Our most recent one is 18 ft long and 179 lbs, and the prospect that someone might damage it trying to install it was worrisome. Had a great experience with these guys and found them easy to work with. They installed a slide shade sunbrella system for me on an existing patio structure. I had to reach out to Max a couple times initially on the same day to come give me an estimate, but he came out and quickly sized up the project and gave a quote on the spot. The quote was better than a few other yelp competitors, and Max gave me the feeling he and his crew knew what they were doing just as well if not more so than the competitors. The install was a day later than we had initially agreed upon, but it wasn't a big deal for me, plus they provided me with notice a day before to let me know. A two man crew came out and the installers were great to work with as well and adjusted the anchor points to improve the fitment of the shades to ensure I was satisfied with the install. Max was awesome! After coming out for a free estimate, he returned the following Saturday with his helper to clean and repair my gutters. He said they pulled out around 10lbs of built-up mud and debris which was causing a lot of sagging in the middle. That damage to the gutter resulted in a waterfall in front of my door whenever it rained. They re-secured the middle of the long gutter using a long threaded bolt vs. the standard long nail, and corrected the sag. It's raining today, and the repairs are perfect! We had an electric awning installed about 15 years ago and the remote quit working about 4 or 5 years ago. The awning was partially open with no way to close it. After the recent high winds we decided we needed to fix it. I contacted Excellence Awnings through Yelp and they responded right away. I sent pictures and was told they may have a remote that would work. They came out to the house 2 days later. We found out that the motor was bad as the remotes didn't work. They tried 3 different types. Excellent customer service! We ended up removing the old motor and replacing it with a manual crank for now. Amazing service, but even more amazing response when there are issues. Just now (Friday night) my toddler got ahold of the remote and reset the limit on the awning, so that it wouldn't close. Their crew came out yesterday the clean out our second floor gutters, they explained before hand what they would do to clear the clogged drains and if I had any questions or concerns before they started. They cleaned the patio cover, got the pine needles and leaves out of the gutters, then took off the enclosed gutter to power wash the inner channel, needless to say I was impressed! Had another crew clean them out several years ago and they didn't do near the job this team of two did, for the work they did, it was money well spent. Many businesses promise to come out but these guys will, even if they aren't doing a total redo of your patio, that eliminates most other companies.
