Very nice supermarket with an inviting atmosphere! Super clean, spacious isles, friendly service, especially at the fast food taco area and tortilleria! The fruit water selections and juice bar is outstanding and delicious! Prices in the grocery sections are fair overall but a little on the higher side. If looking for a Mexican condiment, grocery or produce, you'll most likely find it here.

Nice store. I like the food court there for Mexican food. I also like the seafood section. Very good price!

All of the produce is clearly fresh and in its organic form - no paper/plastic packaged, greasy food like you find at Walmart.

I see that it has been several years since my original review, so it is time for an update…read more I like this place very much. It's a small grocery store with a smaller eatery on the side that serves tacos, empanadas, quesadillas, and things like that. I like this store because I can find Mexican-related products that I cannot find elsewhere. There is a spice section that I love. There is also a meat market but I never bought meat here. Maybe I will in the future, I think skirt steak would be a good choice. They used to have mole starter but I did not look for it this time. There are, of course, volumes of avocado, limes, lemons, and peppers. We found Topo Chico when every other store around us had none. Prices are very reasonable. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that the cashier was really unfriendly when we checked out. Maybe she was having a bad day. Maybe she did not know English, not sure. Anyway, as a niche store this place is perfect for my needs.

I wanted to buy cooked meat by the pound, but barely got through with the little Espanol I know. What bothers me most was when I asked for the condiments, the guy told me they ran out and he won't make me any. It was only 6PM and they close at 9PM. I don't get it, he was making pico de gallo. He could just give me some cilantro, onion, and tomatoes for my tacos. I can only get the pico de gallo if I pay for it. RUDE!!! It's free at other Michoacana with your food. Anyways, La Michoacana has pretty good cooked meat and they are cheap. This particular location has an elotes cart outside of the store. This place inspired me to learn Spanish. I went home that night and download a Duolingo app. Hola amigos!!

It's located inside of a retail strip/courtyard. It was high noon and HOT so I was excited for a cool drink. The staff were sweet. You could tell they loved their jobs. Upon entering I noted their fridge with options to purchase milks and other small grocery finds. My absolute favorite part of the cafe was their prayer wall where patrons left all kinds of prayer requests. I got teary eyed reading the vulnerability and pleas from those needing prayers. It was beautiful! I ordered the banana and blueberry iced matchas with cold foam, both half sweet. I think I'll try them again with their full sweet option and see if I could taste the flavors better. Not going to dock them though, it was my choice to modify.

Getting inside was a tiny bit confusing since it's part of a larger complex and not immediately obvious where to go, but once I figured it out, everything was smooth sailing. The staff was friendly and respectful, and service was impressively fast. My mom and I stepped outside for literally a minute after ordering, and when we came back, our drinks were already ready. That said, it did taste a bit like a rush order. Drinks: * Coffee: solid and enjoyable--no complaints there. * Matcha: unfortunately mediocre. Dallas isn't exactly a matcha city, and this one confirmed it. Very lip-smacking and not something I'd order again. Vibe: Where this place really shines. Super cute ambiance, great music playing, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. There were plenty of people working behind the counter--even during a slower moment--so it feels like they could easily handle a crowd. Food: Didn't try it this time, but everything looked great and there was a nice variety. Overall, I'd 100% come back, especially to work or relax. I'd just skip the matcha next time and stick to coffee. Fantastic ambiance, good service, and a space that makes you want to stay awhile
