There's a certain criteria I follow when posting reviews. I just don't give out 5 stars to anyone but El Monte Collision Center blew me away! I turned in my car after the damages were evaluated by Infinity Insurance. That was on a Friday, May 5th. I turned in the car on May 7th. I only had to wait 2 and a half weeks for my car but when I got it back it looked brand new. Luis walked me to my car and went over everything they did. They put in new weather striping on the back window (they didn't have to do) and Luis saved my mom's memorial sticker. He said he saw it and knew it would be damaged once they took the car apart so he put a cover over the sticker and some tape! He didn't have to do that but he figured it meant a lot to me and he was right. I would have cried if it was missing as my mom's second anniversary of her death was at end of May. They matched the paint to my car to a T. He made sure the car was aligned right and that it was safe to drive. They cleaned the inside and cleaned my car so it looked nice and cleaned and the outside looked shiny. The extra, extra step came when I noticed there were burn marks on the back seat. I do not allow anyone to smoke in my car. These marked looked like torch marks not cigarette marks. I noticed them when I got home, I emailed Luis and he said he would get back to me after the holiday weekend. I got an email on Tuesday morning and asked if I could bring the car in. I took it at 8 am on Wednesday morning they took the seat out and had it ready for me by today in the morning. What was great about it was that they fixed the issue and cleaned the seats that had stains from the 1st accident I had when the workers ruined my seats and it was a brand new car. The back seats look brand new! I am so happy with their work and what's even better was that Luis kept me updated on my car. I didn't have to call every week. I would definitely recommend El Monte Collision Center to anyone. read more

And all of the positive feedback about this location proved true. The moment i stepped onto their premises, I was greeted by Nick. Who then politlely directed me inside. Where I then met Paula, their receptionist, and Luis, their manager. Everyone there was incredibly polite and genuinely wanted to assist me. The entire experience was top notch, they replaced my entire bummer, fixed my alignment and suspension. Luis was impeccable at keeping up to date with what was going on. Don't waste your time with these people. Initial visit for an estimate wasn't terrible, I had an appointment and they got to it quickly but the process took forever. Long, annoying story short... They didnt return multiple messages when I tried to bring my car back for repairs. When I did finally get a hold of someone she told me 3 different times that I didnt need an appointment, I just needed to be in before 5:30pm. When I got to the shop the next day at 5:10pm, after sitting in crazy bad traffic for an hour and a half (20 minutes of which was on Valley where I sat looking at the shop but couldn't legally get to it), no one was in the office. A guy walked in, looked like a mechanic, and was like "Everybody went home." No kidding, clown. Totally unprofessional, didn't try to help me in any way, didn't apologize... just basically "Too bad. We lied. But too bad for you. Ha ha." He couldn't have cared less. I wish MY company made enough money to be in a position to turn away customers. Superior Customer Service!! Let's face it, if you are coming to a Collision Center chances are you might already be in a somber mood. I was dreading taking my car in as I would not be getting a rental and I have had nightmare experiences at other similar type of businesses. Nonetheless I saw the reviews and decided to bring my car in. Right off the bat you are greeted with a very friendly and attentive staff. They go over a visual inspection of your car, draft up a quote and leave the rest to you. Once I decided to come in I told them my situation of not having a rental and they told me they'd schedule me in a way that could get me my car back ASAP. And indeed they delivered! I received my car even sooner than they told me which was a huge plus! It was even cleaned inside and out when I got it back. Super friendly staff, respond well to emails and questions. When it comes to customer service hands down this shop is 5 outta 5 they give u Dailey updates and pics of your car thru its process but as far as what I had done(rear bumper replaced and painted) the paint job was shotty theirs bumps and chips and even tho its lifetime warranty on paint I don't want to take back and wait another two weeks to get it repainted so that's why I'm giving this shop a 2 out of 5 read more

I was recently involved in an accident and my friend recommended El Monte collision. First of all, I soon as I walked in to this place I was greeted by 3 different people and I was like wow everybody is so friendly here. The job was done okay, not the best repair. They "fixed" my driver side fender but it wasn't really properly levelled. They also replaced my driver side light, and it also wasn't properly levelled, and finally. The paint job or clear coat was done somewhat messy ( got the orange peel affect). It's somewhat hard to tell on a picture but it's noticeable when I'm with in 3 feet of my car. My bumper started to pop out after a month of going there for "repairs", I would never go back there again! read more

I went there because I smashed the front end of my car about 6 months ago. Once I got enough money for the co-pay I brought my car back. They told me the repairs was going to take about 1 week and 1/2 to finish. To my surprise 4 days later my car was ready for pick up. They finished a week ahead of schedule!!! They called me right when they finished. Before all of this they were super friendly ! They made sure my visit was quick and easy! The staff was super friendly and patient especially when it came down my questions and concerns about my vehicle. Once I got to the shop they let me check it out to make sure I was happy about the repairs. To my surprise they fixed everything that I damaged in the accident to the point that they even washed the car and vacuumed the interior!! No complaints from me once so ever. Luis Rios and Paula are SO on top of everything at this collision center. Dealing with my insurance company has been a nightmare and they made this accident experience so much less painful.
