We came a few weeks ago and the food was good and fresh, I came today for a second time and there was no water but water bottle only (fist time in many years that a restaurant is unable to offer water) specially during this heat. I was told the filter had not been changed, then I wondered what water do they use for cooking. A family of 4 came after us and their food was given almost immediately after their arrival while we had to wait for much longer. The place does not have AC, I don't suggest coming on summer, you won't be able to eat comfortable. I honestly made a bad dinner choice today. I will come back at a different time, their food is good so I will give this place a second opportunity for me to be able to enjoy their food on a more pleasant environment. Here I am low my food is ready after 30 minutes and my husbands caldo still not here. Omg when I about to eat my mojarra I noticed it was overcooked. Wait wasn't worth it I returned it. Waitress gave me an attitude to the point where she even disrespected me by calling out my moms name and when I spoke to the owner she didn't took accountability for her actions. Nice hidden gem of Mexican food in an area where I'd never go to except to come back to eat here. Adobada burrito is so flavorful, marinade is fantastic. Al pastor was on point. And the canyon taco (Angus steak) is so delicious and meaty. Even better than the meatis their salsa the bring out with chips. Very great blend of spice and flavors. Then the red salsa they bring out with the tacos, while it had me sweating, it is probably in my top 5 favorite salsas all time. The server Mari is so attentive and does an amazing job at serving us . We have a 3 year old you likes to run around so we sit outside and she checks on us constantly to ensure we are happy and full . We live in the area and have been waiting for the opening and first visit. This is our first time of many we hope. We walked in and realized is was bigger than expected with full staff and many waitress for a true mariscos experience. Beer, 3 aguas fresca, and mexican soda bottles. My wife got the Mojara Frita (Fried Fillet) and I went with the Seafood Mix (Campechana) Cocktail. Like a great Sushi place have Soy sauce and wasabi readily available, a Marisco place must have an assortment of hot sauces, lemons, salts and crakers. This place was well prepared for us to enhance the flavors and truly enjoy the food. My wife was very pleased with her plate, the salad and white rice portions complemented a very clean well prepared fish. Had the bacon breakfast burrito and the chorizo breakfast taco and they were FANTASTIC! I feel like the pricing was pretty normal. $10 for burrito that was large enough to share and a taco that was $1.75. I shared both (cut them in half) and I am STUFFED. So good! Definitely worth a try. Wish I would have taken a picture of them but I will just have to update it next time I go. Their hot sauce/salsa was super tasty and so was their green sauce.
