Foods ok but every time I place a phone order they want me to pay on the phone and when I ask if I could pay cash or in person because I'm not comfortable giving my card information over the phone they say "Yeah but we aren't starting your order til you get here." Incredibly rude service. The food was ice cold like it was pulled out of a freezer then served in taco format. Go to the local del taco for something better. I soaked myself in Gatorade as I left in a form of victory celebration, swearing I'd never go back. Just plain mean staff. I get it, we all have bad days, but her, every day is a bad day. Stay lit fam. Anejo 4 ever. I'll spend my unemployment money elsewhere. Yaaaaas qweeen! If you want to find one of the worlds best street burrito look no further.. California burrito is especially good... stuffed with fries, sour cream and guacamole and your choice of meat.. the staff always keeps the line moving which is especially great for lunchtime but if you don't wanna wait in line I suggest you order ahead for pick up quick and easy read more

Oh my, their steak super burritos are absolutely fabulous! The fact that they are filled with whole beans instead of refried beans makes them much more satisfying. I love everything about them...the size, the price, the meat, the salsa...you name it, EVERYTHING! I always shoot to finish the whole burrito, but I always fall short of making that happen (just a few bites shy). I try though. I hear great things about the shrimp tacos and I really do wish I could get myself to try them just to see if they live up to the expectation BUT I just don't like seafood so I will never truly know. I have no doubt that they are as good as described so anyone that does like seafood should give them a try. I'm a Petaluma local so I typically visit that taco truck instead of or the restaurant. To be honest though, the burritos at both taco trucks are better than the ones served at the restaurant. Oh man, have to do it again. This is another home town favorite that i just cannot get on board with. They even have three food trucks pumping this stuff out. I have never tried a food truck that i loved and this would be no different. I even stoped at the Restaurant in Petaluma thinking that the food would be the shining example of the food. Most of it was good, the veggies, rice, beans,.... nothing to brag about though. The meat is what got me. The sauce was a nice traditional Mexican mix over some sub par meat. I even tried multiple cuts with the same confusion. Obviously they don't need my opinion to make a living. read more

Today, I ordered one taco al pastor, two tacos de asada and tres tacos de tripa. The tacos de asada had no seasoning, tacos de al pastor were ok, and tacos de tripa weren't well cooked (asked for the it to be bien doradas. I give them 3 stars because they do give you a lot of meat, but food wasn't that great. read more

A coworker turned me on to this food truck and I'm now addicted to tacos dorados. These crunchy tacos are EVERYTHING! Generous in size at a super affordable price. They're so good I keep failing to get a photo because I just dive right in. Filled with cheese, beans, meat of your choice and topped with a ton of delicious cotija cheese. Lettuce, tomato, radishes and the best red tangy and spicy chipotle sauce are served on the side. Parking is limited but there is a large lot across the street. Call ahead is available. Yummy we have Elroy's the truck near the park on Santa Rosa ave at least 2 or more times a week lol ... so yummy thrilled they are so close and we can walk there. Rain or shine there there sometimes it's packed sometimes it's not but the food is always yummy young staff always happy sweet sweet workers ... I love the stamp card whoop whoop .... The fresh paved parking lot is so nice too .. they never ever leave a mess it's always so clean and sanitized stocked well with drinks and perfect amount of ice on drinks .... Workers always dressed to empress ... they are good group of workers at this truck always happy to see who is working ... they are very thuro. With making your order just how u ask them to... the manager is often on sight very nice man very understanding calm when he talks to his workers he doing great job teaching them how he wants things done .. we love Elroy's read more

I had no clue this place was sooooo close to where I live! I had been going to Petaluma to get my El Roy's fix. The Petaluma staff directed me to come here instead. And I am so glad! When I drove up I realized that this was the original truck that used to be in Novato a couple years back! And the folks here even remembered me (not sure if that is a good or bad thing lol). The food is just as good as all the other locations and i am still obsessed with the super shrimp burritos! Except I overheard someone add some streak to their burrito so I decided to add chicken, hohoho that was a brilliant idea. They made my burrito even better! They're open for lunch as well which is a huge plus in my book. The food is always consistent and super flavorful. You're missing out if you go across the street to that other food truck! read more

Music was playing but we found only three trucks open and serving lunch on this Wed. I saw a churro truck but sadly it was closed too. We visited all three trucks to check out their menus and I decided to order a quesadilla at Lucha Sabina. Some people near us were enjoying something called a Tlayuda from this same truck and it looked amazing! I will have to give that a try next time with my husband because it is big enough to serve two. I had heard that the mushroom tacos were delicious so I asked if they could make a mushroom quesadilla and she said yes. She mentioned avocado would make it extra tasty so of course I added it. I'm so glad she offered that up because it was a key ingredient in my yummy quesadilla. It was grilled perfectly and I was all smiles from the first bite. This place was a hit with all my buddies too. We liked that they gave us each a beeper so we could sit down and chat until our food was ready. My friends all enjoyed their selections but none of us tried anything exotic, just tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. People working were very personable and helpful. We'll have to come back during dinner hour as I'm sure there will be more food trucks warming up their grills to satisfy everyone's cravings.

It was still nice and crispy. He also had the octopus taco and a shrimp taco and he seemed to really like them. I am sorry I can't give you 5 stars Charro Negro and I hate to ruin your 5 star run, but someone needs to ease up on the sauce so that you can actually taste the good quality food that you are preparing.

I asked for two sides of baked beans and they were the best baked beans I've ever had...so flavorful with a little spicy kick. The original brew master became the co-owner when the winery left the beer business in 2003. It was then moved this location in 2004, opening as a brewpub. It's been on my list of places to visit for a while, so my wife, her mom, and I took the opportunity to stop in for a Thursday night dinner on our way to San Francisco from Fort Bragg. The inaugural double IPA (aka Imperial IPA) was made by the current co-owner at a different brewery in 1994. Double means it uses double the hops and malts, and the ABV is quite a bit higher. He then created Pliny the Elder (ABV 8.0%) in 2000, recognized as the most famous DIPA. The track continued, with Pliny the Younger in 2005, a triple IPA (using triple the hops and malts with ABV of 10.25%). This version is available once a year in the spring, since it costs so much money and time to make. With so much malt being used, a large amount of time (and hops) is needed to balance. I've had Pliny the Elder in bottles before, and really liked it: I don't like the hoppy 'piney' taste in my beers, but also recognize that not enough will make the beer too sweet (which I've been facing with a lot my island beers lately). Parking is street only, but there was a lot of it, with the metered parking only requiring payment till 6 pm. We were greeted warmly by the hostess and immediately seated at a table near the bar. As expected, it was quite loud, with after work folks having a good time. We got menus, ordered our food, and then decided what to do about flights. The brewery is also known for their Belgian style and thus offers two different flights. It was my first time, and didn't know how much my wife could help, so decided to order the California Sampler (a selection of 12 different West Coast 5 oz. pours of ales and lagers for $15.45) to start: O.V.L. Stout (Old Vic Loyals) - Irish nitro stout - really beginning to love stouts, and this one was good. Velvet Glow - lager - solid. Ending up buying 6 pack to bring home ($12.99) STS Pils - pilsner. We finished off our meal with a Vinnies (co-owner) sundae: good vanilla ice cream with whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and a lot of almond slivers. They were both really good. It tasted like real, homemade ice cream to me. There are just a few seats by the window. No outdoor seating. Parking: You will need to find metered street parking spots around the area. No bathroom. Credit card/Apple Pay accepted. No Wifi.

Additionally, the suggested tip amounts are also calculated based on the total that includes both the sales tax and the credit card fee. Most customers expect tip percentages to be based on the pre-tax cost of the food and drinks. As a result, you end up giving a lot higher tip than you intended to. Because the payment screen does not show an itemized bill, it's very difficult to verify the charges or calculate a custom tip unless you remember the exact prices of everything you ordered. I hate when a restaurant's billing practice isn't transparent to customers.
