I really wanted to like this location because it's close to home, but unfortunately the service has consistently been disappointing. I fully support high school students working and earning money, but the staff here truly need better training. At times it feels more like a social hangout than a workplace. There seems to be a lack of urgency, awareness, and basic customer service from much of the crew. The food is also hit or miss. Sometimes the chicken strips are hot and fresh, but other times the pieces are small. The fries are are at times overcooked, and overly salted. The inconsistency makes it hard to rely on this location. Although this store is more convenient for me, I've found myself driving to the Stephanie Street or south premium outlets locations instead because they consistently provide better service and quality. Management at the Saint Rose location -- please evaluate and properly train your team. 2 strong employees can't make up for the overall lack of performance of others. With better supervision and training, this location has the potential to improve. We were out and about and got hungry so we stopped at Raising Cane's on Saint Rose parkway. Upon entering we were greeted right away and our orders were taken by a very efficient Dennis. We were able to swap their Cole slaw for an extra toast which I love. I also love their sweet tea. The venue is clean and spacious with light ambience music. It was not crowded like the Rainbow location. We did noticed a line of cars going through drive thru tho. We chose to sit at their outdoor patio area since we brought our dog Peanut with us. It's been several years since I've last had Raising Cane's. On our drive from Las Vegas back to Los Angeles, we stopped by Raising Cane's in Henderson for lunch. The drive-thru line was LONG, so we did the obvious, parked, and dined in. It was busy inside the restaurant, too, but we were able to find a table for the four of us. I ordered The Caniac Combo (6 Chicken Fingers, Crinkle-Cut Fries, 2 Cane's Sauce, Texas Toast, Coleslaw, and a 32oz Drink). It didn't take that long to order and receive my food, maybe less than ten minutes. The meal was great! The chicken was soft, fries were fresh, and the toast was buttery. And it happened to be around the area where I work at which is always a plus. We love Cane's, but for the last several months their soda fountain tastes gross. Sometimes it's kind of flat, but the flavor is always off. It doesn't taste like Diet Coke should. As connoisseurs we KNOW lol. We used to love getting a spicy DC from Cane's, they were delish, and now they're just disappointing every single visit, for months now. To the point we find ourselves going less and less. I don't know if the machine is dirty and needs a good cleaning, the water going to it has changed, or the syrup being used isn't good, but please look into and change it to what it previously was. So chicken is so soft and the fries are not soggy or salty they were good . The bread was good as well I like to get butter on both sides. Laziest employees ever! Ordered take out with curbside and sat outside with my kids crying 10 mins after the committed time with no employee in sight. I called three times with no answer. There was no line in the drive thru and no option for drive thru option with the online order. I ran in to pick the order up myself and the employees were standing around chit chatting! There was no line in the restaurant but a few seated dine in customers. I asked for my order and insight into why they didn't bring the order out or at least answer the phone and the guy working the counter just pointed and said to pick my food up on the counter because sometimes they get busy so they don't have time to answer the phone or bring the food outside. Fast food usually gets a bad rep, but sometimes when you're hungry you oversee a lot of things to have a quick meal. That's what happened to us when we were on our way to meet family, but were busy making sure our house was taken care of that we forgot to get eat. We arrived at Raising Canes since it was close to our location and noticed they were getting the drive through orders out pretty quick. We walked in and it was busy, but customers were eating. We were greeted immediately by the cashier. We ordered three combos, and upgraded 2 of our cups because who doesn't love Posty right? We grabbed out drinks and condiments and chose a booth to wait for our order. One of the employees brought our order out, and I noticed they accidentally gave us extra coleslaw and no toast, when I said the opposite. I went to ask the employees at the front desk if they'd be able to change it and they immediately gave me the 4 toasts and said they couldn't take back the coleslaw, which I understood. I appreciated them being so apologetic and quick to fix our issue. Now the restaurant was packed, loud, and clean. I'm not sure if this is always the case with this particular location, but the employees and management were doing their best to try and keep it clean after the tables were empty. Our chicken is as fresh and hot also. The sauce was great, and the only minor issue was the fries were super salty! My first time eating Raising Cane's. Not impressed. Hubby drove through. We had already decided that we didn't want a combo because driving home with two cups of fountain soda is not desirable. So he had to order the chicken fingers individually, and fries individually, and the sauce individually and the coleslaw individually. When he got home and we opened the two boxes, we saw white French Fries. "Brown food tastes good," to quote Chef Anne Burrell. But the fries weren't golden brown; they were white, soft and limp. The six chicken fingers were also soft, almost limp. I think that they were steamed after going into the styro-foam box with a closed lid. Not terribly flavorful. My friend sold me on Cane's yesterday while we were having lunch at a deli. She said her favorite thing about Cane's is the sauce which she likened to Russian dressing. The sauce was the best part of the meal but it couldn't have used a little punch. (Spice) I had coleslaw and it tasted like coleslaw I have had many times. Either the parent company makes this for all of their chains, or lots of restaurant chains are buying the same coleslaw from the same wholesaler because I have had that coleslaw hundreds of time. Nothing wrong with it but nothing special about it, either. It didn't cost much. Some fast food places have gotten quite pricey, so I'm sure families and people on tighter budgets appreciate the pricing. The reason why I mentioned that is because My Wife simply asked for 4 little cups of water and the Manager told her, "we don't give cups away anymore because of teenagers." I'm sorry but when an expecting Mother simply asks for cups for water, just for water, you should NEVER say NO. We were really disappointed, and we even felt bad for leaving a negative review, but this one got to me and stuck with me throughout the entire time we ate.
