Con las manos ariba Sintura no esta sola Con un buen churro This is one of the best churros you can get in Mexico City and is authentic handmade fresh sweet goodness. From classic to filled churros they have great pricing and a great atmosphere. They have been around for many years making some of the cities best so so I recommend you stop by and give them a try. You won't regret it!
Easily the best churros I've had. They're hot, perfectly crisp yet soft inside and the sauces are perfect. The place itself is cute and has a balcony that overlooks a busy pedestrian street which is perfect for some people watching while you eat your churros. I'm a little was fond of the beverages (the coffee was very milky and the Jamaica Agua Fresca very sweet) but it's well worth it for those scrumptious churros!

El Moro, oh El Moro. I came for a churro, and I left in a committed relationship with the guava dipping sauce. The churro wasn't fresh outta the fryer this time but still solid. Now, let's talk about that guava dipping sauce. If I could legally marry a condiment, I'd be registering tomorrow. It's sweet, tangy, tropical--basically, it slaps harder than your tía when you say you're not hungry. The place itself is always sparkling clean, which is nice because it makes dropping sugar everywhere feel classy. There's music outside so you can pretend you're starring in a churro-themed rom-com while you eat. And the staff? Super friendly--like, "I'd invite them to my wedding" friendly. Pro tip: just buy the guava sauce solo and dip whatever you want in it. Cookies, fruit, your hopes and dreams--go wild. Would I go back? Absolutely.
We were walking past this little place and the line was out the door and down the block so we came back the following day to see what everyone was lining up for. It is a cute little place, bright and clean. The workers were friendly and service was relatively fast. We had a churro, a Mexican hot chocolate, and then some little churro ice cream sandwiches. They were all delicious!
Who doesn't love churros?! These churros were cooked with the perfect crunch and flavor. Kept it simple with churros sticks and dipping sauce. Got the chocolate, condensed milk & guava. I know guava isn't for everyone, but I thought it went well with the churros. Would love to come back to try the churro sandwiches and other menu items. Perfect treat on a nice day!

There are dips and sauces and ice cream sandwiches; I'm a purist. Churro with cinnamon sugar piping hot. We found this place on TikTok and decided to give it a try. There's outdoor seating bottom you order and the open upstairs has only seating. You can watch people walk by since it's in a busy shopping and restaurants area. The churros are made fresh and they had a lot of dips to pick from. The price was reasonable and the horchata overall it was good not the best but good.
I came here twice during my time in CDMX since it was that good. I ordered the Mexican chocolate and churros with cinnamon sugar. There's many different Mexican chocolate drinks including a lactose free option. The churros were fresh, long, and thin. The churros were also crispy on the outside but still chewy on the inside without being too doughy. The service could be better though. I struggled talking with the staff with my limited Spanish and they were not very kind to me. It was worth it though since the churros were that good.
Cute little churro shop. It wasn't the best I'd ever had, but they were good. Upstairs has a generous seating area and some seating overlooks the bustling street below. There are restrooms here as well to wash up afterwards. It's counter service, but upstairs we found that someone was roaming to take orders as well.

Definitely worth a visit, we stopped in on a Monday afternoon and it wasn't very busy. If you are planning to eat there you will have to go upstairs and grab a table or some seats. They give you a menu in both Spanish and English. Fun tip they have some seats overlooking a balcony and the street below. A nice view to people watch while you wait for and then enjoy your food.
Everyone told me to stop by here so when we got a little hungry from sightseeing, this was the opportunity to try it. I do like this location for the upstairs balcony to people watch. Opted for a bittersweet hot chocolate: perfect amount of bittersweet with bits of melted chocolate in it. We also tried the conseulitos which is a delicious concept. Better to stick with the chocolate as the vanilla and strawberry tasted too sweet. Yes there is more than one location which is helpful for a tourist in Roma who needs a break now so I don't have to go to centro.
We came here to try their vegan churros and they tasted like a churro should. This location has plenty of seating upstairs. The people working here were friendly. Overall, if you're looking for a solid vegan churro in CDMX, this is the spot (but it's a chain as well). read more
A local churro restaurant that sells coffee, hot chocolate and churros of course. I tried the cafe de ollo and Mexican hot chocolate, Both are different flavors and worth trying. Churros are good and pretty much the same as in California. There are multiple locations throughout the city. read more

El Moro is one of the best places to get a churro. We love how fresh they are and there is no holding back when they dip it into the brown sugar. The other nice treat is their Mexican Hot Chocolate. I find it better than other cafes as it is always perfect temperature and spicy (but not too spicy). In the couple of times that I have been there, the service isn't terribly great. There always seems to be confusion and takes longer than I would expect to serve pre-made churros and hot chocolate. In any event, this should not deter you from going. If you are ever in CDMX (or just connecting through MEX airport - there is a location there), do stop in for a wonderful treat. read more
Overhyped chain restaurant. Went on a weekday night after having dinner and on the way home stopped in to get some dessert but for one order of churros waited for 45minutes to an hour! They were out when we arrived so we were told there would be a wait but I've never waited that long for some churros. There were many others waiting too so I just relaxed thinking they would be worth the wait once they came out. They weren't. That's it, that's the review, hope your experience is better than mine! read more

this place is a chain, and i honestly hate going to chains, but when you go to CDMX, you MUST go to el moro. I've been here before, but not to this locations. I really like this location, as it seems newer and cleaner. What i loved most about this place is that they have a second story where if you're lucky enough, you can seat near the edge and people watch while enjoy churros and chocolate. I ended up getting the combo, of 4 churros and a white chocolate drink, and it was heavenly. Back in the states, i'm still thinking about it. They also have churro ice cream sandwiches, which i'll get next time when i come back to CDMX. read more

Service wasn't the friendliest, they didn't have frappes and the churro iced latte I got was actually awful! But the churros were good, as well as the dips and the milkshakes. read more

These churros are the best I've had outside Spain. They're the best I've had in Mexico and I'd have them any time. You can get individual churros or a bundle with hot chocolate. On that note, you can even get different kinds of hot chocolate ranging from more milk based to thicker like a Spanish style. There are no bad choices here. Order to go or order upstairs and enjoy a terrace. read more
I love churros and chocolate together. A good churro is supposed to be golden brown and crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I haven't had any good churros in the US anywhere. It's always been dry and hard and very sweet. My favorite ones are the ones I had in Spain but I was willing to give this place a try. And it did not disappoint. In fact, I came here almost everyday I was in CDMX since my hotel was only a 4-minute walk from El Moro. I would always get a pack of 4 churros and hot chocolate for 100 pesos = $5. Either Mexican hot chocolate or Spanish hot chocolate - one isn't better than the other. It's whatever I'm in the mood for. The ordering process is pretty simple even for me who barely speaks Spanish. You can get churros to-go or go upstairs to dine-in. If you're taking your food/drink to-go, there's an order line and when you're done paying for your order, show your ticket at the pick-up line. Watch them make your churros as you wait. They're open in the morning and late at night. I've tried getting a torta from here but they seem to never have it. read more
El Moro is a chain with locations all over the city. While I don't usually like going to chain restaurants, this place is tasty, and a great value. If you just want a plain churro, they are only 12 pesos. We didn't try the chocolate because we were not that hungry, but everyone says it's delicious read more

Soft, crispy, and warm churros, perfect for a late night snack or tea. I love dipping them in the chocolate dip or hot chocolate! While there is a line, it usually moves fast. It's definitely a must get snack in Mexico City! read more

Located right smack in CDMX's Zona Rosa, El Moro has been making churros since the 1930s. This is a two story location with "to go" on the first floor and "eat in" on the second floor. Churros can come dusted with sugar or with cinnamon and sugar. Oh! And who knew that you could order vegan churros?!?! Drinks you have the usual suspects: coffee, hot chocolate and shakes. read more

Delicious churros in CDMX. Stopped by for a mid day treat while exploring the city. We ordered a churro, consuelitos, and cafe de olla. Overall the churros were amazing! The location itself was a bit dirty. The bathrooms needed improvement and the seating area needed some cleaning. read more

The churros were obviously good ! The service upstairs was terrible ! Super rude . But I'm sure they don't care ! The girls downstairs were cool . The place wasn't the cleanest. And the restrooms were pretty filthy. . read more
I so wish that they had a store like this back in my city in the U.S. I had a hankering for something sweet and delicious, and this place fit the bill. I didn't really want the regular cookies or ice cream, and I had tried some of the churros that they sell on the street, and I thought they were dry, cold, and hard. This restaurant actually prepares their churros to order, so there's no stale food here. After checking out their menu, I decided to go for the 4 churros with hot chocolate combo meal. The churros themselves seemed like they recently came out of the oven, so all that they needed to do was to add the cinnamon. Most of their tables and chairs are located outside, so I found a nice table in the shade. There weren't that many customers at all really, so the place was pretty quiet. Those churros we're wonderful, and I'm glad that the combo only came with 4, because I'm betting that they pack a few calories. read more

Great fresh churro spot - we had a combo which was delicious. Word of caution - make sure you get the right dipping sauce. We saw multiple people want the chocolate dipping sauce and instead got a more liquid sauce. A+ read more

I wish I had this place near my area !!! Churros were amazing. Tried the Consuelo churro ice cream... delicious! Service was prompt. The restaurant was clean and simple. They have a second floor with a giant balcony. Can't wait to have El Morro again read more

Upstairs, they even have bathrooms!!! We enjoyed these churros and the atmosphere so much that we ate here twice and bought a chocolate bar and souvenir bag to take home. I love the blue and white design. The tile is so cute. They should sell the tile because I'd use it for a bathroom remodel. We got three hot chocolates and churros the second night to see what the differences were and we loitered quite a bit. The rocking chairs are nice and relaxing, but eating churros and hot chocolate in a rocking chair makes a mess lol. I like that the churros were freshly fried and crispy. They have several locations, this one is in Zona Rosa. I think some of the photos might be from other locations in this listing. read more

The churros were very good and very cost effective - Costco churros are like $1 usd but it just tastes like a bunch of dough. These are $9 pesos each (less than $0.50 usd!) and they're so yummy. You can buy them in 4's or by a piece, and I should've ordered at least 2 pieces. It pairs well with the chocolate drinks they offer. It was hard to choose because I wanted to try all of them but I went with the Español caliente - It's a lot for one person but good value. The Español has a thicker texture and it literally feels like you're drinking melted chocolate. Pretty good, not overly sweet. read more
