I came here with the family and we got three Calikid burgers ( one with chicken) , Happy Hippie Burger, Frickles, Fried Brussel spouts, fries, cold coffee shake, and a vanilla shake. The burgers are not huge but more than filling. If you did a double patty that would be it. The buns and toppings really what make these burgers stand out. I tried both and they were so flavorful. Literally to the last bite delicious. We all love the fries and Brussels sprouts. The frickles were also super tasty (loved the onions in there) but I wish there were a little more zucchini in there, and maybe a little thicker too. The shakes were legit. The coffee shake had a surprisingly bold coffee flavor. Delicious! The vanilla was also awesome. Overall this was one of the best spots we have been to in a while. We all left wanting to come back. That doesn't happen all the time, let me tell you. We will definitely be back.

When I called over to speak with her about this incident she was extremely unprofessional and we got nowhere. I have reported this restaurant to corporate but since they are independently owned there's not much corporate can do! I am so saddened by what this world has come to! DO BETTER Popeyes!! Have to say I wasn't expecting service and food as good as I received, for a fast food restaurant I was amazed. The salsa bar was fresh and kept full, and you can watch them prepare the chicken on the grill behind the counter. The counter staff was pleasant and helpful. Taste was excellent and the food fresh, much healthier than other fast food places. The Chicken Black Bean Bowl was delicious, the only complaint (but that goes for all restaurants) would be the sodium content, for those with hypertension the salt content is pretty much my max for the day, so for me it's a once a week treat. Have to say since coming here I have never regretted it, not one negative about this place... I don't even grill chicken at home now, it's hard to admit but I can't compete. This El Pollo Loco is great. You can't beat their mainstay grilled chicken, the shrimp wraps, heck, everything I try is awesome. When a restaurant becomes so rigid that a basic customer request cannot even be solved by charging for the extras, the problem is no longer the menu. It is the attitude. There are far too many good Mexican restaurants around to spend money somewhere that makes you feel unwelcome for asking a basic question. Screw this joint. On to the next Mexican spot.
