Place is great for tacos. I think maybe they should just stick to tacos. We tried to sit in a table and it was a little dirty, like table tops and also floor. What else can I say. El Taco Llama is a great place to get good Mexican fast food. For years, I worked in Chatsworth and I must've eaten at El Taco Llama (on Corbin) over 100 times. The food is very good (carne asada burrito and tacos and fish tacos) and the price is good. When I left my job in Chatsworth and I moved to Castaic, I realized how much I missed El Taco Llama. One day, I was in Fillmore doing a delivery (I'm an auto broker and I deliver cars to my clients) and I see the familiar El Taco Llama name. I have got to get a burrito! I walk in and I see the owner - I say hi and he is pleasant, but he looks at me like he doesn't know me. Come to find out, his brother (who looks just like him) owns the one on Corbin! Okay, so I order my carne asada burrito with refried beans, easy on the rice, hot sauce and cheese with a large coke! The memories are brought back and I savor the taste of that delicious meal! All the way down to the last bite! I order another one to go and I have lunch for tomorrow! I give them four stars, only because I've been spoiled by some great hole in the walls in Oxnard. El Taco Llama is the best I've found out here and if it weren't for Oxnard, I'd give them five stars read more

Fantastic Mexican food that's reasonably priced. Here's how you know this place is the real deal: the locals love it. It wouldn't be open otherwise. There were quite a few restaurants here before Taco Llama and none of them stayed around for long. I brought several friends from the SB area who were familiar with *good* Mexican food and they loved it. Menu is is all the standard fare: tortas, tacos, burritos... but the food is anything but run-of-the-mill. Beverages include a light orchata and refreshing jamaica as well as standard sodas. I was such a fan of this spot. Amazing food, affordable and kind service from the young lady there. I don't know what's going on weather it's the change of location or new management but I received the rudest service ever. We ordered two burritos and both were done incorrectly. Which happens but when we returned to ask if they can fix them the gentleman with glasses grabbed our burritos and had such a awful attitude. He then made two new burritos again wrong (carne asada burrito no onions and cilantro and a breakfast burrito with potato) at this point we felt so awkward and uncomfortable we left with two burritos we didn't eat . From speaking to other's apparently my experience isn't the only one. I don't know what their doing over there or what has changed but I don't like it. Let me mention that the restaurant was completely empty and still we felt like we were unconvincing him. Hope they find someone else to work the front. read more

I was there in the middle if the afternoon and it wasn't too busy. Order at the register to go. The gorditas with carne asada were delicious! The tacos were good street tacos. I also got the horchata, it's not homemade but still good for a premade mix. They have a salsa bar with pickled potatoes. read more
