WTH happened here? This place used to be decent now the service is completely non-existent. They forgot items, offered nothing but "it'll be a few more minutes" when I didn't get the food I paid for. Then the food I had to wait extra time for comes out and it just sits there on the counter while the employees all chit chat. And no it wasn't busy. At all. The tables and floor were disgustingly dirty. We had to ask for gravy for the mashed potatoes and it was apparently nothing but hot water with brown food coloring. We won't be back. Ever. read more

Consistently terrible, no matter how many times I try this place there is always something wrong. Today I got a tostada salad but apparently I asked for a shredded chicken tostada soup. I didn't even know they made soups. So I'm guessing it's the same thing as a tostada salad all the same ingredients but they shred chicken and then pour a bunch of water from the beans in there. I don't recommend the tostada can't hold the water and it turns to mush. Presentation is terrible. I do get its fast food though so I guess that's what I should expect. I got the Loco without the El Pollo experience last night. I do not recommend dine in. I was here last night Wednesday at 8pm. Decided to go at the counter instead of the drive thru thinking it would be faster. Even though inflation has nearly doubled El Pollo Loco's chicken prices and have noticeably shrunk in size, still decided to give it a try. I was about to pay when the nice guy at the counter told me I have to wait 45 minutes for the chicken. I had to make him repeat it. They were out of chicken. Well not so, because the supervisor at the drive thru who could not roll her eyes fast enough, was prioritizing and saving it for her drive thru customers. She looked at me as if Im a nuisance. Isn't there more revenue in dine-in versus drive thru due to added sales tax? And what's with the eye rolling attitude from the drive thru supervisor? You're the one without the chicken? Came through the drive thru for lunch. Brought it home to my family. Taco Al carbons made with huge chunks of the driest chicken breast. I've had these before and have always had them with chicken thighs. Not sure if they ran out of chicken. But also my brcs the tortillas were burnt and inedible. I was in the area and wanted to get a quick bite to eat. I really wanted to try a burrito without the meat because I'm on this no meat kick right now. I ordered the chicken avocado burrito without the chicken. Well, to my disappointment, they made it with the chicken. I'm sure it's because they make so many of them that it is automatic to add the chicken... However, if someone ordered it without they should pay closer attention to that order. What would have happened if I was allergic to chicken? It's possible? But being this is my first couple of weeks without meat and there really wasn't that much in it I didn't trip... But the next if it happens, we might be having a different type of conversation. Plus it was pouring down rain! I was not turning around. Be good guys while you're out there on your food adventure. This location has gone down hill for the last few years. Right off the bat, employees make you feel like an inconvenience as soon as you walk in. Tables were dirty and there was trash underneath tables. Mind you, this was late afternoon and no one was in there. I work in the food industry and take pride in what I do.
