crime and Cuisine on Federal Hill hosted by Providence Tour Company. The tour stops at restaurants in Federal Hill and talks about some historic characters who dabbled on the wrong side of the law. Federal Hill is definitely worth a visit.

The venue is reasonably large, the seats are comfortable, the service has been very good (and it was excellent today), and they have a large humidor for anyone arriving empty-handed. That said, this isn't a place I'd choose strictly for dinner unless the ambiance of lingering cigar smoke is part of the draw (pun intended). In warmer months, the large outdoor deck along the water is a really nice spot. So if you're into cigars or hookah and live in the area, this might be your place too. Given how rare cigar-friendly venues have become, I'm bumping this up to a five-star rating. Tip: Beware of the sidewalks on this street.
