This is your average run of the mill Chipotle/Moe's style burrito place. It has a couple extra styles of tortillas, rice, beans, and salsas compared to those places but none of them were spectacular. They also do not steam the tortillas so they are not as pliable and harder to roll. The tortillas ended up rubbery and we also were not in love with having to peel the paper away from the burrito as we went since they cut them in half. We were not fans of the salsa given to use with the side of chips it was too acidic making it unpleasant... hopefully that was just an off batch. Flavorwise I'd probably give this place 4 stars but the price knocked it down to 3 stars. 2 burritos with guac & 2 drinks with the side of chips cost us about $30 which makes it too expensive to visit on a regular basis. read more

I have been to El Sol multiple times. Every single time they hit with efficiency. From baby sized burritos to filled to the top taco salads those flavors do not miss, and the customer service is always on point! Today I branched away from the typical fair and order the shrimp ceviche. My order took about 10 minutes to come out to me but is was most certainly worth the wait. The gentleman that made it handed it to me and said "I'm sorry it took so long but I really hope you like it." Did I like it? No, I loved it. Hands down this beats the local ceviche that I have had in Mexico. I hope that the doors at El Sol stay open for a very long time. The servers are wonderful and attentive. They even brought all my family's food to the table regardless of fact this was all served cafeteria style. There was one minor problem with the meal but they corrected it extraordinarily fast, blessed us with more than we originally asked which showed me they had character, and made every attempt to cover us the rest of the meal. The servers were incredibly attentive to our needs. They went above and beyond what I expected and even did so a a price-point that was well-below what I thought a meal of that caliber and volume would cost. Unfortunately this restaurant needs to make sure they are following CDC guidelines. None of the employees had on mask. One employee had on gloves. The other employee had on one glove, then after making the customer ahead of us food he take their money and then proceeded to touch our food without washing his hands or changing out his gloves.
