ALWAYS check your order before you leave this location because they are guaranteed to either give you the wrong order or forget to add something you ordered. They really don't care, they get my online orders wrong every single time without fail as if they are dedicated to getting the order wrong. As a customer service worker, I am very empathetic, understanding of mistakes and have always let it go everytime but now I have had enough. And when you kindly and politely approach them about it, they are defensive and it feels like you're bothering them to correct a mistake they made. read more

I get the classic tostada bowl BUT my trick is to steal 1 pc chicken from my baby bc the chicken in the bowl is not the same as the actual chicken piece!!! It's still good but the chicken piece is way juicier my tostada was $7.49 and our total came out to $20.46. Ps: do NOT miss out on the amazing sauces! July 6 2026, Silverado ranch rd. Starting with the positive, the place seems very clean. My reason for the one star review is that even though they were far from busy, I was never greeted, not told sorry for the wait, never looked at. Just as I turned to walk out I heard another customer say loudly to the kitchen staff "you have a customer that's been waiting " so I turned back to the register. A woman arrived, never looked at me and spoke so rapidly she had to repeat herself more than once. My order was simple, the two for 12. With coupon meal, easy peasy. I asked for corn tortillas and an add on of two extra dressings which are a charged item. So, bad service was disappointing but , getting my meal home to find that the tortillas were flour and the dressing I paid extra for were not included just put the End to my Ever going to El Pollo Loco again. Went in for a quick meal. After 30 minutes, nothing!! A lady next to me had been waiting a long time with no help, and after yellin loudly, finally got someone to assist her. The kiosk is confusing, and wouldn't honor my gift card so decided to pay with cash. After trying to pay and getting nowhere I tried getting help. The employees glace at you and go on with whatever they are doing. Though I don't perfer using a kiosk at fast food venues, usually when at "fast" food places you get quick help. Not at that El Pollo Loco! You can stand at the counter forever and not get help. Tried calling them. Nothing. Did not want to yell loud like the lady before us. My friend and I just gave up and went somewhere else to eat. Most Pollo Loco resturants are quick to wait on you, however this location needs some serious training. I just love the grilled chicken at El Pollo Loco - I used to regularly get their chicken when I lived near one, but sadly, I moved and the closest one is about an hour away. I recently stopped by this El Pollo Loco after driving to Las Vegas and the chicken was just as good as I remember it. The skin was nice and crisp, and the meat was juicy and flavorful. The largest reason I ordered from this location (440 E Silverado Ranch) is because the health department gave them an A with NO violations. I wish more restaurants were like this (NO violations). I was shocked at all the A's, but significant violations that made me say "no thanks " to eating there. Ok, now about the food :) the chicken was really good and so was the mashed potatoes. The chicken was on the smaller side than I thought it would be, but it was really good. The broccoli was Ok, but no seasoning was on it so only get this if you really like the taste of broccoli. I accidently ordered food online from the wrong store. There are 2 stores within the same zip code on the same street. I called to ask for a refund after purchasing again from the correct store. The "supervisor" was rude, unhelpful and refused to tell me her name or employee number- -then hung up. If I had spoken to her first. I would have purchased chicken from another establishment. There are chicken places on almost every corner! This is no way to keep loyal customers. If their management team continues to represent the Company like this, they will be the next business filing for bankruptcy!! read more

I'm an Uber eats driver and normally all fast food restaurants give us a complimentary cup of water or soda. Unfortunately on this Pollo Loco branch in Silverado Ranch , they are so cheap that they won't even give you ice or water. Especially when it's 108 degrees out, least they could do is give you a small cup of water especially after you picked up 3 big bags of food for a customer. Staff is very rude!!! I always ask for my chicken to be cooked well done; more than half of the time its not well done. I'am aware that this request may be difficult during busy hours and I make the effort not to request during those times. Tonight I ordered dinner and the same issue. Chicken appeared to be cooked at its consumable standard. Eating chicken like this is not appetizing to me. I finally called this evening after two years and asked to speak to the manager. Spoke to the manager and let her know my issue. She said she "understood"........... and that's all she said. This is the same manager who took the order and always takes my order. The manager/order taker is also unfriendly. Customer service is lacking. I also ordered churros with the meal this evening and they forgot to add cinnamon to the Churro. I've been going to this location for over twelve years. Recently, I've experienced the female evening manager. She's a Hispanic lady with a very heavy accent. I usually have very good service here but the last two visits, I've dealt with her I haven't. My order before last was through the drive-through. I asked for an extra creamy cilantro for my salad. I got to the window, paid for my food, (large amount) and reminded the gentleman at the window to please add an extra creamy cilantro. As I pull forward. I notice that there's no creamy cilantro for a salad in the bag let alone an extra one. I go in and I deal with the manager. She asked me for a receipt when I brought the bag in. I explain to her, I wasn't provided a receipt. She began to argue , raise your voice, and said we always give a receipt. I didn't have a receipt. I paid cash. I pointed out the gentleman who rang me out and she still told me, "I can't give you a creamy cilantro". She was extremely rude and told me that there's an extra charge for creamy cilantro and I advised her that the gentleman that rang me out. Should've advise someone of that but didn't. Just a few minutes ago I ordered on GrubHub. I ordered another chicken salad and called the store to see if they could make sure to add a creamy cilantro, and then an extra creamy cilantro. Again I dealt with the manager who was nasty and wanted to argue with me, and I let her know that there is not an option to pay for an additional creamy cilantro to be purchased. Manager continue to argue with me. I asked If I can pay for an extra creamy, cilantro since, the salads don't come with enough. I offered to provide my card over the phone to be charged. She had no solutions, had a very nasty attitude, and when she caught on to how unhappy I was with her customer service, she asked me what my name was on my order. 196 Diego M took my order and I specifically ordered 1 double chicken bowl with No beans and No cabbage. I drove home to find out there were beans. My daughter just finished playing soccer and was extremely hungry so she ate most of the chicken and left everything that had beans and or flavored with the juices from the beans. I returned to the drive thru to request a new order and I then get into an argument with Diego because he said I had eaten most of the food and he would only give me a partial replacement bowl. (Are you SERIOUS???) He then argued that I did not tell him I didn't want beans. He even said that the cook also said I didn't say that. I told home, I did and he replied well maybe you didn't. WOW! We continued to argue for several minutes while someone behind me was patiently waiting. I felt so bad that I had to stop responding to him so he can just give me my replacement bowl. He obviously had second thoughts because he gave me a full bowl. Thanks Diego, thankfully all I wasted was my time, my gas and I'll probably not go back here again since now I'll have to be worried they may do something to my food.
