We came here on our way to the Art and Wine Festival on Sunday. It was very easy with plenty of parking, once inside we ordered our food- a gyro bowl, a falafel bowl and a skewer of chicken kabob. The food was made quickly and wrapped up for us to take out. The gyro bowl was great, a little different as it had onions in the rice, but tasty. The falafel bowl was delightful and the chicken skewer was great. We were very happy with our tasty and "healthier" on the go option. As for the ambiance, there were no other patrons inside. Nick the Greek has become one of my favorite Greek food places. There are several locations but to be a chain restaurant the food is delicious! I usually go to the Ygnacio Valley location and the food is good. It is located inside a plaza, and there is plenty of parking available. The employees are polite but not very friendly. I usually take my food to go. I've tried several menu items here but my favorite is the Mediterranean Bowl with Steak. This dish is the perfect dish. It comes with rice, kale salad, tomatoes, cucumber, fried chick peas, pickled onions, hummus, harissa, and a red wine vinaigrette. I always choose steak for my protein. The food always tastes fresh and very flavorful. Sometimes the kale salad has too much vinaigrette, but overall, the dish is delicious. My husband has had the chicken gyro, and the lamb/beef gyro and the flavor for both is good; it comes with a lot of meat. You can make any dish a meal with pita and a drink. The pita is fried and seasoned. Overall the food here is delicious! read more

Stopped here more or less randomly for a casual lunch and discovered a place where i will definitely return. I had a salad full of fresh crispy and pickled vegetables, feta, olives, with flavorful, lemony dressing. My friend had a pita wrap full of great looking fillings. First time here was amazing, super nice girl who worked there. But since then, not good experiences. One lady with long dark hair here is super rude. One time they ran out of frozen yogurt and her words "I don't have another for you. Sorry." Who talks like that. She also has long nails too which is kind of yuck for the food industry. Good food but they're cheap with the tzatziki sauce like it is gold. First off, when someone spends $40-$50 asking 2-3 little cups of sauces and being charged .50-.75 cents is ridiculous..... every single location is like this and it's outrageous. My family and I (mom, nana, plus my 4 kids) spend $500-800 a month in total between concord, Clayton, and Brentwood locations. They know us, yet they still act greedy for the $1.50..... this isn't the way to keep customers. Especially ones who are loyal to the same locations. Just sad for a huge chain.... My kids get the steak and lamb beef but won't get a free tzatziki each to eat meat and pita... I personally get the Mediterranean bowl and I request to take 2-3 sauces OFF so to ask for 2-3 more sauces should be an even exchange.... but apparently that's outlandish to think of that way. ‍ Food is good. We ordered the chicken gyro and it was not good at all. The chicken was like dry, end pieces and all dark meat. Just not good quality meat. Too much lettuce and like 4 or 5 fries. Drive the extra couple of miles and go to The Kebab Shop. read more

Whenever I go, woman serves me and I always get bad treatment. It seems that she is dissatisfied with her person and that reflects it. Last time I ordered an ice cream and she told me it's not ice cream, it's frozen yogurt. I know what she meant. Today she was preparing ice cream and she told me there's no more. You have to wait.
