Although I have not had the chance to visit their actual ghost kitchen location in Altamonte, I did have the wonderful opportunity to visit their food truck at the Orlando Fringe Festival. Accompanied by a friend, we stopped by The Pass Kitchen food truck with high hopes. Not only did they meet all expectations, but they exceeded them. The staff was kind and engaging. That is also part of the reason we ended up eating at The Pass Kitchen over another food truck that was in consideration. It was solely due to how engaging the staff was. Also, their frescas were super tasty, which is mostly what I had. I only had a little corner of what my friend ordered, and it was super tasty. I am not typically a burrito girly, which is what my friend ordered, but I am a taco girly. When you pull up, it looks like an industrial area -- big parking lot, office buildings, and the place doesn't even look open. The windows are so dark and tinted you can't see inside, the parking lot might be empty, and you'll be questioning everything. Still pull on the door. When you open it, you'll see they're open. It's to-go only, no dine-in seating. The service is friendly, and they'll give recommendations if you ask. You order through a kiosk, and honestly, everything on the menu is good. I've had the tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and even the ramen -- all solid. But let me be VERY clear... My favorite thing on the menu, hands down, is the fried bread pudding. I can't eat spicy foods so when I asked about heat, they were so cautious to tell me each potential ingredient that could be an issue and to put them on the side so I could manage the spicy level. It was still SO flavorful even slightly deconstructed and I've brought several friends to try it since. The value of flavor, quality, and quantity for the price is great.
