The best part was the Mac n cheese which was really creamy. I was a bit on the fence on if I like the flavor of the sauce they used though. The Bird Sauce was really sweet and reminded me of a honey mustard. I personally thought it was a bit too sweet but the more I ate it the less I was opposed to it. Also, the Nashville Hot didn't have any heat at all and I wish there was more overall flavor. I think I would come back to try a different flavor and maybe up the spice level. While we were sitting down, she came by with the biggest smile and asked if I wanted a water refill. Then she brought my little one a stuffed animal, which immediately had her grinning ear to ear. They didn't shoo me away because I only ordered a drink. I sat on a table by the trash can to catch up with my friends on social media. Suddenly, an employee walked up to ask why I wasn't eating anything. Haha. I told her that I couldn't fit one more solid food in my stomach. Then, we had a short conversation. So nice. I may have sat there for an hour or so. My feet regained energy. I thought to get a piece of brownie for the road. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at this 290 Cypress restaurant.
