Pretty good for a "fast food" type of place. Cozy little spot. Staff is friendly and food was tasty. Salsas are good as well. We had the birria taco a la plancha and a quesabirria taco. The birria is really tasty and the meat is tender and juicy (how some other places manage to make birria dry, which is basically a stewed meat, baffles me) and very tasty. Flavors were on point and the tortilla was nice and crispy without being overly greasy. The quesabirria was just as delicious with the cheese adding another layer of flavor without taking over the entire flavor profile. Too much cheese can indeed be a bad thing as I've experienced at other places. Not here enough cheese to know it's there and complement the flavors without washing them out. Tacos al pastor were good, I'd like to taste just a little more of the marinade/seasoning. Otherwise well cooked pork, crispy tortilla for a little extra bite and like I said before the salsas are good and pay respect to the meat you're putting them on. Torta de carne asada was delicious, Tortas always get extra love from me if they are done right. This place does them right. In my opinion all tortas should be done on a telera style roll like this place does. The roll was soft, fresh, very light and held up well to all the toppings. We got it with everything, mayo, lettuce, tomato, onions, guac and beans, carne asada was the protein. Everything was good and meshed well in this torta. Would definitely come here to satisfy my after work torta cravings, yes I am a torta guy. Aguas frescas. They have a variety of aguas frescas which we were offered a sample of. Not sure if that's the norm or just because it wasn't very busy when we happened to stop by. I had my eye set on the watermelon lemonade which I decided on after sampling. My wife asked about the pineapple water and the pineapple orange water. We sampled both and immediately became torn between the 3 flavors we sampled. They were all refreshing and delicious and we were told they use only fresh fruit, water and sugar. No syrup of any kind is used. Ultimately watermelon lemonade it was since it was our original choice and first sample. All in all this is a good place to stop by and get a quick bite to eat. They also have a good variety of Mexican sodas. I look forward to trying other dishes and proteins. They also serve breakfast which I'd like to try at some point. read more

Very disappointed with my experience today. I ordered the rib eye tacos. For $21 for 3 tacos, I expect them to put all the ingredients in the taco. I literally got tough chewy meat, avocado and cilantro in a Luke warm tortilla. No grilled onion, no jalapeño, that's listed on the menu description. We were literally the only people in the restaurant at the time, so there is no excuse for screwing up our order. I didn't even end up eating the rest of the tacos. Waste of money. read more

Ordered the chilaquiles with eggs and carne asada tacos through DoorDash. Everything came out flavorful and delicious. Chilaquiles were tasty and the beans tasted fresh. I did order chicken with my chilaquiles and it didn't have any chicken on them :( but I will order again. Guacamole salsa is a must it adds so much flavor with a little kick of spice. read more

The tacos here are literally the best tacos I've ever had . Yes I have had tacos throughout SoCal and Mexico. The shrimp and chicken in particular are amazeballs. We wanted to try something new and found this location. We're so glad we Stopped by the food was delicious. I had the taquito plate my husband had the Asada plate . He's very picky about his food he actually liked it. Customer was great food was out fast and very presentable. I like how they have the salsa bar and toppings. Also the fact you can serve yourself as little or much chips you want. They were so fresh and with a nice crisp to them. The cucumber water yumm We will definitely be back there soon. read more

I ordered a carne asada burrito which is on the pricier end at $14. The burrito was dripping in grease when opened from the wrapper. When eating the burrito all I could taste was the grease. I'm usually not too picky when it comes to tacos/burritos but I unfortunately could not eat more than a few bites. Green salsa is good though. read more

This establishment was really good when it first opened. The last month or so though the quality has dropped down. Breakfast burritos seems to be over packed with potatoes. The Beria Ramen is OK and the salsa is really good. Also says they're open at 6 AM, but I've showed up twice and they were not. Came for the breakfast burritos for a few guys at work. Got here very early (6am) and was out by 15 after with steaming hot burritos. You could smell them cooking it FRESH!! Place is pretty small for dining in but it was clean and the staff was very friendly and informative. Prices were just right too. Great lil gem. Service was good. The spot is little only 3 booths for sitting, a salsa bar and fresh chips. It's clean and well organized for the amount of space they have. The food: the Mulita my husband order he said was good and he enjoyed it. My son ordered the Carne Asada Fries said the only thing he would have changed is no Cheese on them as the taste was not to his liking otherwise says they were good. I ordered the Birria plate with beans and rice. The Birria was very tast, it's a good size serving of meat, when you break up the larger chunks it would be nice if it came automatically with a small 2-4oz serving of the broth as it did get a little dry. I did ask for some of the broth and it was provided. Just an FYI There is not a California Burrito with Fries in it which is why we initially went in. That is listed here on Yelp but that portion of the menu does not exist. The cashier also said we aren't the first ones to go in there asking for it. When I asked if they could make the California burrito as listed on the site with fries, I was told "there isn't a button for it." I asked if he could then substitute the home style potatoes with French fries. offered if we wanted to buy fires separately and then have them added into the burrito which made no sense. Good decent Mexican food is hard to come by, a lot of it is simply not good and overpriced. You'd expect the worse from a gas station restaurant too, not here tho. This food was quite delicious, they weren't your measly tacos, they were nice and hefty and most importantly savory. I was surprised at how good the tacos tasted. Later that week I came by for some asada fries and that's what made me come back and make this my taco spot. Those asada fries were on point and exactly what you think of when you think of asada fries. The price point and food was just right. Please please keep it up. We need good authentic reasonably priced authentic Mexican food. The restaurant felt nice and fresh and clean as well. I'd recommend to go, but they do have booths as well as a salsa station inside. 5/5. Great amiable service as well . read more
