The headboard's material was peeling and there were tears in the bench. I delivered both to the company's shop in Santa Ana. Both pieces were reupholstered as I waited. They have a variety of materials. I used an industrial vinyl for the headboard and leather (they had a scrap piece which fit perfectly!) for the bench. Each choice and reason for using one material vs another type was thoroughly explained so I felt comfortable with my choice. I also saw and understood why the original material on the headboard peeled, thus guiding my choice to the industrial vinyl (which is beautiful). I had the bench reupholstered a few years back. Upon removal of the original materials, it was found that two different colors of vinyl were used. There were also two different pieces of foam which were not glued properly and caused a dip to be created over time in the middle of the bench. Craftsmanship and materials were important for me on this project because I plan on keeping these pieces. I'm very happy with my experience, the value and price paid.

I was referred to the company as one that could reupholster the driver's seat on a 2008 Hyundai Tucson that was very badly damaged. I drove to the company and received an estimate...a very fair one...to reupholster the bottom portion of the driver's seat. The estimate involved using vinyl that very closely matched the material in the existing leather seating surfaces. We matched the color from a wide collection of samples. We selected a date to have the work done. At that time, I was told they were able to obtain leather to reupholster the seat at the same price as the vinyl. The work on the seat was done using leather. When we picked up the car, we saw a repaired seat that was almost a complete match to the existing seats. To say we were pleased is an understatement! If you are looking for quality craftsmanship in an upholstery shop, this is the place! Finding a business that can deliver and exceed your expectations is rare. My brother recommended me to Francis. Her team provides excellent customer service and upholstery. They replaced the cloth on the front and back seats, plus the door panels of my 2014 Prius, with beautiful, durable boat-grade vinyl. The car looks new with the vinyl seats. It will be easier to keep the seats clean, especially with two dogs that shed! I scheduled the work over the Thanksgiving holiday break since I did not need my car for a few days. I dropped it off on Wednesday and had it back by Monday. You can't rush perfection! read more

I was doing a project in installing shades / canopy's and this company was able to get me in and take on the difficult task of redoing my stitching of my shades a different company did for me out of state. We were happy in being able to get our upholstery needs taken care of locally rather then getting them done out of state. Very competitive prices and service with excellence. Company is very busy so you need to book ahead of time but once your in they focus on you which I love. I don't like going to a company and once you hire them they put you on the back burner, not with El Shaddai they do first come first serve. A company with reliable and quality work.. read more

What a phenomenal establishment! I found this shop only because it was near my work. I had called several shops in the surrounding area and was quoted WAY MORE. I had talked with the owner Francis and discussed a price for all new upholstery and a few other things to be done on my boat and was very happy with the price she gave me.
