Had my grandson and his wife pick up el pollo loco 2200 university Ave Riverside ca 92507 and the food was as wonderful as always. Oscar G was the person who took the order and his service was above beyond what was expected. everything was packed in non leak containers with plenty of salsa and all the side sauces. the salad was fresh and yummy and plenty for 4 of us. always love the beans and rice. Why wouldn't they prepare one of their main items in advance? While waiting for my order, I saw three other families come in and leave after being told there was no chicken ready either. It felt like this place doesn't care about retaining customers. To make matters worse, the staff laughed after informing people that there was no food ready. I come here frequently and am always treated with respect and prompt service from everyone whether going inside or using the drive thru. They are very organized here and ask you questions about your order and go over everything to make sure it's correct. It's very clean inside too and the salsa bar is clean as well as the drink area Also since I usually use the drive thru a special shout out to the amazing and efficient Jennifer. She is so personable and friendly and efficient, makes you feel like your order is the most important thing in the world , and for me that's wonderful. I have been coming here a lot more often now for my work. The boss likes the chicken tortilla soup I can say that now that I'm coming inside, I feel like they're working hard and they are definitely keeping me happy I dumped her soup one day on my way back to the office and they made it right. I'm here today just for myself and I realized that they have turned my opinion around a lot, thankfully! I don't like driving down to the other location lol Service is so much better and one newer cashier even recognized me! I like the inside even though I almost never eat here, I will be today.
