We ate there for the first time this week. The best Mexican Restaurant in the area. Everything was made from scratch. The service was great.

Let me just say, i will definitely be coming back. We tried the alligator bite's appetizer, not…read morewhat I was expecting but definitely not disappointed at all. Almost like a small order of chicken fajitas, great flavor. For entrees we had mango pico chicken, Honduran fish filet, and the grilled octopus. The chicken was so flavorful and the mango salsa on top was sweet and blended so well with the chicken. The filet is something I know i'll crave all the time. I believe it was a coconut sauce on top with grilled veggies, absolutely incredible, I would highly recommend this dish. As for the grilled octopus I loved it, the flatter cut parts (don't know what they are called) had a perfect texture, usually with octopus it's very chewy, but the whole dish had an amazing texture, flavor and presentation. For sure get the bread pudding, genuinely the best i have ever had. The food all came out incredibly fast as well. The ambiance of the restaurant is very nice and quite. Very simplistic, the only issue we had overall was a few flies. I can't stress enough that it wasn't a terrible amount of flies, but noticeable, besides that everything was great. The service was 5 stars. Kaitlyn and Slade both took care of us, it felt like we were being taken care of by friends not strangers. They were both incredibly sweet and were knowledgeable of the menu and recommended great dishes. When you go make sure to request either one of them.

I don't remember if we took a while to browse the menu (this was our first time) but our food arrived at 5pm. I ordered the : "BIRRIA TACOS MEXICAN #39 ($16) Three yellow corn tacos dipped in birria juice, stuffed with birria beef, cheese, onions, and cilantro then grilled to crisp. Served with mexi- rice and charro beans" they were fantastic. So good!! As usual I was not able to finish and boxed my leftovers. When I received the check- my meal was priced at $13 (maybe priced for lunch?) I don't know. But it didn't hurt my feelings. Anyhow. It was a pleasant visit. Until the next table came in and was sat right directly beside us. Despite the empty room. Oh well. I definitely recommend!!

The food is exceptional, the service a 10 & the vibe CHECK passes. We've had the pleasure of meeting the owner one dinner night and he was extremely personable and joined us for dinner while discussing what brought us to the area & after learning we drove in JUST to dine there he was pleased. The seafood is extremely fresh The bread pudding is the perfect closing dish Chefs Kiss

He ordered The Old Same Place drink (old fashioned spinoff), and I got the Broadmoor Norteño. Both were good; mine was spicier than anticipated--made me drink a lot of water with it, which is good for me lol. I got the calamari special. It was good, not the best I've had but good. I also ordered the halibut special. It was buttery and nutty and amazing and the Brussels sprouts were perfectly salty and the potato puree and carrots made me more excited for Thanksgiving coming up! Hubby ordered the dry aged salmon special, which he also thoroughly enjoyed. He will be back during lunch sometime to try the fish and chips to see if they compare to his experience in the UK. He is dubious yet hopeful. Overall, great date night place!

Good Lord what a great place!…read more Hubby & I rolled in here needing some strong Cuban coffees to go! Score!!! Walking in, the place looks brand new, totally adorable & smelled so good we decided to hang around & stuff our faces while we were there with whatever they were cooking! Yeah! Lol We got their signature coconut cream seafood soup with the giant crab & the beef tacos, which are suppose to be their most popular dish. YUM! We have not stopped talking about this hidden jewel since we got back home! :)... The seafood soup was 2.die4! Hubby & I ate the whole thing. Then we fought over the tacos! Hand crafted tortillas from their own dough. Succulent tender quality beef seasoned to perfection then topped with super fresh cilantro & avocado. I never eat beef tacos but these? These have stolen my heart :).. They come with a red & green salsa. Warning: The red sauce is very very very HOT. I mean it's VERY SPICY. My whole face was burning for the remaining 5 hours drive home. Use sparingly or prepare yourself for torture lol The Cuban coffee with milk was delightful. Hubby drank them both. Good times ;) We are already planning our next trip back here! We can't wait to return! Highly recommend :)'

Very similar to Mexican food in Texas. Chocolate cake tasted like chemicals- not fresh. I really wanted to like this place as I really enjoy some good Cuban food but this place was a bit of a disappointment.
