My first time at the Riverside Casino, I was looking around for a place to get a bite to eat for dinner. I wasn't super hungry so I thought a sandwich and some soup would do the trick. I stopped at the sidewalk Café. I ordered a pastrami on rye with the works, I selected coleslaw as my side. I also ordered a bowl of clam chowder. I hit the clam chowder first while sitting there in the café. It was delicious nice and creamy with several bits of clam. I decided to take the sandwich up to my room and wait a bit before I ate more. The sandwich was extremely delicious. I would certainly order a sandwich from there again. The coleslaw was quite good also a little on the creamy side the way I like it. The sidewalk Café is a nice little location in the middle of the casino, not too loud so you can carry on a conversation if you like. read more

Lower your expectations to curb your disappointment. The "breakfast burrito" is a microwaved burrito served still in its packaging. No attempts to hide that fact were made. Didn't even put it on a small paper plate. Just a microwave burrito and a few napkins. The "New Jumbo Breakfast Croissant" was at least prepared. But the eggs are the premade heat up scrambled eggs that remind me of plain T-ration Army eggs. Overall it was a disappointment from the lack of taste and it would have been better to have been wrapped as it falls apart as soon as you pick it up. Fortunately they have Cholula hot sauce for the asking. Ask for coffee and you are handed a styrofoam cup to fill yourself only to find half of the coffee dispensers are empty and splatter when you find this out. Save yourself the disappointment and go next door to the Aquarius casino where they have a McDonalds. At least you know what you are getting there. read more

The service is the worst I've ever dealt with. if I could leave 0 stars I would. There was three people in line when I got there and ended up waiting 40 minutes just to order (they're the only show in town after midnight and they know it.) After I ordered my sandwich I saw what the problem was. The 3 people working the various stations were moving comically slow (think the sloth character from Zootopia) Very possibly intentionally slow to make everyone's life hell. definitely visit the sidewalk cafe if you're craving a sweet treat! for $4.99 you get 4 heaping scoops of ice cream. that is really hard to beat. flavors available during my visit included: rocky road, cappuccino crunch, mint chocolate chip, strawberry, and more. Marla is an absolute delight and provided such friendly service to us. our visit was so pleasant. since we were staying at Don Laughlin, it was a quick elevator ride down if we wanted to grab a night dessert. it never got too busy in the sidewalk cafe during our 3-night stay so we made 2 visits here total. read more

This is a lovely little place. I met a nice guy named Christopher L. He's one of the most genuine and kind people I met on my trip to Laughlin. The doughnuts were incredible as well. Ok I'll admit that I only went there for breakfast. But wow, did it suck. Let's start with Jimmy dean sausage biscuits or a sausage breakfast burrito. Truly nasty stuff. The coffee is self serve and the pots need constant refilling. My table had some old dried food on it. And the floor was like a bus stop mens room. I had a half a pound chili cheese dog with the most amazing condiment selection I put mustard ketchup Mayo Bareilles Chalula sauce and pepper on it as that is my favorite as I used to eat that all the time at Las Vegas State Penitentiary with my commissary money with the fellas. One time I ate one and a half pounds of chili dogs and I felt okay and did not s*** in my pants. Remember if you have to use the restroom if only 100 ft away very convenient with many stalls. Outside of their amazing dogs they have fantastic dill pickles that people travel all over the world for. There's shrimp cocktail is soft and tender and only $5.99. They're ice cream selection is dreamy and they fill up a foam cup of to the top for under $5 for you. The carrot cake and German chocolate cake is breathtaking and you would think that Julia Child's baked it especially for you. They serve high Quality Meats at an affordable price that you could not imagine. A giant Jimmy Dean croissant breakfast sandwich that is filled with so much meat any carnivore would be satisfied. Homemade sandwiches made in front of you with freshly baked bread from the French bakery in Bullhead. If you're up at midnight and you can't sleep and you're a tweaker please stop by Riverside Sidewalk Cafe and pick up some fresh crispy Kreme donuts as they come in fresh at midnight. If Gordon Ramsay was broke he would probably show up at the sidewalk cafe for all the quality prices of the food as he's broke and the man can't get a shrimp cocktail for $6 so be grateful and don't give it a bad review. I came here today after hiking around. I needed to cool off with ice cream. I highly recommend the cappuccino ice cream, scooped up fresh by the old women behind the counter. This restaurant is clean and safe for consuming ice cream. A lot of boomers in line were simultaneously angry about the line and taking a long time to place their order. This place is near our elevator. I had a chili cheese dog that wasn't good. The hot dog was dry like overcooked, the bun fell apart as soon as you picked it up, the chili/cheese was very messy. I had about 10 napkins for a hot dog. I also got chili (santa fe chili). If you have had Wendy's, its similar but has jalapeños and spice. This were very tasty. I usually like spice but this was beyond spicy however it was flavorful to the point that I wanted to go back for more. Word of advice, if you get it, get a bottle of milk somewhere before you eat this. Overall I give this place a 5 out of 10. Most of the food is overcooked and they didn't have that much of a variety. read more

This place hasn't changed much since my last review in 2016. Thought I'd give it another try. The hotdog was mushy, and of course served on an ice cold bun. Attached are pictures of the incredibly rude woman who waited on me. I had to tell her THREE times that my order was not to go. When I asked her for my receipt, she angrily ripped it out of the cash register and slammed it down on the counter. This place has always been slow and understaffed, now I can add rude to the list. Guaranteed you will wait 20 PLUS minutes in line, (even when they're not busy). And when it's finally your turn to order, you can look forward to being treated like crap by the cashier in the pictures. read more

I have never disappointed with a food I received at this little cafe. It's in the Riverside Casino Hotel off in the non-smoking area. The sandwich at the make for you are amazing fresh bread and plenty of vegetables and condiments. It puts Subway to shame, the include potato salad coleslaw but side dishes that are like my mom's cooking. They should be very proud of themselves of the service the preparation and the tastiness of the food. After being in Laughlin for 2 days and refusing to eat the "food" served in the restaurants and buffets (at all places we had the pleasure of visiting), I was starving. It's been disappointment after disappointment, so I wasn't expecting much. I decided on a tuna sandwich on sourdough with a side of potato salad. It was like I went to food heaven. The sandwich was delicious and filling. The potato salad was pretty edible. The pickle was basically cucumber cut like a pickle spear, so I didn't eat it after the first bite. I think that peeps who enjoy gaming entertainment are usually looking for quick food fixes between machine periods , not a long overfilling dining sensation. The dining comes much later. The Sidewalk Cafe has those snacks - ice cream, donuts & pastries , soup of the day, hot dogs, shrimp cocktail, made to order sandwich ( enough for 2 SCs with small appetites) , a good chili , and salads. It even feels like those small town neighborhood lunch spots that use to be run by little old ladies in varies places that were all over the Midwest. You can't beet the price and everything we've tried from the breakfast sandwiches or chili cheese dogs to the shrimp cocktail is delicious. Was staying at the Riverside Hotel and decided to get some "breakfast" here. Not many options, as it is more of a "snack" kinda place. They have pastries, coffee, ice cream, chips, hot dogs and sandwiches. We ordered a sausage egg muffin and asked for hash browns. The lady at the register didn't seem friendly at all. She (very rudely) let us know they were all out. I guess we were expecting something different but the muffins were in a plastic bag and thrown in the microwave. This was such a unique find. We were craving something light and inexpensive to share, that would hold us over till dinner, and this is exactly what we were looking for. It was fresh, tasted homemade, and very tasty. It didn't have a lot of options to choose from, mostly sandwiches, sides, and ice cream, however in this case quality triumphed quantity. We end up ordering the roast beef sandwich combo on sourdough with all the fixings, which came with the house potato salad and a drink. We also wanted to try the soup of the day which was this AWESOME potato soup that was delicious. The sandwich was tasty, and big enough for both of us to share, and was really fresh. We only spent about $10, for two which is great! Nothing too special about this place, but because it was just what we wanted at that moment it really hit the spot. I would definitely go back for a small lunch again and for that tasty soup. In my opinion this place is A-OK with me :) read more
