Ok, so the food was good, the staff was very nice and we didn't let the language barrier get in our way. The only reason I'm giving this establishment a 2-star is because one of the workers was cutting cake and putting them in the to go boxes. She had one glove on and after she wiped the cake off the knife she licked her glove and continued transferring the cake without changing gloves. Because of the language barrier I was trying to tell her that she can't do that, she lied and said she didn't do that after the other staff came over. That was very disgusting and although the food was good, I'd probably never go back...God only knows what's going on in the kitchen. read more

I've ordered from here before, but today it was 2 thumbs down. I had grilled chicken which was ok. The mexican rice was nasty. How do you have undercooked & overcooked rice in the same container? My hunny had fried pork chops. He said they smelled funny. The black beans were very soft & mushy. This must have been food leftover from Saturday. The tres leches cake was good. Hi Everyone. I love Mexican food. Like LOVE Mexican food, and so because I work around here I figured I would get a tex mex dish for lunch. A Burrito! Well I have to say I was super disappointed. For several reasons. One being that they charge different prices on different days. My co-worker got a burrito with steak for 9 bucks. They charged me 12.95. Also the burrito was lettuce, bland rice, beans and meat. No guacamole, No sour cream, No cheese. It was incredibly boring. I thought, well maybe if I get breakfast it will be better. An egg and cheese shouldn't be that much right? They charged me 7 dollars for an egg and cheese and an ice coffee(not a large ice coffee by the way). The egg and cheese as you will see on their menu is 2.95, and they charged me 4.50. It's really disappointing actually. I find businesses that pick and choose what they charge for people is really insulting. It's also cheating customers. Let's just say I ended up going to a very cool, clean deli down the block and got a bacon, egg and cheese, seltzer water, and a LARGE Ice coffee and it totaled to 6 dollars. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant based on the blandness of it, and the principle. They claim to have a spot around Atlantic Ave now. God only knows what they are charging there. If you want Great Mexican food at a super inexpensive price. I mean Amazing it's a bit out of the way depending on where you live, but swing by there one day and you'll be hooked. Horrible service. I ordered for French toast and eggs. They didn't send any syrup and when I called, the employees answering the phone insisted she packed syrup. She puts me on hold, and I can hear her whispering in Spanish about the syrup being out of stock. She then gets back on the phone and declares that they are out of syrup. Which one is it? I don't care for getting lied to when I'm spending close to $30, being charged a delivery fee, and still tipping 20% on top of that. Never again. read more

Breakfast here is great. I always get their oatmeal and the egg platter. It's extremely hot in there so I recommend take out and the staff are rude at times. On a slow day the waitress would have an attitude when you're asking her if your order is ready. I also tried their burritos for dinner and it was alright. I was very unhappy with the service here. I placed an order for a breakfast sandwich and chose french fries as a free side with my sandwich. When the order arrived there were no french fries. When I called to inquire about the missing french fries I was told that the order didn't come with fries....uhhhh so why is it on the website??? When I mentioned that she told me that it was a mistake. So why didn't anyone call me to let me know?? Not to mention the delivery guy went to the wrong house at first!! When I told her that I was unhappy all she had to offer was that she would tell me next time. No comp...no coupon...no nothing. Clearly customer service is not a strength. Ive eaten here twice, and ordered two tortas and a peanut butter banana smoothie. My first torta came with breaded chicken, and cannot have been healthy with all the mayo and what have you. BUT, it was delicious and I ate every last bit of it. The bread is on point. The most recent time I ate here I ordered a peanut butter smoothie, and fake-offered my boyfriend some before drinking the entire thing. I also ate a vegetarian torta, very delicious again. I like this restaurant, and I always like a place that starts off my meal with free chips and salsa. The chips are nice and warm. The servers here are nice, and it's usually uncrowded on Saturday nights. read more

When I want a chicken taco for dinner and I need to order in this is the place for me. Delivery does take long, but they will deliver to me, even though I'm pretty far away, which I am grateful for. The delivery fee is kind of crazy, but then again the distance is a pain for their delivery guy especially when we are talking about a 3 dollar taco, so I suppose it is kind of fair. And you know what? The chicken tacos, burritos, and tostadas are so crave worthy that sometimes nothing else will do, so yeah...I'll pony up the extra four bucks for that. I always order from this place when I want a real mexican fix. The deliver to my area so I always order from seamless with them. The only bad thing is that they now charge a $4 additional delivery fee which seems a bit much to me. I think the delivery guys get the short end of the stick since you don't want to tip as much since they are charging you an extra $4. I do like their carnitas burrito, but sometimes it can be a little too fatty...I know that it is fatty, but serval chunks of just fat don't appeal to me. The guacamole and chips is great, and I love the tacos, the carne asada and al pastor. I also like the desserts. The tres leches cake is very good. It has fruit on the inside with the filling which I don't care for much, but its still good. I also just had the tiramisu, and for a mexican restaurant it was good. The best Mexican cuisine in my immediate area. They do deliver but there's always something wrong when you do i.e. cold food, incorrect order, etc. If you decide to dine here I would suggest eating in or picking up for take out. We were filming in the Area and decided to have Cast and Crew have lunch there. The food was great, delicious, fresh...what else can I say. The staff was also awesome. We had told them the food would need to be ready for when we arrived and it was. We all enjoyed it so much that we went back there again the following day. I would highly recommend eating there. Waited too long for delivery, thought the delivery was free and they added a $4 delivery charge, as if I wasn't going to leave a tip. My "super quesadillas" were very misleading as If I didn't know that just stood for a double-order and for some reason got charged twice. I had high expectations when I walked in here and did not leave disappointed despite the lack of beer (I am tempted to ask if BYOB is possible). I decided to go with a hot black coffee to go with my hot chili as was usual during my days in Las Cruces, NM and Juarez. I ordered the green enchiladas. This is the best I've had with the exception of my own dinner table. The hotness did not outweigh the subtle flavors and I finished off the meal with a tall glass of cold horchata. Ordered a dish and the chicken was raw!!.when i tried to bring it back, the cashier had a disgusting attitude, telling me that the cook will refuse to refund my money because i ate half of the disk, and that "people do this all the time."
