I would have liked the bean dip sized bowl to get enough, instead of having to get several tiny cups which are hard to scoop from with the chips. I orderd the #7 which was a cheese enchilada, a crunchy beef taco, and rice and beans. My friends ordered two different taquitos plates, one orderd a fajitas plate, and the youngest got cheese quesedilla. My food was delicious but the portion was so large that I could only eat the taco and take the rest to go! I've put off writing this review for quite some time, "pepe" i believe, bilingual cashier big guy loves to PREY on the YOUNG girls from the high school across the street. there has been multiple occasions where he flirts with them and compliments there outfits and even calling them "HOT". Not something you should say to minors... He definitely knows they are underage they walk in with backpacks! it's common sense. He is a creepy guy don't send your daughters there alone he flirts with woman of age too but it's weird knowing he doesn't care about their age i doubt the owners would even care to do anything about this - do not give your money to this business!!! Was recommended to this restaurant and I was not let down! Got the 4 tacos and a drink combo. First of all I got the taco meat in Asada (beef) and it had no fat, the meat was cooked to perfection and very well seasoned. The toppings were also fresh and the salsa was nice and spicy. The Mexican drink was also very tasty. I got the pineapple flavor and it was really refreshing. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants some real authentic Mexican food. Their handmade tortillas make me nostalgic, reminding me of my grandmother's tortillas from back in the day. Chef's kiss! Socorro's is a great authentic Mexican spot when you're in the hood. Prices are fair, the food is delicious, and the employees hustle to serve everyone. The only drawback is that since it's so small, it's hella busy all day every day. It's definitely a two-person mission to come here - one to stay double-parked, one to run inside to grab the food. Sometimes it's easier said than done, but it's so worth it!
