We came to El Muelle de San Blas expecting great things after seeing all the hype on TikTok, but unfortunately it did not live up to expectations. The service was disappointing, our server only came by to take our order and then again when it was time to pay. Other than that, we barely saw her. We ordered four different plates, and honestly the only standout dish was the aguachiles. Everything else was pretty underwhelming and not something I would order again. If you're looking for quality seafood, I would much rather recommend Ostioneria Colima in La Habra. The only reason I might come back is to try the pescado zarandeado deals, but beyond that, nothing really makes me want to return. Overall, the experience did not match the hype. read more

Food is good but service is mediocre and I couldn't get a drink at the bar while I waited for a table. I was told if I got a drink I couldn't be seated. Which just does not seem right. Honestly, if the fish wasn't so good and hadn't brought people to eat, I would have left. Been here many times and this was a busy Mother's Day but. So as we continue to hit some of our favorites from the past, we have been dying to take my wife's mom to our new favorite fish spot. So it's Saturday and we came. We started out with some really good chips and salsa. Chips are fried in house. Salsa verde was good, not too spicy with just the right amount of heat. The Pescado taco was very good. Really good fish size to taco ratio. Fish fit from end to end with the normal taco salsa/fixings were fresh. Very good taste. Also had a very good dipping sauce on the side. We also ordered my mother in law a campechana. This is seafood cocktail with shrimp, crab, and octopus. It was rather big so are taking some of it home for later. Saving the best for last is Zarandeado fish. This a fish the is grilled to perfection. It costs $55 but it is so worth it. It is so flavorful and delicious. This fish just flakes off the bones and is moist and just so damn good. We are coming back at least 2-3 more times this year just for this fish. You have to come here. It is not big but always busy. From the beginning we had called to ask if they were busy and when asked for a wait they answered so abruptly and then hung up the phone when we still had questions. We arrived with a party of 6. A party of 5 had gotten there a little before us and the waitress came over and said oh if you guys are in a party you guys have to wait outside and then we'll seat you guys to eat but the door has to be closed. That seemed so odd as the door had been open the entire time. She basically said it in a tone hoping to kick us out. It's kinda bland. The presentation is nice, but the food wasn't great. I had to drench my empanadas with salsa to give it some flavor. I think there is too many Marisco spots to choose from. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted and seated right away. It's a small restaurant with a good amount of seating indoors. The staff members were very friendly and actually learned a lot about the items on the menu from Ismael. I ordered the pescado zarandeado and it was probably the best fish I've ever had. The seasoning made it taste amazing. I recommend ordering it with hand made tortillas. Everything on the menu sounds amazing and will come back to try other things. read more

Best place hands down for seafood. I love the molcajete comes with shrimp, bacon wrapped shrimp, carne asada, chicken, chorizo, nopales, queso panela, and grilled onion. The salsa they use on the molcajete it is so good. Comes with rice, beans and salad. We always have great service from Karen making sure we have our drinks and always very nice.
