I went to the drive through at 2:30, jacob was helping me with this order, and I have a few complaints. I ordered TWO of the three piece, tenders and made sure to tell him I wanted 2 meals and even asked how many house sauce does it come with he said "it comes with 2 each, so 4 total" and I asked him to repeat the order and he said 2. I only got one order at the window and when I tried to explain that I ordered two even tho it didn't get rung up, he told me that they can't make tenders" and only sandwiches since they are closing soon. (it was an hour and a half before closing) another thing is I ordered a fountain drink and when it came with no ice, I asked why and he told me the machines stopped since they are planning on closing. my drink came completely iceless last thing, when I asked for a milkshake he told me the machine is also down??? read more

HHC is utterly awesome! I could just end there, but firstly reviews have to be at least 85 characters, plus I know some of you might want a little more, and so, dear reader...let's get into some more deets! The Hot Chicken sandwich is superb, so crunchy, juicy, and flavorful. I recommend medium heat, that's just perfect and packs a punch even for a crazy spice masochist like me. I highly recommend a side of crinkly fries along with house dipping sauce, or their beautiful creamy coleslaw. Next let's talk about chicken strips and waffles. OMG these chicken strips are huge, and so tender, but also come with a great crunch. Again you have a choice of heat levels, and with these I love to go up to the Buffalo and Spicy levels. I have not dared to try Liftoff level yet lol. This place brings the spice, but it's well done and flavored spice. The waffles are fantastic, have a great texture and also very sweet, but perfect combined with a little maple syrup. Chicken and waffles became a favorite of mine travelling down South, and this is the perfect way to fix cravings I get for that from time to time. One nice touch I love is the little flags they stick in items that tell you the heat level of each tender/burger. Maybe it's required due to a lawsuit because damn HHC knows how to bring the spice! I generally do take out from here, but it's a nice clean store inside and always had friendly service inside or via the drive through, definitely no complaints there either. This is fried chicken done right, and this location a gem for those of us in the NW of the city, just beware you might end up addicted. Came in for dinner. We were greeted and helped by two employees. It had been awhile since we were here and needed to review the menu. Employees were patient and helpful! First timers!! We've been wanting to try this place for such a long time - but it was worth the wait! First I want to shout out Keshaun. He greeted us and took the time to explain the menu, options, and spice levels. Plus the great chefs! We ordered the Chicken Sandwich meal that has an extra tender, fries and a Mac n cheese + extra slaw. Sandwiches were great size, chicken is also great size as well as tender. We tried mild and buffalo. Both delicious. Mac n cheese tastes actually cheesy, not plastic. Slaw was fresh(you can always tell when it's been there a while.) Everything was seriously delicious! My wife and kids dined here on a Saturday evening, with less than a half dozen other patrons in the store. We waited for more than 30 minutes for our food, while the drive through customers were steadily being served. When our food finally arrived at our table, all of our chicken and fries were as if they had just been brought out from the refrigerator! While the manager and server were polite, and apologized, it still did not fix our terrible dinner, or experience. I would not recommend this place, nor return to give it another try. Don't over estimate your heat tolerance like I did! Im sure it would have been tasty if I could actually taste it but "spicy" was too much for me (LOL). They lose stars bc I was in the drive thru behind 3 cars for TWENTY MINUTES before the line moved forward. Additionally, I only ordered a sandwich and drink but they charged me for the meal. Great food, great service! This was my daughter's first time and she got a Classic Sandwich with Medium heat. She rated it a 10/10 and she is extremely picky. My wife got the Fusion Fries and rated them 9.5 and I agree. I got the 15 pc with mild and I rate it a 10! I have to say their Mild is on point.
