First time I came, I brought my Son for his 21st birthday and we experienced it together which was so awesome. He appreciates the 90's and lives for video games, so it was up his alley. There are lots of vintage games to play, whether it was a game board, card game, video game or just to chill while you go down memory lane, you most definitely have options! It is a very thought out creative place and even their drinks, and food menu have a vibe on their own! I totally recommend ordering the adult lunchable special because it's a good snack starter and the best deal for your buck. It comes with a charcuterie style box with a cereal type dessert and two alcoholic drink pouches for one price. I really enjoy their smurf lagoon drink as well. The bartenders are quick even when it gets busy. Totally recommend to check this place out at least once!

Great customer service even though I'm not a regular. It's spacious with a huge projector screen for central viewing, as well as other standard big screens all around the walls. There are 2 pool tables. There's also a pinball machine and dartboard. There were other Niner fans here even though we were in the heart of SoCal, and we were whooping it up. Even though we were strangers, there was an instant connection. Best of all, the Niners won! I won't credit Red Fox for that, just the pinpoint arm of Brock Purdy. But the fun ambiance certainly buoyed the celebratory mood! The building is surrounded by a huge parking lot with a plethora of spaces. Why are we so devoid of real estate and parking in NorCal? The Red Fox is a great place to watch any game or just hang out. If I lived in the community, this would definitely be one of my regular haunts.

He chatted with us and gave us the history of the place. We had a great time! He gave us a complimentary dessert which was truly decadent. Deep fried oreos with a caramel peanut butter whiskey dipping sauce. Honestly a one of a kind experience. Folks, most of you are not near San Bernardino, but this place is worth the drive! Trust me! Merry Christmas!

If someone felt they were treated rudely by a waitress, that doesn't mean everyone that walks in will be treated the same way by that or any member of the staff. Yet here I am writing one of those reviews, because the complete lack of management was appalling. And I had no real interpersonal issue with anybody, so what happened to me could happen to you. We invited a neighbor out to the fun new place in town called THE OVERLAND -- that we'd been dying to try. We tried to get reservations early Friday because it was a Friday night. But their website appeared broken. When you clicked MAKE RESERVATIONS, nothing happened. We even called but got no call backs. We show up at 6PM and get THE BIG SIGH. "Yeah, umm... SIGH... we're having a big party on the patio and our reservations are booked for the night... SIGH." I'm highlighting the SIGHS because the staff isn't supposed to SIGH at us at how hectic their life is. It's OUR place to SIGH at the staff for failing to properly warn us the place was already booked for the night. So they sit us at a long high top where you're kind of sharing your table with 12 other people. Luckily a sweet patron volunteered to move so that we could sit across from our neighbor and create the illusion of an actual table. Soon the attentive staff did show up to take a drink order, but with a SIGH and a grimace our wait person then broke the news that because of the large party out on the patio -- there would be no food for at least an hour. We should have been told that at the door, right? As to not raise a fuss we ordered drinks and they were pretty good. The music was nice. The thing is -- -- restaurants that have an artsy fancy hipster "vibe" twist pride themselves on not being chain restaurants. I celebrate that and I get that. But with this territory often comes this odd feeling that they have no clue how to run a restaurant. "We're trying our best" with a SIGH doesn't cut it after being in business more than a few months. All 'soft openings' must come to end, people. Some Pro Tips -- 1. If your website cannot take any additional reservations, it should indicate as much. To us, it simply appeared broken. You've been open for three years and this isn't fixed YET? 2. At the door, we needed to be told there's a big function and it might be better to come back another night. Or, even more professional -- 3. -- either close the entire restaurant for a 'Private Function' or 4. -- have additional kitchen staff ready to handle both the restaurant AND the large party. Sorry folks, but you made one lousy first impression. I'm at a loss to understand why there should be a second.

We seated ourselves at our favorite raised table in the corner on the far side of the bar. My husband and I stuck to traditional cocktails, and old fashioned and a Negroni. Our friends chose signature cocktails: the Turbo Granny and the Electric Feel. Now the Electric Feel was not just a drink, it was an experience. Our server explained to our friend that he should sip a little of the drink, then chew the Szechuan buzz bud for about 15 seconds, letting it coat his whole tongue, then enjoy the rest of the drink which would taste different afterwards. Our friend went through all those steps and said it was incredible, like all the flavors were enhanced along with different sensations in his mouth, kind of numb and tingly. His wife was not satisfied with his description of the experience, so she bought a Szechuan buzz bud for $2 and she said it was kind of like pop rocks. These buzz bud looks just like a little flower bud like the end of a dandelion once the seeds are blown away. It comes from a plant. Totally fascinating! We enjoyed our one cocktail each here and just had great conversation. It was a fun night because of the company, and also because we had a little adventure going to two amazing places!

We decided on weekend brunch, especially since there were endless mimosas. Our kids have a recollection of being down the class umbrella alleyway, so they were amazed when they saw it. A short while later, we were in front of the restaurant and were quickly seated by the staff. They didn't ask if we preferred outdoor or indoor seating, but we were seated inside right next to the kitchen. We heard that indoor seating was better for service anyway. The interior of the restaurant was "very fancy," and my daughter thought we were in a date spot. We knew we wanted French fries and opted for the garlic Parmesan fries. At first, the kids were weirded out by the arugula, but my daughter ended up enjoying it, noting the bitter and salty notes. My son devoured the entire plate (not the arugula) and asked for another round. We also ordered the lemon ricotta French toast, made from Brioche bread, lemon blackberry butter, whipped lemon ricotta cream, blackberries, mint, and maple syrup. They perfected the crispy exterior, which contrasted well with the fluffy bread. My wife ordered the breakfast pizza--a focaccia pizza topped with marinara, ham, spinach, fresh tomato, red onion, a sunny-side-up egg, and herb-infused maple syrup. This was really delicious with the tart, fresh tomatoes, the salty ham, and the sweet maple syrup. I ended up eating the sunny-side egg by itself, so we didn't get to try the pizza with the egg. Lastly, I ordered the steak and eggs, but it was sadly a small portion. I ordered it medium rare, and it came out medium. The seasoning was a bit strange and would have been better with simple salt, pepper, and garlic. The mimomas really made my wife happy. She started feeling it pretty quickly. She chose the pineapple juice while I got the traditional orange. Not sure if the alcohol made the food better or the other way around. I was brought to reality when I saw the expensive bill, though.

We also ordered both the red and green chilaquiles: * The red chilaquiles were so tasty, with a subtle heat that lingers without overwhelming. * The green chilaquiles (my wife's choice) had a bright, lemony, flavorful kick. My wife also had a crepe, which was very enjoyable. One of the best parts was the table service -- the chilaquiles and crepes were made to order and delivered right to us, which made the whole brunch feel a step above your usual buffet setup. There's just so much food available, and everything was good. The omelets were buttery, the lemon rice was savory, and -- coming from someone who usually hates beans -- I actually enjoyed their beans. They offer bottomless mimosas and café de la olla, and that coffee was incredible. Warm, sweet, and spiced -- the perfect drink on a stormy day. To top it all off, there was a live musician performing while we ate, which made the whole experience feel cozy and special. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would absolutely come back. However the NY strip (which came recommended) had an uneven cook as seen in the photo which looks as if they did not let the steak come to room temperature before cooking. Also was very Underseasoned with a bland taste. The mashed potatoes (also pictured) was bland as well without a creamy texture as expected of mashed potatoes. No complaints about service. Would like to think maybe we caught them on an off day since it was Memorial Day weekend but unfortunately the food left a lot to be desired. May have been better to just save the money and make a decent dish at home.
