Mira the food is good, it's clean but the service is not the best in the kitchen area. Both ladies that work the kitchen always have a bad attitude and take forever when you order a pollo asado meal. I had to ask how much longer for my to go order because it was the last thing I was waiting for. My chicken and drink were done & in my car and they still hadn't started the sides. But what really pissed me off was the food just sitting there while both ladies went to talk and wash dishes ( many orders still waiting ) It wasn't till the young gentleman asked if that order was done that they told him about the tortillas being the last item. Food was basic , the carne asada seemed as if it was old and just warmed up but it did have a good flavor . Their salsa was very good . The aquas frescos were very sugary . I work at a place that caters lunch for its employees. Today was taco Friday.. we get a limited selection of tacos and they come with beans and rice. My first time I tried all the meats (asada, pollo, carnitas) I really like their asada. This time I got 3 asada tacos. I'm not big on boiled beans but I like their Spanish rice. They offer up cabbage, cilantro, lemons and onions along with some different salsas. I like their food alot and if I were in the area, I would def. stop by and get lunch or dinner. read more

We were just driving through on our way home from another local business when the colorful mural & large selection of meat on the BBQ caught our eye. We're so glad we impulsively decided to swing a u-turn & stop. I try to support local businesses & regional family-owned chains as often as I can. This place seems to have a bit of everything except queso laminado (pre-sliced cheese) as I was looking for. They have a meat market, a catering business with individual plates available for purchase, & all the items typical of a small local mini-mart. What made our visit special was that they offered to BBQ sausage for us after my husband asked if they had sausage on their outdoor BBQ. They didn't charge for BBQ-ing the meat for us so $3.89 bought us a LB of Mexican Longaniza (sausage) cooked immediately for us. We enjoyed our ice-cold sodas while sitting on folding chairs outside the store, listening to their festive music, & people-watching as a nice man BBQ'd our sausage in front of us. Pretty unique find in a city of big box stores, fast food chains, & urban sprawl. Worth a drive over just to have some reasonably priced fresh BBQ. read more

When we went in to eat, they were preparing food for some catered a event and they had a huge bowl of macaroni salad, while they stepped away to prepare our food they left it uncovered and at least a hundred flies were landing in it and the cook saw and just continued mixing. The flowers where 40$ and hideous!!! Very disappointed. The stems were super long the leaves where not trimmed and the flowers appeared smashed and some even dead . My gps down, my phone dying, and my stomach grumbling, I wandered inside El Parian, alone, confused, and hungry. I normally don't like to do reviews even when the service has been horrible, I tend to be understanding having worked in the restau industry myself. But today was by far the worse experience I've ever had. I placed an order by phone and it took them 1 hour 30 minutes to give my son who went to pick up the order. When I called to express my disappointmen, the person in charged of the shift stated that due to the fact that we had paid with EBT, we were left till the end. That Their practice is to take care of the customers who pay with cash as they don't want to make them wait so they don't lose their business. Because the people who pay with EBT after won't become regular customers and they don't matter much. This people discriminated against people who pay with EBT just because we pay with EBT. Im wondering if they don't get paid for the food we purchase the same as the people who pay with cash. read more

Pros: food was good and it can feed 2-3 people, service was awesome and plus they deliver! I would eat from here again 1 part hot wings 1 part asada fries 1 part 3 taco of your meat choice. And everything comes fully load!!!! Cons: hot wing aren't your traditional hot wings, for they are smothered in chamoy sauce, and I'm not the biggest chamoy fan, they should give a heads up on that. I ordered the heart Taco treat yesterday. I ordered it for my boyfriend's birthday today. It has 18 tacos but I ordered the vegetables on the side. ( I thought they were going to put the celantro, lemons and lettuce in the middle of the heart because I ordered them on the side and I said no onions). So I go to pick it up and the lady at the register verifies my order and asks me if I ordered the circle taco tray. I told her no I'd made an order for the heart Taco tray. She says okay give me a few minutes, and she takes it back to the people cooking. A few minutes later she comes right back out and puts it on the counter and says okay here you go. I didn't think to look at it because I had my kids with me and I was in a rush. I put the tray on the floor in my van so it doesn't get messed up on the way home. I Get home, and look at the tray and the picture I took is what I got. It looks nothing like the pictures of the advertised. I will not be going back to this place ever again. read more

VERY good food at great prices! Customer service not so much. We went in because I craving a Mexican style whole elote with parmesan cheese ect. It was about 8 pm, Saturday night, raining heavily and they still had the grill going outside with their music playing. We are a family of six and they DID have a few smaller tables that fit us comfortably. We walked in to order and the young man taking our order couldn't answer a simple question we had, what comes in the chimichanga burrito? He yelled over at one of the cooks by the grill to left of him and asked her. she said she didn't know. I thought to myself, "are they playing stupid because they don't want our business or something." A woman from a family that was sitting down at the eat in area said, "wow! that's some cook you got working back there!" I looked back and told my husband what was going on. Because all of this was said in Spanish, none of my family knew what was being said. The guy had to call, idk who, on the phone and ask what came on the chimichanga. He told me what came inside it, then I began translating in English and the guy spoke in English to my husband, saying it faster than I could, (Sort of rude) he added "that's it, that's all it comes with." My husband had to ask if it came with sour cream and guacamole on top? He said oh yeah. (Ugh not very fun.) while I asked everyone else to say what they wanted, the guy began getting on ig and doodling on the order booklet as if we were boring him. He never told me that we had to walk the orders, which he wrote and charged us for, to each area. I thought they would call out our orders or something. He came to our table a little after we sat down then told us we had to walk over the ticket orders or no one would ever make them. (Okay? Makes sense when you TELL me.) we ordered tacos and that ticket order had to be taken to the grill outside, the other to the grill that was inside with us. When we were about to leave we decided to take one elote to my pregnant cousin. I got in line behind two guys, they ordered 2 tortas and two 2 sodas then they sat down. The guy walked their ticket order over to the cook that was at the left. I waited and watched as he talked to her a little and gave her the ticket order. He came back, wrote and charged me for my order, one elote to go. Then gave me the ticket order and I said I walk this over? He said yeah. So I asked him why he walked over the ticket of the guys before me? He said because theirs was difficult and had to be separate. I said oh okay and walked my ticket over to the cook. she took my ticket and verified my order from what she read. she asked more details like what kind of chile we wanted, if we wanted light sprinkling or heavy. That was cool but it seemed obvious that those kind of questions and convo is what transpired while I watched and waited to order to go. I would not go if they were busy with the experience we had. All the business they had in that hour was, The family that was there before us (which already had their order in), us (we didn't order too much food) and the two guys that walked in after us. FYI they don't tend to the tables, as in, come to check if you need anything. They just bring the food from the grill area or you bring it from the grill outside depending on what you order and if you want to eat inside. To eat in we ordered 3 elotes no chile, 1 asada chimichanga, 3 chicken tacos $16 and 6 drinks for everyone$7= $24 total, Not too bad. the elotes are $2.50 and they do NOT put butter on them, they were still pretty good. Me and my boyfriend went here because someone tagged me in a post they had put up about their hot Cheeto menu, and I was NOT disappointed. Okay the original post made it seem like they were a business for delivery only. Like it was ran out of someone house. But I decided to see for myself. Outside parking is scarce so I had to park in the neighborhood on the side. But whatever. Inside the girl that helped us was super sweet, I felt like she had been getting hot Cheeto menu questions all day because she immediately started listing the items off to me when I was looking at the menu. I got a mango with Chile (option of in a cup or on a stick) I put it in a cup. Size medium. And a hot Cheeto Elote. My boyfriend got a mangonada. She brought the mangonada first, usually I don't like mangonadas because every time I get one, like at Rasputin's, it's all mango ice cream and no real mango and too much Chamoy. This one was so good! They use real mangos blended and ice, it was so sweet it was perfect. My medium mango in a cup was very large and packed full. And I mean it was PACKED. the hot Cheeto elote was life changing. The post said 'limited time only' but I really hope they keep these menu items. We will definitely be back for more. I'm a first time customer and it wasn't my best experience! First I ordered a horchata and they took it out of the fridge and everyone was sniffing it to figure out if it's old or not. I got the horchata and it tasted so bad! I order a burrito and there was plastic in there!! Didn't eat till I got home and by that time it was too late to drive back. I heard highly of this place and everyone's so sweet! Disappointed ointed in how the handled the food and finding plastic in my food.
