    Carne Asada burrito

Guess shrinkflation has hit this place hard Take a look at this burrito where's my steak? Salsa still fire though

The perfect bite (chicken Taquitos with salsa, cheese, and guac)

Corrales is that small town local joint with all of the feel good vibes. Reminds me of my childhood and where I grew up, that this is easily a crave-able place. Located in Ventura off one of the main drags, it's easy to find and also nice that they have their own small parking lot. Plenty of street parking too but the lot is a nice bonus to be able to safely get in and out of your car. The signage is seeable from a bit away and the cute outside adobe styled architecture draws you in. The staff here are very nice and friendly. They are quick to help you so make sure you know what you want when you go up to the counter. They also hustle out food orders and it's nice to hear the people working in the back talking and sometimes when your lucky, singing. This spot has just got a good vibe. Very casual and locals primarily. The menu is surprisingly large but also easy to follow. They have all of the classics and the menu has something for everyone. Prices are super reasonable for how big the portions are, it's a great value here. Only one $ but a 5/5 for taste and quality. Food: the chicken taquitos are a slam dunk. White meat chicken and loaded up with guacamole and cheese. These are some of the best and simplest feel good foods I've ever had. Dipped in their classic salsa this is a meal I won't soon forget. Also tried a classic bean and cheese burrito and it was all of my childhood happy memories flooding back to me. We all know it doesn't take much to craft and B&C burrito but when it's made with love it slaps just right, and they are super tasty and classic here. Bomb! Don't overlook the simple things in life. Washed everything down with an Orange Bang (if you know you know). But if you don't I wish you did and since we don't gate keep around here make sure you order one to drink and trust me, your life will be changed. This spot is an easy 5/5. The vibes are neighborly and friendly. Solid food and cheap eats. Love ordering at a counter and just being one with all of the regulars outside, if you haven't been in awhile or wasn't sure about the quality, I can assure you this place rocks and you've got to come by.

    Gross!

I used to like this location, but I think the other is better. I am comparing both a day apart as an update to my previous 4 star opinion. The other location had the best shredded chicken and perfectly wrapped burrito. This one...I almost broke my tooth on this cartilage or whatever the heck it is. Tooth is hurting now and my appetite is gone.

    Rib eye breakfast burrito.

Over $30 bucks for two burritos and one drink, no way never again it wasn't that good. We'll go to In & Out for a better deal.

Parking is, well, if you know you know. :( REVIEW: This is a great little restaurant and I prioritize coming here every time I am in DTVTA. Recently, I was at the Rubicon Theatre and needed lunch after a show. This location is located within walking distance of the Rubicon and is usually so busy each time I come! My marker of a good place to eat is usually on how busy they are. :) This recent visit I had a torta (my first, didn't catch the name) and it was outstanding! The meat was fresh and hot and the bun was flavorful! I did note that on my next visit here I want to try the Hawaiian (?) torta! Can't wait to be back! The service is always great each time. Thank you to the ladies who are friendly and respectful and greeted us (and all the customers) with a smile. Thank you so much! Definitely recommend!

I've eaten at 3 of their locations, and perhaps this location may be slightly more geared to 'gringo' tastes. I had their breakfast burrito, and unlike most other tacquerias, they give you a lot of nice melted cheese. The beans didn't taste as salty or flavorful as some other taco places. But overall, very satisfying, just didn't have that fully tacqueria taste. I have really enjoyed their veggie Papas and rajas tacos at the Avenue location. This may be the best tacqueria for vegetarians, more options. Staff here tends to be younger (college ages), and generally very friendly. I actually sometimes just stop in for their Horchata. It's not homemade (as that is a very difficult drink to make!) but I find it satisfying. In general all the prices here are reasonable, less than some other places that are charging 15-17 for burritos. This is a strong recommendation if you are downtown and craving casual Mexican eats!

It is great for any special occasion and offers inside and outside dining. I suggested this restaurant to my out of town guests to celebrate my dear friend's birthday. Rumfish did not disappoint. The Spring weather is beautiful in Ventura so we sat outside. Service is prompt and casual. It was crowded even on a Thursday evening, but the outdoor area is spacious. Everything from appetizers to dessert is fresh and first class. Seafood options are plentiful and seasoned perfectly. The only downside is that parking is limited - only one handicapped spot for two busy restaurants. No parking signs prevent street parking up Palm.

The restaurant has a really cute Mediterranean/Italian vibe with gorgeous lemon trees and comfy patio seating. It was chilly outside, but the heaters made it comfortable. Staff was friendly, just very busy because of the holiday. Food took around an hour, but understandable for Mother's Day. The food was excellent. I got the flatbread with apricot jam and bacon, and it was such a good mix of sweet and savory with fresh arugula on top. Definitely recommend it. My boyfriend got the wagyu burger medium with fries and everything was cooked perfectly and served hot. Other people at our table got shrimp and corn, fish tacos, and burgers, and everything looked really good. Great place, will come back

Let's talk about the drinks. The Lemon Drop with Vodka was an amazing choice. The Old Fashioned was good too, but it was a bit too strong for my taste. The Horchata was decent, but I've had better. Now, let's talk about the food. The Mulita is the star of the show! I personally loved their Asada Mulita. It was rich and full of flavor. On weekends, you can also order Off Cuts like Tripa, Cabeza, and Lengua. My wife raved about the Cabeza Mulita, saying it was amazing! We also tried three types of tacos: Pastor, Asada, and Apollo. All three were delicious, but here's how I ranked them in order of taste: 1) Asada - Amazing tender flavor 2) Chicken - Very tender 3) Pastor - I'm a huge pastor fan, but while delicious, the other two tacos beat it to third place. By the way, my wife and daughter were raving about their grilled fish tacos. They believe these are the best tacos on the menu because of their amazing flavor. The fresh salsas are also very delicious. They're all great, so try them all with your tacos. And the knockout punch comes when you try their Elote (grilled corn on the cob). This is an OMG off the charts FULL of FLAVOR treat. I highly recommend having at least one as part of your meal. You won't be disappointed.
