Carne asada quesadilla for both of us. It was alright. Salsa was the star here, in my opinion.

I thought the carne asada meat could have had more flavor. Decent cuts of meat, with no fat or gristle. They give you the option of whether you want it with jalapeños in or on the side. I wish I would have said on the side or not at all. I'm not a fan of pickled jalapeños in a quesadilla, but that's just me. I'd come back to try something else. Salsa was delish and service was excellent.

Delicious yummy affordable no frills Mexican food perfect for after drinking Tequila all night:) Beer available ;) Flavorful menudo w/ lots of meat & hominy. Satisfying chicken quesadilla. Hospitable & professional service. Clean bathrooms. Free easy lot parking. Don't remember the prices exactly but not $20 for menudo. Will definitely return & recommend!

Confort Food! Where to go for my Favorite Mexican food restaurant that serves Albondigas soup (daily) El Rincon Bohemio is the place to go. And that's what I did! The folks who work there are Friendly and outgoing always a plus. The Food is the purpose of this Mission! The morning was Crisp yet warm enough to start with Chips and Salza along with a Beer the perfect start to my meal. Then comes my Entre. My Bowl of Albondigas soup along with a Crispy ground Beef Taco ! Exactly what I was going for. Thanks El Rincon Bohemio for providing me with the perfect meal for this day

I love their albondigas soup, the service, and the ambiance. Very friendly. Feels like a neighborhood family owned restaurant. I am grateful they are here.

I was recently feeling sick and had a craving for albóndiga soup. I found it here and it was so delicious! The broth was savory, the meatballs tender, and vegetables soft. This was such a comfort to me when I was in need of soup. I also appreciated that they gave me some flour tortillas to go with it, and they were still hot when I opened them. I will have to try more items from El Rincón Bohemio--everyone else's pictures look amazing!

One of the best and most authentic Mexican restaurants in Santa Barbara... a hidden gem! Indoor, outdoor, dine-in or takeout, From delicious crispy tacos ( my favorite) to pozole and everything in between. Enjoy!

When it comes to choosing a place in town for the best menudo and pozole this is the place to come to! I've been here many times and ordered their enchiladas, and tacos combo plates which were just ok nothing mind blowing. Hence my reason for 3 stars. It can be hit or miss here depending on what you order. On my latest visit I specifically came to try the pozole because my boss was raving about it. Well El Rincon did not disappoint! Not only do they hook you up with the toppings, but they are very generous with the meat. Many places tend to be stingy when it comes to serving meat in soups, but not this place! The broth was very flavorful, and the meat was melt in your mouth delicious. I have yet to try the menudo but I will definitely come back for it since everyone raves about that too. The best part is they offer menudo and pozole everyday unlike other places where it's only weekends. *****Five stars for the pozole! Customer service here has always been good to me, and the ladies very kind. Parking is a little tight here but there is additional parking at the very end of the Plaza if you can't find one in front of the restaurant. Overall I'm happy this place serves up some delicious authentic pozole, and I can't wait to go back for more!

Los Agaves On De Lavina St. -- A Rare Review from Someone Who Hates Writing Reviews…read moreI spent 25 years owning a business. I know what good service looks like, and I know what entitled looks like. I never write reviews -- I watched Yelp destroy good people over bad nights, and I swore I'd stay out of it. Tonight changed that. I sat at the bar. It took the bartender over five minutes to acknowledge I existed. Another five to ten to deliver a Coke. I ordered dinner and waited forty minutes -- which I might have forgiven, except getting his attention was nearly impossible the entire night. No eye contact. Body language that made clear I was an inconvenience, not a guest. Every interaction felt like I was interrupting something more important. When I finally got him to check on my order, he went to the computer and discovered he'd never placed it. I walked out. I noticed the people around me weren't faring much better. The slowness wasn't just my experience -- it was the room. Los Agaves appears to be a popular place, and maybe on another night with another bartender it earns that reputation. But entitlement has a way of spreading when nobody checks it. I hope management is paying attention -- because a beautiful restaurant dies one invisible guest at a time.

Back to table service! Yay!!!…read more Attractive and very clean restaurant with great service. Truly delicious Mexican food. I love pozole - Cc's rendition is top notch and comes with all the extras to put in the soup including avocado, chopped onion, a whole fried tortilla to break up into the broth and Mexican oregano (the small is more than enough for one hungry person or to share with two).Homemade chips come with a four salsa selection ranging substantially hot to a delicate tomatillo green. I tried my tablemate's tacos, all three varieties were very very good. I've had takeout from here, but it's really worth going in person because the food is nuanced and best when piping hot as it's made.

You order at the counter and are given a buzzer. Prices are HIGH. A single taco starts at $5.95 for sweet potato, then goes as high as $10.95 for one taco. They make their own blue corn tortillas from scratch, so that your tacos will be on freshly griddled tortillas. Al pastor is my favorite so I had to get one of those ($6.95). This was probably the most disappointing al pastor I have ever had. It was burnt and very salty and the flavor seemed a bit off. Some of the pineapple was not ripe. I'm glad that my husband pushed me to order another taco - this one the corriente - a shrimp taco ($8.95). This was infinitely better, with perfectly cooked shrimp. If I had just ordered this taco, my review would have been higher! Maybe I came on an off day, because other reviews seem to like the al pastor. The tortillas are terrific and I would be curious to try other tacos on their menu.

He gave us some great advice on what to order and we enjoyed every bit of it! There was also another gentleman that brought out the umbrella for us since it was getting sunny. We had a couple workers walk by without asking, but he was so kind enough to make us comfortable. The drinks we ordered were so refreshing. We ordered the Costa Blanca, De Aqui, and the Bengala de Granada. The drinks were so crisp that it almost felt like a palette cleanser. The yellowtail crudo was perfectly balanced between sweet and citrusy. The oysters looked spicy but were pleasantly mild! The octopus was tender and soft.
