Generally speaking, it's usually a descent place to eat. I prefer the Original Pollo Bowl or the protein bowl. As you can see, the rice was overcooked and in huge clumps, bean juice. I asked for easy beans and easy rice. The bowl was filled with beans. It seemed like there were 3 cups of beans in the bowl. It took 40 minutes to get two Original Pollo bowls. I, along with others waiting, were given a free drink of our choice. Well...I tried getting a fountain drink and my choices were empty. I went with the unsweetened tea. The tea had so much water in it that it was light brown in color. People that came in long after I did got their food before I did, which is odd IF you complete the orders as they come in. I contacted the store and spoke with the manager. She took my name and said she will remake the order correctly when I come back in. Honestly, I deserved a refund for food that wasn't edible in addition to it being remade properly. I understand that you were short staffed due to call outs, but the staff that was there should have cooked the food properly. There was overcooked chicken on the grill. It was a tall man cutting up the chicken. He was slamming down the knife so hard on the cutting board that it was like he was taking his frustrations out on the cutting board. This definitely isn't a good look. It looks bad. Hopefully, your manager or district many will read this and provide you some coaching. That overcooked chicken was cut up to be served to customers when it should have been thrown away. read more

We ordered lunch from the drive-through 6/8/26 at 3pm. Three piece chicken nugget was horrible. It had so much seasoning on it. My child could not even eat it we end up throwing it away. I also ordered a double double chicken salad. The rice was hard and the beans were overcooked. We will never visit this restaurant again. read more

A new El Pollo Loco in Northwest Las Vegas has opened up! This one is off of Skye Canyon Drive and the 95. El Pollo Loco is right next to McDonald's and Dutch brothers. The restaurant is in a brand-new location! There is a drive-thru option available, however, we opted to go inside the restaurant to place our order. There are self-service kiosks where you can place your order inside. If you have their mobile application, you can scan it for points! El Pollo Loco's menu focuses on flame-grilled chicken and Mexican-inspired cuisine. You'll see a lot of their options range from flame-grilled chicken, marinated in blend of herbs and spices, to a selection of burritos, tacos, and quesadillas! Looking over their menu, we decided to order the $5.00, Pollo Bowl, no combo. We were able to customize the option through the self-service kiosk, omitting tomatoes, onions, and cilantro. After placing our order, we waited less than 5 minutes for it to be completed! Inside of the restaurant is nice! There is a spacious amount of table seating, and the décor is quite modernized! There are restrooms near the entrance to the restaurant. The Pollo Bowl was delicious! It had the correct ingredients we asked for, which were rice, beans, and chicken! I usually love El Pollo Loco. It's actually my go to place if I need to pick something quick up for dinner because I can order grilled chicken and nothing else. My husband and I are on the carnivore diet and there are a lot of things that we don't eat. El Pollo Loco always had nice juicy seasoned chicken. This location, however, was pretty disappointing. First of all, I ordered a 16 piece and got 12 pieces. Second, the chicken was both soggy and dry. There were a couple pieces of chicken in there that you could not identify as an actual piece of chicken. It just looked like the scraps I would normally put in chicken soup. Came in for dinner, the place was empty on the inside but was busy with online orders and drive through. We wanted a breast and wing combo and were told we would have to wait at least 30 minutes so they can cook it fresh. We waited and when our order was ready we were still missing some of our order but it was quickly fixed. The place was clean and the staff were nice, it was just kind of interesting to see no food was ready for people eating in but drive thru and online orders were moving out. I still like the food here and the value for your money I feel is good. I will definitely be back here. read more

And my most recent meal that I ordered on the app I picked it up got home and realized I was missing things. I called the store. The lady knew who I was and immediately said I know what it is. Come back. I now have to drive all the way back to the store because your employees failed to remember to look at the receipt of the order and to take time and just to check to make sure the order is correct. Not only did the lady on the phone have an attitude, but I get back to the store and they wanna ask me what I'm missing, but you clearly told me that you knew what I was missing already on the phone. I come back to the store to get my missing things that I paid for and they have an attitude and did nothing for the customer not even apologize they did absolutely nothing. Semi-healthy fast food but with great service. This location opened in the centennial area about 5 months from this post. Located in the same plaza as McDonald's and Dutch brothers. The entrance and exit to this plaza is kind of confusing but there is plenty of parking once you're inside. This el pollo loco is very clean and they have multiple kiosks for ordering. If you don't want to use a kiosk, you can flag down one of the employees to help. Food here is what you expect, it's not the best food but I come here regularly because it's the most healthy fast food close to me. The drive thru service is always quick and the workers are super helpful. I want to give a shout out to Amari for his great customer service. Overall, good option if you need something quick, I probably come here about once a week. read more

After driving 12 hours from Denver I was starving my dad lives right near here. Decided to grab a few tacos asked for 4 chicken tacos with lots of hot sauce. Please wait about 10 minutes at the window which seems long I was the only one there it was about 830pm but whatever I wasn't too worried, just hungry. Handed me my bag and I made the mistake of not checking for the hot sauce in there. I don't know about other people, but without hot sauce I don't really even wanna taco just kind of ruined my meal after driving that long. just a little thing, hot sauce. not that big of a deal. and I should've checked the bag and now I'm going to every time. I also got to my dad's and the tacos were just not good at all. When I told my dad which location I had gone to, he said that's one of the worst El Pollo Locos in the area. By far some of the worst service I have ever had. I order ahead on the app only to wait about 20 minutes past the time it was supposed to be ready. I saw five employees yet nobody acknowledged me. It wasn't even busy. There was one family that was eating in the store and 2 guys that were wating when I got there. I saw 1 car in the drive thru. When I finally got my food the employee didn't apologize for the wait and wouldn't even said anything I I didn't confirm with her that it was my order. The food was ok but nothing special. This location should be ashamed of itself. I went to this restaurant for dinner at 6:15 PM and ordered white meat chicken that was completely dry and burnt. After trying to hunt someone down behind the counter, I was told that they will replace it. After 20 minutes, no response and I requested to speak with a manager. After speaking to the manager, I was told it would be 30 more minutes before chicken would be ready. Kind of strange that you don't have chicken at dinner time when you're a chicken restaurant and when most people eat. After such a waste of time, I just requested a refund. It's very insulting when you walk in a restaurant and nobody greets you except for big video screens to place your order. I'm OK with placing an order on a video screen, but not to acknowledge you is very insulting. El Pollo Loco you should take lessons on customer service and quality of food from Chick-fil-A. They told me that they weren't selling crispy tacos when I wanted to order two shredded chicken crispy tacos but they didn't have them. They had to make them. They weren't going to make them and I was SOL. Basically, the story was that they didn't have them and they had to make them when I asked at the window and they were not going to do that. So I had to go down to the Durango location, and I was in and out of the drive up in five minutes with my two crispy tacos and my pollo bowl. In the first place, you have to order everything at the electronic kiosk, which I loath. And if you have problems with your order, you will still need a human to come to assist you with the kiosk. Secondly, when sitting in the dining room the noise from the loud fans droning is 71 decibels. In other words, it is very hard to have a conversation or eat peacefully in this restaurant. So daughter ordered 3 Chicken avocado street tacos and all were soggy and cold. She ended up getting a tortilla from the fridge to make up for the inedible soggy tortillas. The side of chopped chicken breast was cold. Only the beans were warm in the Grande avocado bowl. We did not get any chips with our chips and guacamole order and overall it was very disappointing.
