Fantastic food, lovely atmosphere, family-owned and run. Sit in the courtyard, near the parrots.!

In addition to taking a little boat to the restaurant, which of course is part of its charm, there is a ladder where you have to get off a rocking boat and climb to the dock. I went there 12 years ago and I can't say that I was bothered by that a bit. But I went back last year and I found it extremely difficult and it was even harder to get back on the boat. Some folks that were older than me and less mobile were really really struggling so make sure you feel like you have the physical capacity to climb up a short ladder to get on the dock. Also, the only restroom is up or rather steep flight of stairs The highlight for me is the location which is spectacular and the little beach that you can take the path to after your lunch. Absolutely worth it but allow time because the last boat leaves around three.

You can book the water taxi when you make your reservation online. There is a small fee to go rt. Be sure to have your plans in order as they charge a hefty cancellation fee if you cancel the whole reservation. Two of our party dropped out and I was worried they worked charge us for that, but they didn't. It was a quick water taxi trip over, about 5-10 min. The view was so beautiful as the place was perched up on the cliff side. I got the Alpastor grilled octopus . It was delicious. My husband got the catch of the day which was Mahi Mahi. He said it was the best Mahi Mahi he had ever had. Compliments to the chef and the freshness. The toilet above the restaurant does not have a door or walls, really, but has a great view of ocean. We decided to work off our lunch and hiked back to Boca. It was a fun hike. Steep uphills and down hills. A bit rough terrain but stuff you could hold onto in case you need the help. Be sure to wear sneakers, not flip flops (unless you're 20 and agile). It took us an hour, but I think if we were 40 years younger we could have done it in 35-45 minutes. We enjoyed our adventure and note have a great place to explore some more!!

Mexican classics and hearty, fresh dishes, from soups and salads to tacos and regional specialties. Complimentary Hibiscus water and chips and salsa both very delicious. Refreshing drinks and a relaxed vibe that pairs well with the garden setting. The food is delicious and worth it, especially after a long walk through the gardens. The service and ambiance is friendly and laid-back. Service can be slow at peak times, and prices are on the higher side for the area. Nature lovers, families, couples, and anyone seeking a peaceful escape from the beach scene. A day trip full of scenic beauty, gentle hikes, wildlife encounters, and a tasty meal with a view. Go earlier in the day for fewer crowds and better service at the restaurant.

They have hummingbird feeders and some areas with fruit for birds so you get a nice birdwatching opportunity. Cocktails: pricey but tasty. This was the best margarita we had in PV. I had the vanilla mojito which was flavorful. Food: we started with the guacamole which was disappointing. For mains we got the garlic butter fish, which was a big piece of fish and very tasty. It came with asparagus and bread, but I swore the menu said rice but the waiter kept saying homemade bread. I just accepted it and didn't eat the bread even though it was tasty it didn't really go with the meal. We also got the quesadilla, which was tasty with caramelized onions. Overall food quality was high. Service: Our meals took a while, but we did come at lunch rush. Our waiter kept trying to upsell us which I don't appreciate especially when we're ordering drinks, an app, and mains. Price: this place is definitely pricey especially for drinks (but their drinks are delicious). We paid $100 for 2 cocktails, 1 app, 2 mains, and tip.

The restaurant is essentially a large open air patio (that's covered) with a view of the river. A small lunch menu, but a nice selection that should satisfy. Best part is the food was quite tasty and made with fresh ingredients, I enjoyed the chicken enchiladas and they were perfectly seasoned with a great enchilada sauce, and just the right amount of cheese. Prices here are fair and the enchilada portion plate was more than enough for one grown man. There's a large bar and people were sipping margaritas and cocktails. I enjoyed the Micheladas. I'm not an ice cream eater; however, if you are, you absolutely must come here because the other patrons were enjoying several kinds of ice cream that looked quite delicious and unusual. And you could peruse the freezer and choose the type of flavor that you wanted. I would absolutely come back. It is not in the Pueblo so that if you are walking up the river either on your way or on your way back do yourself a favor and stop here!! Keep in mind you have to cross over the suspension bridge to get there.
