Overall this dish did its job of satiating SO's craving. Tripa California burrito - This wasn't bad at all! It came with a really good hot sauce. I could have taken shots of it (and I did). The tripa was pungent yet crispy. The fries had the same texture as the ones used in the nacho fries. Before our food came, in-house diners receive a basket of tortilla chips and salsa and their version of 'curtido' (pickly cabbage slaw). I especially liked the freshness and crunch! Service was good. The dude was super nice, although I think he missed my order of a horchata as it never made it out. I brushed it off as a sign that I didn't need an additional sweet drink with my meal :) In the end, I am glad we tried a new place. But I don't know if it is close enough to us for it to be a regular spot.
