My son and I went for lunch today and are already talking about what our next bowl will be when we go back! It was so fresh and felt completely guilt-free. Super satisfying and you can be as creative with your meal as you want or choose one of their standard recipes. I had a diet Mexican cola which was sooo tasty and my son had a cucumber mint lemonade which was absolutely delicious. My bowl looks messy but I tell you what - it was the bomb. Rating: 3.8 Tried the place once for work lunch but decided to come back to try it in the actual store. It's a chain restaurant similar to chipotle but with healthier and Mediterranean options. Came to the Warwick location in the plaza along with other restaurants. Plenty of parkings are available but the place is located on far end near construction so was a little difficult to locate initially. Inside is good size with some seatings and a line to place your order. Outside seatings are also available. It was somewhat busy when we came. We lined up to place an order. I got a bowl with saffron basmati rice, harissa honey chicken, cucumber sauce, hummus, some veggies and topped off with garlic and lemon herb dressing. We also got harissa pita chip as well. The food was good as I remembered. Great seasonings, spice and flavors that are different from other similar chains. Its also nice that they have healthier option. They do have a-lot of options so it may be best if you look through and figure out what you want before you go place the order. The harissa pita chips were also pretty good. Nice and crunchy and a bit of spice and seasonings paired well. It was a but stale/cold but was not too bad. Service can be a hit or miss. It was busy so the staff weren't too patient to let my partner pick what she wanted as it was her first time here. She felt rushed and was not happy with their service. It would be nicer to be a bit more friendlier and kind to those that need more time. Service can be definitely better and would be nice to see improvements next time. Overall I do like the place and would come back but may choose ordering a head or figure out what I want before ordering. Price is also on a higher side especially if you don't maximize the toppings. I think it's a solid place and alternative to other healthy bowl options. read more

The food! Ordered a build your own bowl and I enjoyed the flavors and options. All the ingredients and calories are written in the glass, with description and notes of its vegan or gluten free~ very customizable and unique flavors. My first time eating experience was pleasant. Pita chips were crunchy! We weren't ordered the sauces it comes with. Didn't get a chance to ask since the cashier moved on the next customer right away. The services needs to be reviewed separately because I didn't have the best experience. They weren't necessarily overtly rude. They were just dismissive. I was questioned about my base, a staff walked away from my bowl without a "this member will help you next", and we were looking at eachother awkwardly. They just seemed like they didn't want to there today. Also ordered pita chips, and I didn't like how it was placed on the counter, exposing part of the chip to a daily touched counter. It just could've been done in a more sanitary way. Maybe ordering via app would be more convenient then interacting with staff. read more

Newly opened Mediterranean build your own bowl or off menu place in the area. Love the concept and the food. They're off to a rocky start with the folks on the line who seemed a little off kilter when adding toppings and such. Rounding up from 3.5 stars because there's definitely potential once the crew is more comfortable. The bright and cheery interior is well lit and spotless. Prices were reasonable and the options were plentiful. The access to parking is a little tricky off busy Centerville road so I'd recommend going into the main entrance for the shopping plaza at the light and finding your way to the small parking area. I'll definitely give them another try. read more

I tried to visit this spot a few days ago, but when I arrived, there was a handwritten note on the door saying they had to close early due to "the systems being down." Not a big deal--I understand things happen--so I decided to come back a few days later. When I returned, the place was packed. The first challenge was the menu setup--it starts at the very front of the food line, so if you're in line (like I was), it's almost impossible to read or understand what you're about to order. Once I got to the front, all I could really see was "Make Your Own Bowl" with minimal explanation of what that actually includes. The first person behind the counter looked incredibly overwhelmed--like she was on the verge of a panic attack. I felt awful for her. She didn't even ask me what I wanted, so I said "I will order the greens and grains," to which she abruptly asked, "which ones?" and pointed at options I hadn't seen or read about. The lack of clear labeling and descriptions--especially for things like dressings--made ordering really confusing. I ended up with arugula, white rice, falafel, roasted veggies, and almost every topping, with garlic dressing and harissa pita on the side. Taste-wise, it wasn't bad. But the falafel was cold and chewy, like it had been microwaved. The garlic dressing was warm, which worried me since it was sitting in a cold holding station that clearly wasn't working properly. That concern grew when I grabbed a drink from the cooler up front and it, too, was warm. It's clear they're extremely understaffed, which caused everything--from service to cleanliness--to suffer. The place was a mess. Food on the floor and countertops. I truly felt bad for every employee working that day. They were doing the best they could in a high-stress situation. While the food had potential, the overall experience was just too chaotic. Giving two stars here mainly for the flavor--but everything else really missed the mark. I'm hoping these are just growing pains from being a new business. I'll give it another try in a month or two, once things (hopefully) settle down. read more

The cava in Cranston on chapel hill is so much better so much more fresh that's where you should go to get the real true cava experience. It was our first visit to Cava and Julian gave my husband and I the best customer service. He talked us through the menu and made sure we had a delightful experience. He even treated us to free drinks so we could try out their homemade juices they make fresh every morning. I had the falafel crunch bowl with a blueberry lavender drink. Five stars. read more

I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at the Warwick location. The food was completely burnt and honestly inedible. My 70-year-old client and I were both shocked at the quality -- we couldn't even finish it. What made it worse was the way we were treated. The staff were very rude and made us feel uncomfortable and judged simply because we ordered a kids meal instead of a bowl. No customer should feel looked down on for their order choice. Between the burnt food and the disrespectful service, this was one of the worst dining experiences I've had. I would not recommend this location, and I hope management addresses both the food quality and customer service issues. read more

This place seemed like a hot mess. The line to get food was long and moved slowly. The workers did not seem to know what they were doing. One guy started out order, began making my dad's wrap, then left and switched with another guy. My dad swears that the first guy dropped the knife he was using on the floor, picked it up, continued spreading something on my dad's wrap, and then put it in the dirty pile. I hope my dad was wrong. They have all of these cards with the instructions to make the menu items, but they still seemed confused. I asked for avocado on mine, the guy said they were out, then another employee brought one over. He began cutting the avocado against his dirty shirt and plopped it right into my bowl. There was a billion people working there and all of them seemed terribly confused. We recently tried for first time had been wanting to as I love Mediterranean food. It was very crowded and loud very loud! Waited in long line to order. Very confusing set up to say the least. People serving food seemed confused. We wanted chicken and we were told they ran out and would have to 20 mins. we got Greek salad and steak and feta on pita. The salad was just ok everything chopped up so small. Had better bowls. The steak was not that tender cut into cubed pieces. Hard to chew in sandwich when you took a bite. The bread got soggy too much hummus and Tzatziki sauce was dripping out of sandwich. Needless to say will not be returning again! read more

Every single person I've ever interacted with here always seems like they don't know that they even work there. First off I never write reviews complaining, but... Went to the Cava in Smithfield and it was pretty good so I stopped at the one in Warwick for lunch. I placed a digital drive thru order and it said the order would be ready at 12:45. I pulled into the empty drive thru line and up to the window. No one opened the window until 12:51. Told me they were still working on it so it would be 5 minutes. Fair enough. At 12:57 a different woman opened the window to say they're still working on it and asked me to drive back around the building. To which I replied calmly "and go sit behind this big line of cars now?" She didn't say anything and shut the window and walked away. Came back at 1:04 to give me my food. No apology for running 19 minutes late. Just a softly muttered "have a nice day". I look at the food and it looks like it was in a car accident. Chicken was cold but the spit was warm (I just assume they spit in it). So I guess I'm the A-hole for not wanting to go around and sit behind 8 more cars. Don't go here. read more

During the day this place is great; at night, obviously there is a different staff, and with that there are huge differences in experiences. I've been incorrectly overcharged the wrong amount a few times now during 2nd shift hours including this evening. Tonight, the staff member serving us did not change gloves to serve food after handling cash from the customer beforehand. The line for food was growing while one person served the counter, and another ran the drive through service; the others were on their phones for most of the 15-20 minutes we waited (start to finish). Besides the dining area, every work/food station was a mess from the customer's point of view. Food was running low in most containers, but alas, it was a few hours before close, so for that I can understand. I overheard some of the staff talking about some girl named Megan, guessing their manager, apparently she left poop on the seat of her store. And left it like that for someone else. They were talking about it a lot. It was the main joke all night. The GM has no control. You can tell the crew does whatever. The other manager Lexus was kissing and hugging on someone in the lobby. Her staff was stressed. They had a guy working the line with no gloves, playing music and FRYING CHICKEN! It was terrible in there. My order took 1 hour to get and I had only feta out of four other things I asked for.
