Even though we were not hotel guests and they were aware of that, we were also charged a 20% service charge "for room charges only" that was calculated against full prices, not what was paid for happy hour. Hopefully that went to the bartender since nothing more was added. What started out as a place I was recommending to locals after my first visit, now just feels like any other hotel restaurant / bar where they feel they have a captive audience and don't have to try as hard. First of all, I've never heard of a group of six getting charged a large group fee. Generally eight or more. Second, you should tell the table that you've already added that 20% on there. It feels disgusting and like you just lied and hid a fee on us. The food definitely was not worth the amount of money that we paid for it that day. I definitely will not be returning after that experience.
