I pulled up reviews to see how they've been lately and don't ever remember leaving one myself, but I did and gave much praise. That was 2012. It's been several years now since I've stopped going to Julia's, which sucks cause it wasn't too far from work and the drive-thru was a huge plus. My last visit was 4 years ago, and a lot of the reviews since don't seem to be too favorable so I can only assume it hasn't improved since. Carnita tacos were my favorite but they stopped shredding the meat and putting it in the tacos in cubes. Was also on the dry side and not a lot of good flavor like years past. The last time I went I asked if they could shred the meat and the request was acknowledged at the window, but once I got back to work with my lunch and opened up, cubed carnitas. Absolutely amazing!! A little hidden gem in Denair. Their food is always delicious! I've been eating here for years and I'm our family loves it! Their super burritos are so delicious!!! We have been here several times. But they have been so rude lately. Today we went and ordered 2 regular burritos and 2 shrimp cocktails. $32.00.When we got home one of the cocktails was almost see through. Then some of the shrimp still had tails on them and were not cleaned completely. I could have dealt with that. But the long dark hair (I am blonde) wrapped around a shrimp in my food did me in. Thischas been a very good place for years I've lived in Denair for a long time. recently I've been ordering tacos for my 5 year old. they gave me the wrong tacos two days in a row and I didn't say anything the first day. Today I went back because my son couldn't eat them. They just smiled and charged me again for more tacos instead of giving me a refund for their mistake. I ordered 3 chicken taco with green sauce and a bottle of coke. The green sauce had no salt or spice. The chicken seemed just boiled and shredded, there was no flavor. My colleague had ordered same thing 2 days earlier and she paid $1.25 for each taco and $2.75 for coke. The lady charged me $2.00 per taco and $3.50 for coke. Just unbelievable...the second you walk in and smell the food, your mouth starts watering. Looks are deceiving like the prior reviews say but it's what you would expect for a corner taco shop. The food, wow, I had a carnitas plate that was amazing, not a lot of fat and the pork was just the right amount of crispy. It was $8.50 with a side of beans, rice, lettuce, tomatoes and avacado. I also had two taco which were $1.25/each - carne asada and pastor. The carne asada is freaking amazing. Juicy, flavorful....I want to drive back the 20 minutes to have another one now. The pastor was also great, but the carne asado was a show stopper. If you're within 30minutes you owe it to yourself to come here. I have plenty of leftovers for another meal, the food was very very reasonably priced and the service was great. I'll be back without a doubt. Edit: lowered a star to 4 because their hours on the door say Mon-Sat - 10am - 9pm, Sunday: 10am - 4pm. Well i'm here on Sunday at 12noon and they are closed. I was really looking forward to this. I live about 40 min from this gem and it's worth the drive. The food is so fresh and it has a flavor you will crave once you eat it once. The food is always hot and fresh. Been here a few times when we come out here and each time is worse then the last with the way they conduct business, also they went above and beyond and making it noticeable they were talking mess about us especially when I seen the one lady move to get a better view of my mom. Not to mention the taste really wasn't anything to wait in the line for again. Won't be back for sure now! 3 1/2 stars! Son and I have tried twice, using the drive-through window both times. We've tried tacos, burritos (regular and supreme), and the supreme quesadilla. The tacos are a little too greasy, but the meats (have had carnitas, asada, and lingua) are all very good/fresh. Would give this a higher rating, but the prices for burritos are a little steep. $7 for an a la cart asada and cheese burrito is too much, especially when considering the size is smaller than you get at a taco truck. I do like that they use pinto beans in the burritos....Good place, but not great. There are much better options withing a 10 minute driving distance, but the drive through window option keeps us coming back! read more

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm So good. These chicas really know how to make food! (I say chicas because I have not seen a chico cooking in the kitchen since it opened). I love the convenience of the drive-thru and the ability to pay with your debit card (I hardly ever carry cash, so it's mega convenient for me). The burritos are so huge, you can have a half for lunch and the other half for dinner. Sometimes the chips are stale, but so what? The salsa rocks!!! Tacos are always great, of course. Sodas and drinks are cold! And when you say "extra chile" they mean it!! Always freshly cooked, hot meat - never over or under cooked. And the veggies are always fresh as well. This hidden gem is so awesome. It's like a truck but you know everything is cooked there and not in somebody's roach infested house in Ceres. The ladies there are always nice and fast. Good simple food and no Montezuma's revenge the next morning. An ice cold Modelo with your food is the way to go. read more

One of the worst taquerias I've been to. Burritos are dry and low quality. They charge you for extra cheese/sour cream which is fine if they'd actually give it to you.
