I love Pollo Loco but this one is the worst. Today placed an order at the drive through and used a $20 credit I redeemed on my ap. They scanned the QR and it beeped so we are good. Then the kid says oh it didn't go through. I went to hit redeem again and it says I can redeem twice. Kid calls the "manager" over and she says she can't just give me $20 off so I drove over to KFC instead. I am a very unhappy customer and they have 3 special order meals they get to dispose of. Technology fail and poor customer service. Obviously someone that has earned a $20 redemption spends a lot of money with them and I do. Every month or 2 I spend around $300 feeding the staff at my work. On prior visits here I have gotten wrong orders, missing items, charred and dried out wings and subpar service. They are 50/50 at best. Today the kid at the window was nice and did nothing wrong. Maybe he got to eat one of the double chicken tostadas but he was probably the one who had to throw my food in the trash. So sad. read more

Unbelievable, I order 1 chicken bowl. 20 min later the order still wasent ready. I asked the cashier at the counter for my money back. I also asked her why it was taking so long and why all the drive through clearly took the priority. She said I don't know, I'm sorry and walked away. I don't even know what else to say. Every time I go to pollo loco I ask for extra salsas never got what I ask for and on top it of one of the salsas was nearly empty. If your order anything double it always seems to be just a couple extra pieces of chicken and sometimes even like it's a different part of the chicken they don't normally use. I don't blame the employees if I'd have to guess it's on the management. All I'm saying is do better. At the very least get the customer what ever simple request a customer asks for. Went by tonight and got a couple chicken burritos and some tacos. The chicken in all the items was so over cooked and hard it was impossible to eat. First they don't have nachos even though it is a highlighted item on their menus. Then the stuff we get is inedible. El Apollo Loco has good fast food, but you can't get it here. Out of the last 5 times I came here, they didn't have chicken ready 3 of those times. Seriously they have chicken less than 50% of the time here! I keep swearing to myself that I will call next time before I commit to driving here. El Pollo Loco has good chicken options and I especially like the white meat with their marinade. They have an Assistant Manager "Jake" at the location my family frequents and he really stands out and seems to care about doing what he can to make for a good customer experience. Even when we forget to call the day before with a large family order for when our grandkids visit. Really appreciate a good meal from someone who understands what we are asking for when ordering. Realized I've never left a review, I'm here all the time. Obsessed with all the chicken and avocado choices there. Nothing hits better than a yummy chicken burrito with everything, and the green sauce!!!, Don't get me started, it was fresh and hot, done RIGHT. And the dining room is always clean, hard to find nowadays , very happy to come in on my lunch break if I've got time, modern decor, there is a bar height counter you can sit family style or tables as well. I've never had a problem finding chicken here LoL, I'm here 2-3x week. I do get salads there too that are ), drive thru or going inside, staff is always attentive and greeting you immediately. I normally like El Pollo for a quick semi healthy fast food meal, but this location is terrible. Overcooked chicken - to the point of my husband saying "it's like chicken jerky" and me biting into a piece so hard it was like a rock and hurt my teeth. He had a salad that was not good at all. I had a burrito that was supposed to have "chopped chicken, red cabbage, cotija cheese, creamy cilantro dressing, organic spinach, avocado slices, and pico de gallo salsa" in it. What it actually had was all terrible chicken and a few shreds of iceberg lettuce, and at one end, a slice of avocado and maybe a teaspoon of pico. It was an expensive burrito that I hated. Not at all what was supposed to be in it. I have eaten here before and the food was not good either. I will never return to this location near my house. My husband went and picked up an 8 piece meal for some family we had over and when he returned home it was like they had nothing left but chicken scraps to throw in our to go bag. If I could put negative 5 (-5*)review , I would . After a hard day of house spring/summer cleaning this Saturday we Went to get food for two via drive through . We each had one thigh , one leg, beans and salad for sides . A very nice young lady took our order . We came home and the chicken was dry as it's inside bone . The skin and the top layer was burnt. It was very clear that the chicken was fried twice ,and no flavor and juice left in it . We were too exhausted to go back . Ordered delivery pizza and all we ate was the salad till the pizza arrived . It was not even fit for our dogs ! Though they smelled the food , I stripped about 10 percent of the thigh and gave it to my dog and she left 1/2 of it there in her dish ! I now see the reviews and know why ! Okay, so I'm warming back up to this place. I normally order just tortilla soup because I've had many issues with other items, but I've ordered some of the tacos that have been good and today I got the double chicken tostada bowl and the stuffed avocado quesadilla, and despite not finding much cheese in the quesadilla which seemed odd, the food was all pretty good. I'm still not going to order any meals that contain pieces of chicken because I noticed that they still looked super small, but sticking to other items, I'm happy with this place. Of course they did bribe me with a buy one get one deal so $7 to feed three people from two items made all the difference and $14 for what I got wouldn't have been nearly as good, but it did put this place back on my radar. read more

Jessica, My husband and I have both emailed corporate and he has called several times and left voicemails at corporate. Most recently he spoke to Nicole and she confirmed we didn't get the food and said our money would be refunded. It has been over two weeks and we have not been refunded called back or emailed back. Okay. So we show up. Drive thru is blocked off and the doors are locked. I have been avoiding writing a review and giving this place a few chances to be better. However, the management is definitely not doing their job by training staff appropriately. Starting with customer service, staff appear to be annoyed by customers specially when you request condiments, or advice them they have your order incorrect. Today our salad had brown avocado that was disgusting and anybody would know you should not serve it and it should be in the trash, but instead it ended on our salad. Our gravy was half empty, and with a messy container full of gravy on the outside, it appeared to be old and maybe sitting out for a while. No dressing for my salad and disappointment when you arrive home. The taste of the food was mediocre. Management really needs to get it together, staff need to be trained on how to treat customers. read more

Three workers were behind the counter ignoring customers. There was no one taking customer's orders. One of the customers in line asked "is anybody taking orders?"
