This place is pretty popular and it's not hard to tell why. The food portions are big so come with an appetite. You can dine-in or carry out. They have outside seating as well. I had the nachos supreme and my parents had the Asada fires and the taco special. Their salsa bar is nice and the food arrived fairly quick for it being so busy. I will defiantly be returning. If you're looking for good food at an affordable price, this place is it.

Double Tortilla tacos with the best flavors! Aguas frescas and a Salsa bar. And the jams were jamming too! This hit the spot after coming back from Cali. The ambiance is very much Juarez Vibes and the service is on point..

Tried El Taquero Comer for the first time this past week and was pleasantly surprised with their food and service! I was craving a burrito and wanted to try their establishment but unfortunately DoorDash was showing they could not deliver until 4pm. I called in to double check the time since google showed their shop was currently open so I thought that's when they started accepting delivery orders. The man I spoke with in the phone was very friendly when I told him I was trying to order through door dash, he actually said he would open it up on their end to accept orders! I was so surprised he was kind enough to do that. Half hour later I was able to place my order for delivery. I was happy to be able to try their food because everything looked so good in the photos I saw. I ordered the supreme burrito and asada fries. My husband got their quesadilla. Honestly everything was so delicious! I had been looking for a good Mexican establishment in the area with good, filling burritos. Well I found exactly what I was looking for with El Taquero Comer! I highly recommend them if you're craving a good burrito and asada fries! Their serving portions are good for sharing too. Or enough for maybe two meals. Five stars for great customer service and delicious food that's well worth the price!

Beans and rice on the side are optional / modest extra charge - they are usually very good and worth adding if you're hungry enough. My favorite sauce is the Chipotle. It's got heat as it's also creamy...I would call it medium (I like spicy food.) If you're getting them to go, you might want the sauce and toppings on the side. They usually ask about that, but occasionally they might forget. Service is usually friendly and efficient even when they are busy. Your food is made to order, so it's fast but not instantaneous. Allow 5-10 minutes for pickup most of the time. The dining room is medium-sized. I would say it's a place to eat and go, not stay and linger.

We ordered the flautas with chipotle sauce and the chilaquiles with half red and half green sauce. The chilaquiles were absolutely amazing. We added a runny egg since we couldn't do chicken, and it gave the dish extra flavor and a good boost of protein. The flautas (which I'd honestly describe more as taquitos dorados) were crunchy and tasty. We liked the chipotle sauce that came with them, but we actually loved dipping them into the chilaquile sauce even more. Overall, it was a great spot to grab breakfast before hitting the road again for many more hours. Highly recommend!

I bumped it up to four stars for the super friendly service and the excellent aguas frescas. We got there late, about an hour before closing and they were literally trying to get rid of the aguas for free. I guess they have to dump it if they don't use it all. It was close to our hotel so we gave it a try. Portion sizes are good. The taco platter comes with six tacos! I had the flautas Chinampa which came with four beef flautas, beans, rice, and salad. I forgot, the taco platter even came with a baked potato. Prices were excellent. We had gone to McDonald's in the morning and spent more. They also cave us frijoles charros for free. Not sure if this was standard or if they were also trying to get rid of it. I would return for the service and the convenience, but if you're looking for life changing Mexican cuisine, it's not here. What you get is a good amount of decent food at a good price served by great people.

Had multiple thousand Google reviews and they were all close to five stars. So I knew I had to check it out. It was super close to my hotel, so I popped in the car and found it without trouble. Trouble. Again, there is pretty limited parking so it's kind of hit and miss whether you'll find a spot or not. Fortunately, I did. When you walk up to the place, the building itself is pretty nondescript. They have a nice selection of outside seating, and your window to order is outside. Very nice lady at the counter gave me helpful suggestions and so I ordered three tacos and an amazing lime and cucumber fresca. Went in and sat down inside and was pleasantly surprised by the interior. It definitely had more of an upscale bar vibe to it than a Taco shop. The waiter that brought out my tacos told me that it turns into more of a nightclub after hours. I may have to go check that out. The tacos themselves were absolutely off the chain! The tortillas were blue corn and everything on it tasted so fresh and so wonderful. The carnitas was fantastic, the brisket Taco was to die for and the blackened shrimp Taco was one of the best I've ever had. Had. The flavors were so balanced and on point, it was one of the most satisfying taco experiences I have had!! I will probably hit this place up a couple more times before I leave El Paso. If you are in El Paso, you probably already know about this place. But I'm telling you what you cannot go wrong for tacos and that lime/ cucumber fresca! Bottom line? It's about 10 hours drive from Las Vegas to El Paso. And this Taco shop will give me a great reason to do a road trip anytime. Do yourself a favor and go check this place out!
