Their verde sauce is just like they have in Mexico and it's so good, service is great as well as the family that owns it takes a lot pride in their work. I gave it another try and I gave it another star. I was in the mood for tacos (surprise, surprise) and decided to stop here again. I remembered the delicious chorizo from last time so I had to get a chorizo taco. I saw they had burritos too so I got myself a shrimp one. Shrimp was a $3 uncharge and it probably wasn't worth it. The burrito was absolutely massive! It was fatter than most, so the distribution of ingredients wasn't great. The shrimp was in the middle and the outside was rice and beans and they just didn't go together. I think if I got a chicken and chorizo burrito, I would have thought differently. It can go from empty to a line of 8 people pretty quickly, so they're doing something right. Either everyone is ordering chorizo tacos or I'm not getting the right thing yet. Stumbled upon this taco spot when plan A didn't work out. The space is cozy with minimal tables but offered seating against the wall. It was exciting to see that they are expanding into the location next door which is definitely needed for more tables. They did offer salsa verde and an avocado salsa that I also choose to have as my sauces. The wait took about 10 or so minutes which was pretty decent for a busy Saturday afternoon. The tacos were pretty legit. The steak was tender and seasoned well. The Al pastor had a subtle flavor, but not as much as I'm used to when it comes to Al pastor. I saw a sign outside advertising Quesabirria tacos but then realized they were only offered on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday... unfortunately for me it was Monday so I had to look for something else. My disappointment quickly dissipated as I saw their great selection of street tacos. Of course they all kind of other options and you can pretty much find whatever you're in the mood for, but again I was craving tacos! I ordered two each Chorizo, Barbacoa and Asada. It was actually quite tough to decide because they had so many great options to choose from. For my drink, I ordered my favorite which is Agua Fresca de Jamaica...yum! They had plenty of options for dunks too and a wide variety of Jarritos. I was just about to pay when I noticed Elote and Esquites on the menu so I had to have that too LOL. All of the tacos came garnished with onion and cilantro, but they ask you if you want that added or not... Well, it wouldn't be tacos without it so let's do it! They also have a great selection of salsas to choose from, and I chose the Salsa de Habanero and Salsa de Aguacate. I ordered my food to go and suffered on the way back to my hotel because everything smelled so good! Once back in my room, I immediately dug in and savored all of the great flavors! The Esquites and tacos were exactly what I was craving. Everything was so authentic and full of incredible flavors. The salsas were spot on as well and added the perfect amount of heat. I don't leave until Friday so it's safe to bet I will go back again and try to get some Quesabirria on Thursday!
