What's wrong with this location, when ever I come here they never seem to have the salsa Roja available. The manager on duty blamed the store manager for not ordering enough and suggested I go to another location for the Salsa Roja WTF. I thought stores made the salsas fresh like the one in my old hood. I've been a fan of El Pollo Loco for as long as I can remember. Although many things on their menu changed over the years, one that hasn't is the BRC burrito (tip: you can get a BRC "meal" that comes with a drink you choose on arrival and chips on the side for $5.99 - plus it's a good amount of chips). If ordering online, keep an eye out for location specific deals or "digital exclusives". The burritos we ordered (BRC and chipotle guacamole chicken) were crispy on the outside, warm and fresh on the inside and so filling! I haven't been inside an El Pollo Loco in some time, but when picking up your order, they give salsa on request instead of you filling the to-go cups on your own. The staff was friendly, restaurant smelled like the chicken cooking on the grill, dining area looked clean and our items were tasty! I asked for an extra salad dressing as I have many times in the past and was told they charge.40 for each extra one. I said okay I'd like one. Well I'm very upset at this place,I come here often for my lunch.I went to use their restroom & noticed the paper towel holder was empty.The lid was down & that's when to my horror I saw all the dirty,nasty,dust(There are photos).It looked like it's never been cleaned ever & you don't have to clean them everyday but this was horrible.Sometimes you can't see all the dust but not in this case.Who ever cleans in there & puts new paper towels would have seen it.Why it's an issue it's obvious you dry your hands with them & maybe use it for your face.If I knew i would have came out screaming.The manager when possible should be checking on this especially know they know. read more

Opening Manager at the Silverado Ranch location had a negative attitude towards me before I even ordered. Order hand off was better. Food is very uniform throughout different locations. This location is the worst El Pollo Loco location ever. We have tried on multiple occasions to come and just get chicken for our family and every time we go they either have no chicken or it's going to be 45 minutes or longer just to get chicken. Yes I said it, a chicken place that has no chicken. Useless! I'm not sure why this location is even on this corner, it is a waste of space since they don't even offer the food that you want going to a chicken place. This has happened multiple times. We used to love El Pollo Loco but this location has completely changed our minds. We have reported the problem in the past and we get a generic response from Jennifer like they really care but then nothing changes.
