Sad... classic place where they open and they are not even ready... that's not even the problem, this place is overpriced, and on top of it they advertise on their own signs inside the place at one price and charge it at a different price, the "torta de asada" sign says $12.50 and $15.00 for combo, they charge me $16 and I mentioned to the woman upfront an she says I don't know, calls another woman in the back and she says I guess they raised the price, do you want it or not? That was not the question, I don't mind paying a dollar extra, just take the sign down, and I told her then you might want to remove that sign that has a lower price... for a simple lunch do 2 I paid over $60 not worth it for the bad slow and rude service, do not recommend this place. read more

They've got paletas de crema, y de hielo my favorite are the strawberries and cream, and the mango w/ Chile. If you need a vacation to Mexico and need just a taste get the Elote Chorriados. It's a cup of elote, butter, mayo, Chile powder bit of lemon centered into another plate that has your choice of chips covered in queso fresco and Valentina! Crazy good! Just make sure you go on an empty stomach and be prepared for the bloated- ness (maybe that's just my case...) However everything is super good paletas are better than Micho's in my opinion and price wise it's very affordable! read more

Well.... they use some sort of tajin that has seeds and little straw like pieces. It was pretty gross. A 5 star on the strawberry paleta. A Zero stars on the ezquites. Don't try the ezquites, no flavor, no salt. All u taste is the Mayo. The staff looks like their angry, no smiles, no small talk.. 2 stars bc it was clean and fast service. read more

I stopped for a quick fruit cup , but when I ate a grape it didn't taste right. I turn on my interior car lights and the grapes look like this ... I've never seen a grape with what looks to be herpes ?? I don't recommend this as a stop anytime. read more

So today we went in just to get a horchata and I saw that they redid the menu boards and I couldn't resist getting something yummy! I ordered tosti camerones which is hot Tostitos chips with lots I do mean lots of shrimp and cucumber, lime chili and hot sauce!! I'm in love and it was only $6.75 I'm addcited!!!! I love their mangoneadas trust me get one when you first try this place out. Other than that everything is delicious. Summer nights and weekend nights is when this place is really busy. I love this place! They have so many options on the menu, I feel like I could go here regularly for months and not try everything they have to offer. Paletas, aguas frescas, bionicos, nachos, tortas, fruta con limón y tajin... that barely scratches the surface. The staff are all extremely friendly. I feel like I go here at least once a week. The only problem is I'm straight gringo and some of their staff don't speak English. That's not enough for me to take a star away though. Plus, good thing for me I know words like camarones, jamón, queso, elote, fresa, nuez, piña, sandia (ABQ I know you're with me on that one). Point is, even if you don't know some of those words, I hope you can at least count to 20 en español because they got pictures with numbers. Or just point and say por favor ya na'mean? This is another one of those places I will bring anyone from out of town to. I've lived in San Diego and Tucson and never found a place quite like this one. Not to be missed. read more

If I could do no starts I would this place has the most disrespectful employees. I went to order and all the employees where hanging out in the back when someone finally came to take the order the young lady was very rude and began to roll her eyes at my family and rudely began to take our order they gave me a pager and told me to take a seat and the pager never went off when I went to ask after waiting they said they had already called out my order and I didn't pay attention! I processed to pay and the whole time the girls keep eyeballing my family and I! I finally got bugged and asked to talk to the manager and when we came out it was just a big joke what I was telling him and didn't seem to care that a paying customer was getting that type of treatment!!! I always go here, it is honestly more better that the michokana, they make all there ice cream is home made, so you know they aren't just store bought, everything is so good I have trouble picking just one thing. I recommend the Ferro Rocher ice cream, and the cookie and cream ice cream, they are so good so is the coconut ice cream. read more
