I ordered from this location for the first time on DoorDash. Almost $100 order, just to received the wrong burger. I received one of the burgers with bacon and Jalapeños which I didn't mind I was still going to eat it. Two bites into the burger I felt a hard piece of something which I thought it was the bacon, to my surprise it was a piece of black plastic. I had ordered burgers for my kids and good thing that plastic was on my burger and not my kids. Horrible experience totally ruined our meal. Will not be eating from this burger place ever again. I used to love this place but not after tonight. Not sure why it was so bad tonight but not sure that I will be back. I ordered a Bacon burger for the first time. It had NO bacon on it and there was maybe 1/2 tsp of bbq sauce. It was so dry that I added ketchup in hopes that the burger would not be as dry. Less dry but tastes even worse. I had to toss the burger. That's $11 down the drain. And the fries that are normally fantastic were hard. Total of $17.44 out the window. The service was so great the guys there really took care of us! They treated my nephew so kind and gave him extra fries. This was my first time and i came with my sister. As far as the food our mistake was that we got it to go. No doubt it would have been 10x better. By the time we got it home it was a soggy mess and falling apart. Typically I don't leave good reviews for large businesses because I don't recieve any sort of really amazing service and so I feel no need. But I jsut want to highlight this specific crew. My wife and I came here to eat dinner and they were packed, multiple DoorDash orders and everyone was working hard. We waited about 15-20 mins which to me, isn't very long. After getting our order and eating, the manager came over to apologize. I really appreciated that, especially since in my opinion it wasn't even a big deal. On National French Fry Day (second Friday in July), Five Guys was a logical choice since they are one of the few fast food restaurants that don't treat their fries like an unloved, red-headed stepchild. They use freshly cut potatoes from Idaho that are only grown north of the 42nd parallel, that's how picky they are. These morsels are hand cut, boiled in water to reduce starch level, and patterned after East Coast 'boardwalk fries' which are crunchy outside with a soft potato texture inside, visible potato skin on the ends, and fried in 100% refined peanut oil. (medical note for those with peanut allergies: the refining process makes this oil safe for consumption). Speaking of peanuts, the bushels of complimentary goobers inside each 5 Guys franchise are there just to sort of distract customers and give them something to do for a moment, since their food is being cooked to order and takes a bit longer than other places. Nice touch! There's no skimping on quality and even the burgers are fresh, never frozen. Not a single freezer at any of their locations, only coolers. Have to admit I'm not a frequent flier with Cinco Chicos because their food does have large amounts of sodium, saturated fat, and calories...but it is a treat to order some of their superior spuds on occasion. It is really hard to have a good burger when you end up with soggy letture to wrap your burger, five guys has the best idea by serving it in a container with the lettuce next to the burger and all the condiments on the side. The caramelized onions and mushrooms were hiding under the burger and it was perfectly cooked. Also the place was surprisingly spotless for a fast food resteraunt. It's been awhile since I have been to FG's. Let's face it, it can be costly. But every once in awhile it's nice to customize your own burger. Their fries are good, but are $6 good? I mean, they're potatoes cooked in peanut oil. Must be a high profit margin item. I chose the little bacon burger and even that was pricey at $9. Only price that seemed normal was the regular drink at almost $3. Since it was just me today, my meal cost $18. Just seems $4 too high. Frugal I am. So my burger tasted how I imagined it would when I created it. Fresh jalapeños, lettuce, tomato, pickles, mayo, mustard, and bacon. Really good. I will say that they do give you alot of fries. And I received my order in a timely manner. I like FG's for the occasional burger that I don't have to cook myself and is as healthy as a burger is going to get. Talked to manager Keira and she stated she would refund me monies for fries. Never did. We went in, ordered 2 hamburgers, fries and drinks. Bill over 30 dollars. Fries greasy n cold. Took them right back up to counter. 30 minutes later, still no replacement for fries. Had to wait at counter for another 5-10 minutes. Hamburgers already eaten. Fries still greasy, but warm. Instead of providing us with new fries, they continued to fill their to go orders. Poor management!!!!!! Would NEVER eat there again and management staff liars!! Will attempt to contact cooperate offices, but not sure they will refund the monies for fries either!! Do not eat here if you want good food!!!! Their service is always amazing from the second you walk in. Everyone greets you like you're the mayor. The food, well the burgers I honestly can say are a bit overrated and overpriced. They're not bad, but they're not amazing either. The fries however; cajun specifically, are absolutely amazing. Plus, they're always over generous with the amount of fries they give you. This was my first visit to Five Guys (heard the French fries were amazing) and I was very impressed! I walked in and was immediately greeted by all of the staff. The restaurant is very clean. Was down the street at the Nordstrom Rack and was getting hungry. Remembered that Five Guys was nearby and I enjoy their food, so over the bridge and thru the woods and made the short walk thru desert heat to the store. Typical "one in the door" greeting and boxes of peanuts ... Kyanna was working the register , took my order. She asked if I was a veteran, probably because my grunt style shirt and hat. I replied that I was and she offered me a medium (I guess although it looked large) cup for a free beverage. She said it's the least they could do since they don't do military discounts. That was a super nice touch! Totally unexpected. Picked up my burger and fries in a few minutes and hoovered those bad boys right down. Food quality, good as always. I love the way the bun decomposes into the burger lol. Sorry, no pictures..how exciting could the burger picture be? As a side note, I watched patrons literally filling up their paper bags with peanuts before walking out. Sure I'm sure that many folks take a handful especially if they were the ones left on the table, but going up to the boxes and literally taking 8-9 scoops (yes I counted) was just rude. Came here for the first time on a weeknight. I knew they had peanuts and fry their fries in peanut oil, so we could never go with the entire fam, since one of my kids has a peanut allergy. Well, that kid was working and we wanted to go out to celebrate a mini milestone. The inside looked like in n out- checkered floor, white walls, and clean. They have a box of peanuts out for you to self-serve if you wish to eat some salted peanuts. They don't have any combo numbers so you have to actually choose what you want on your burger and order your fries/drink separately. It was nice to be able to customize the burger. It was pretty expensive though. We got two large fries and they gave us an excessive amount, which I guess is what they're known for, according to my kid. It was a lovely meal. The staff seemed to enjoy working with each other. It happened to be one of their birthdays and they sang happy birthday to the birthday girl, Jordan. Good staff morale. As I walked into the restaurant, I was instantly greeted by the entire crew, and that totally set the mood, which made me feel welcome to enjoy my meal. The restaurant has its 80s diner feel to it. I have decided to grab a little cheeseburger with mushrooms, grilled onions, lettuce, and tomatoes. I appreciate the fact that you can choose the toppings that you want in your burger. The burger patty was beefy and less salty, and the bun was really soft. However, the onions could be better if they were caramelized. 5 guys can be expensive so I don't go very often but I never have any issues with this location. The employees are always so nice, a couple months ago my boyfriend and I were followed into your store by a road rage driver who was angry I gave him a small little honk to encourage him to go at an empty green light. We didn't feel safe but we were going to 5 guys anyways and I let the cashier know and they ensured we would be fine and they would help handle the situation if he tried to get aggressive. In short the guy realized how dumb he was but I commend your employees for helping their customers feel safe. I laugh because I doubt the guy was planning on going to 5 guys and his anger ended up costing him money in the end. Alternatively, I showed up tonight to take some food to go and all of the employees were so nice, it's may 2nd 2024 so whoever you show on the schedule for tonight please let them know a customer was happy with them. On Sunday, 1/21/24, shortly after you opened, I witnessed a female worker who was manning the grill, slightly turn to face the back wall, took her right gloved hand and proceeded to twist her two nose rings around. When she finished adjusting her nose rings, she then turned back to face the counter and placed her hand on the food prep counter. She never changed her gloves.
